My goal is to eat breakfast every day. Which will be hard once the kids are back in classes. I will need to make my 11 bedtime stick and have hub’s lunch packed and clothes ironed the night before.

    Hi everyone

@gemwolf110 - Sorry to hear that your wedding has been postponed. I accepted you as a friend on MFP but I only use MFP to post here.

@its_cleo - If you remove the app from all your devices and then reinstall it seems to do the trick. Dependant on where you live, other people are finding success changing the language setting.

@theslightedgeforever - yes I owned it. Again I fell into the trap of long days and reaching out for high sugar food and not prepping my meals for the next day. How are you going with your Jan goals?

@trooworld - Well done on no stress eating . How is puppy. Any news??

@prisoner2food - After your previous hectic weeks with the babies, I am glad you are taking time out for yourself.

@Numer1ca - Great goal to have - brekky start kicks our metabolism. Glad you have been making good choices.

Hello to @cbabie and @TeresaW2010 - Hope all is okay with you

    Hello to anyone I missed

    Take care

    Trish

Good morning Ladies!! I'm so happy to see all these new names in the group! :)

@TrishasTime, We are losing our youth/college pastor, which is heartbreaking to our staff but we are also so proud of him and the new position he is taking. He will be the college pastor at a very large church and that will enable him to quit his other jobs and focus on full-time ministry. Plus, he is going to ask his love to marry him next week. Fortunately for me, my children's pastor is the one who will make the nursery schedule and she is the one who helps me with the website. She isn't EVER leaving so I don't have to worry about losing her!! How's your plan going today? I like that you acknowledge a bad day and then shake it off and keep on moving forward. That is the best thing we can do! :)

@its_cleo, the WW app has been causing me issues too. We just have to be patient and realize that a huge amount of people have joined WW in the New Year so the app is taking a beating. If it's down, I just write my food down and then go back and track it when I can. Your workout on those stairs and hill sounds great! I wish I could do stairs but my knee doesn't seem to like it much so I have to be careful. I love intervals on my treadmill! Great way to burn those calories. B)

@theslightedgeforever, I'm a little behind on the 100-day journal but plan to spend some time today catching up. I really want to be able to do one day at a time so I can reflect and make it sink in. I printed it out yesterday at work (free paper and ink!) and put it all in a binder. I will repost my chart. :)

@trooworld, GOOD for you for NOT stress eating!! That would be a big one for me too. We just gotta keep our goals front and center and not give in to the temptation to self-medicate our stress with food. You got this!! <3

@prisoner2food, so sorry to hear that you had upsetting family news but good for you for recognizing that it was a trigger to eat and instead you took action to stop before you started. Yes, do the 100-day journal! I really think it's going to be a big help.

@Numer1ca, it sounds like you have a busy life but you have to make time for yourself and to keep on making the good choices that will make you feel good about yourself. It's so hard for me when I'm super hungry to not cave but we can do it, can't we? :)

The sun is shining!! We have had soooo much rain lately that I thought we would never see the sun again. My plans for today are to catch up on my ironing/steaming of a bunch of clothes hanging in the back closet, do my 100-day journal and get in a good workout. The other day I actually picked up my handweights and did a few exercises with them. I think I will look up some videos or charts for free-weight exercises. I'm on day four of my 100 day challenge and so far so good! The thing that I really like about this challenge is that I'm only focusing on 10 days at a time. My goal is to lose 1 pound every 10 days. More would be great but I can at least strive for the one!

Here is my chart if any of you would like to use it. I modified it and took out the dates so that you can add your own and begin when you want to. :)

    Morning all,

I have been without internet all week..my comp is old and I don't know what happens to it...but for now I am back on line. I had to factory reset it..which means I have lost some of my apps.LOL

There are new ones on here and I welcome each one of you. This is a great place to get encouragement and even accountability.
@its_cleo Welcome!, great to see you here and glad you found us.
@Numer1ca Welcome! I am so glad you found us..

We start a 21D fast at our church tomorrow...I still haven't decided how I am doing the fast. I can do no food for 21 D, I can do one meal, I can do no sugar, I can do lots of things...I am praying and will decide by tomorrow the plan and then on with the fast. I am also doing again for the 4th time 21 D of prayer for my Business by Monique Mclean...I just love her..I am working also on a plan to get a treadmill. One of the things that has caused my weight to creep back on is no exercise. I have tried many things, but I love my treadmill...I spent every morning for 30-40 min in prayer and working my body...I miss that .. so it's time to fix that.

I don't see how I can possible catch up on all the post this week, so I will start afresh today.

@prisoner2food I'm sorry about your family news.

@Numer1ca breakfast is a great goal, it sets the tone for the day.

@TrishasTime Thanks! No news yet, hopefully soon.

@TeresaW1020 Thank you! Exactly...no self-medicating! It sounds like you have a good day planned.

@cbabie Sorry about your internet problems and the factory reset. :( I'm thinking about me and my 2-day fast for my colonoscopy and how I barely survived that lol and then thinking about you fasting for 21 days...amazing how you do that! :) You truly are amazing, my friend. Your devotion to your faith is remarkable and admirable. Good luck with your decision.

Hi all. I'm going to meet a friend at a coffee house today and I'll be working on a work-related project while catching up with her. I'm also getting some healthy groceries for the week. I'm going to *try* to squeeze in a walk both today and tomorrow if there is time. There will definitely be time tomorrow, hopefully there will be time today. Here is what is on the menu for this week in my household. If you would like any of the recipes, just ask and I'll share:

FUN FOOD: Meatball Sliders + Cauliflower Mash
    Three-Cup Chicken + brown rice
    Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps
    Instant Pot Zuppa Toscana
Turkey Meatloaf with Ketchup-Brown Sugar Glaze + roasted sweet potatoes
Instant Pot Zesty BBQ Chicken + baked fries

@Numer1ca Good for you! Keep at it.

@TeresaW1020 1 lb every ten days sounds like a great goal, very reasonable. As for exercise, everyone finds what's right for them, that's what's most important.

    Welcome back @cbabie

@TrishasTime and all hope all is well.

I am beat today and trying to get things done + exercise. I am doubting the diet regime, I just get these self-doubts like I'm being crazy and this is too obsessive and not healthy (the points, the macros, the cals, etc). But also I am kind of in shock at how well I am doing. Have been eating pretty well the last few days but within goal. I'm on like Day 5 of ww or something.

I'm also feeling a little overwhelmed at all the goals I set for myself- sometimes I get carried away. Food, exercise, drinking water, stretching every day, skin care....etc etc. I'm trying to pull back a bit today and ask myself what do I want? What do I want to do? And try to take it a bit easy as opposed to a schedule of goals I have for the day. Like sometimes a timeout is important too.

How often do you guys check the scale? I check sometimes 3 or 4 x a week, not sure if that is good or bad. I feel like it would be better if I only checked once a week but I can't seem to stop myself.

@its_cleo I weigh myself every day. I understand that the scale will fluctuate a lot. If the scale fluctuations get you down, then you can use an app like happyscale, which will average the week for you. Noom suggests weighing yourself daily.

I do think it’s important to have an overall goal that then these smaller goals fit into. That way you can remember when you run into lower motivation times.

I weigh every day and record it on the Happy Scale app. I tried to not weigh every day but that made me even crazier. :D You really have to do what is right for you. I know people who only weigh once a week because they can't take the daily fluctuations. I'm used to my body and the way the scale will jump around. The other night I made a stirfry and I was up over a pound the next morning. I was OK with that because I know what sodium does to me. I was back down this morning. The only weight that I really count is my weekly WW weigh in.

    Morning everyone

@TeresaW2010 - Glad you are not losing your children's pastor. I actually love your words on the bottom of your 100 days - was that your choice?

@cbabie _ I am so glad you are going to get back your treadmill - Will the old one be repaired or will you get a new to you one.

@prisoner2food - I hope that you are feeling better today after the family news.

@trooworld - Please keep me informed of your fur baby's progress. You have a nice varied menu - I still need to do my menu for next week.

@its_cleo - I check the scale twice a week. Once at my house the morning of my WW studio meeting and then at the WW meting. Time out is important - I think that otherwise life becomes a grind.

@numer1ca - How are you going following Noom - how is the coordinator - do they check in weekly with you? I keep getting emails from Noom saying 80% off etc and even thought I have "unsubscribed" multiple times, they keep sending emails.

I am too and froing about exercise this week. I have a lot of pressure (kinda like bruise would feel) in the space between under my arm to my heart region. It gets worse if I move the arm when walking, or I move around the bed at night. I have started sleeping with a heat patch over the area. I do not think it is anything really bad (had full breast check in Nov) _ Maybe I have hurt a muscle or something when I fell last week

    Okay

    catch you later

    Trish

@TeresaW1020 I use Happy Scale also and know the same things about my fluctuations and it doesn’t bother me. As long as the trends are going in the right direction I’m good. The number on the scale is just data and doesn’t define me. My actions define me.

@Trishastime. Hopefully you’ll feel better soon. I got 5 out 5 days for exercise this past week. Food was so so.

@gemwolf110 what’s one thing did you do today towards being healthier?

@trooworld That’s great on no stress eating. We would do so much better if we would just put less food in our mouths. I had my last holiday dinner on Friday. Kind of like a Friendsgiving but for Christmas. I did get my exercise in before I went which was a plus. I also tracked everything but went over on my calories. I should have had a piece of fruit for lunch. Instead I had the thinking I better eat lunch because if I go starving I will eat more. I stuck to one dessert but even taking a small portion of everything added up. Another positive was I put salad on my plate. That never happens at holiday dinners. So now I know what to do next time. Good thing was we played a trivia game and I came home with two gifts. It’s always something I want but would never buy myself.

@prisoner2food I really enjoy the book but have never completely made it to 100 days. I’m hoping by doing it with this group I will accomplish that. Great that you came on here instead of binge eating.

@its_cleo Did you do the stairs the other day. That’s a great exercise for the back side. I think the best diet regime is one you can stick with forever. I’m the same way with goals. I get carried away. The problem is I need too many things fixed. Lol. I check the scale daily unless I forget

@Numer1ca in order to get in bed by 11, what time do you need to start packing lunch and ironing. Maybe you could make some overnight oats or have breakfast sandwiches made up in the freezer to just pop out and heat. Anything to speed up the morning routine. Good for you for making healthy choices.

@TrishasTime My Jan goal. Hit and miss on the food calories and snooze and good on exercise. Unexpected family came in for 2 days so more cooking and baking. Then I had my dinner on Friday. Oh and bookclub on Thursday. I made excellent choices there by only ordering soup and no dessert. Dessert is on my boundary list for bookclub so I could have had it but with the baking I had been doing I didn’t need it.

@TeresaW1020 I finally got caught up tonight on my journal. I was behind a day because I normally write in the evening but was at that dinner. I’m doing mine on Penzu because I’m cheap. Lol. Plus when I do the next 100 days I’m going to write my answers underneath and hopefully see how much progress I’ve made. I was like you just telling myself focus on that one pound. I’d still come out ahead comparing it to 2018.

@cbabie Glad you got your net fixed. Hopefully you will get a new treadmill soon.

Finally caught up here. Off to read

@TrishasTime I’m not sure how I feel yet.

I like my coach, but I’m advanced and already know the stuff. I just haven’t been doing it.

The food recording needs different choices. Sometimes I eat 2/3 not 3/4.

And a glitch is not uploading my steps, which makes me angry. I sent in acs tag, but really, just fix it.

    It’s only been a week, so I don’t have a group yet.

I definitely like to cross platforms.

Let’s check back in on my opinion in 1 month.

    Morning all
Good to see you all on here. My internet is going in and out and not sure when this will post..LOL But I am going to write it. I have got a busy day this morning, with church. I have to be there at 7, get the classrooms set up, then to worship practice, church, etc..won't be home until after 12. Today is the start of the fast. I know only 2 things right now. I will be drinking my Young Living Nixja in the morning and no food at this time. I am thinking of a 3 day total no food fast right now, then maybe eat 1 meal a day, but sometimes I am better with all or nothing,..LOL

@gemwolf110 I see you on the home page..great job, keep it up!

    @trooworld I love your menu's. I don't have an instapot yet either...but I know I will someday. LOL
@prisoner2 I am sorry for your news, but great job on getting here instead. I am not sure I would have.. but I am getting better at the emotions..

@its_cleo I check the scale a couple times a week, it just keeps me in line..but I think I will try this happy scale app.

@Numer1ca Sounds like me...I know what to do, I just haven't been doing it..LOL So together we will get out butts back in gear and do what we know is good for our bodies. :)

@TrishasTime I will be looking for a new one to me..but used. I gave mine away which was really pretty stupid. But doesn't do me any good to say would of should of could of...LOL

@TeresaW1020 I like your 100 day sheet and was going to print it but then I decided doesn't do me any good while we are doing the fast...but maybe I should just to create the habit. LOL

@theslightedgeforever glad your company is gone and you can now get back to your own program. You are so knowledgeable..how did you get that way..LOL

    Okay gals, gotta run

    Good morning!

@TrishasTime, The words at the bottom of the chart INTENTIONAL CHANGE = RESULTS was from the woman, Pam who runs the WWover50 group on FB. She does a weekly video and said those words during her talk and I loved it so much I decided it will be my 2019 motto. :) I sure hope your pain gets better soon! I hate those mystery pains that you don't really know what is going on or why. :/

@theslightedgeforever, that is a good idea on how to use the 100-day journal. I just read Day 6 and really like, "Protect your program at all cost" I'm super frustrated right now so protecting what I know to do is vital for me. I will explain below. :/

@cbabie, so sorry about your temperamental Internet. That would make me crazy! I have a busy church day too. We have two baptisms this morning and I'm on that committee and then there is a business meeting after church to vote for the new budget. My husband is the Finance chairman and we are so ready to stop thinking about church finances for a few months! :# The beauty of the 100-day chart is that you set your own goals so your fasting shouldn't be a hindrance. You could use that as part of your goals and make those days off. <3

@gemwolf110, I once did a Zumba class. Super fun and great exercise! :)

Well, I'm so frustrated this morning! I stepped on the scale and I'm up almost 2 lbs and it really makes no sense. I have been on my plan since the 1st and my weight keeps bouncing up and down and doesn't seem to want to go down and stay there!! :# I started back to exercising on 12/31 and haven't taken a day off since and I've added some light weight lifting on a couple of days. That could cause me to retain fluid. I've had a couple of dinners that were high in sodium. Last night was a BBQ chicken pizza and the cheese and BBQ sauce are high in sodium. Then I got to thinking about the amount of artificial sugar I consume. Yesterday, for instance, I had 2 cups of coffee, 2 bottles of ICE sparkling water, and a cup of herbal tea. All of it had artificial sugar. So, I don't know! I'm going to cut the ICE today and try to flush my body with plain water with lemon. I'm not getting on the treadmill and instead, we will take the dog for a walk since today is gorgeous. And I will eat a very low sodium dinner for the next couple of days. What are your thoughts? :/

@its_cleo I go back and forth between checking the scale once a week and checking the scale once a day. If the scale numbers start bothering me when I am weighing daily, I switch to weekly. I have an Android phone, so I use an app similar to Happyscale (which is for Apple products), it's called Monitor Your Weight. I like it. I love my instant pot, it's a safer pressure cooker and helps me cook quicker. :)

@TrishasTime Morning! Thank you, I will let you know what I hear. re: the menu...I need variety. I wish I could be someone that could eat the same thing multiple days in a row, but I just can't. That would make things so much simpler! I hope your pain goes away soon. Do take care of yourself.

@theslightedgeforever it sounds like there were some positives that came out of your Friendsgiving for Christmas. That's great! And to put salad on your plate at a holiday event is fantastic, that is something I never do and would celebrate. :)

@Numer1ca I did Noom for about 2-3 months. I didn't have a good experience, it may have partially been my fault. I hope you have a better experience. I found that my goal specialist wasn't very attentive and just seemed to be doing the minimum. I got behind on reading the articles because I had a sour feeling towards my goal specialist, and then found it impossible to catch up. I wish you the best with Noom.

@cbabie good luck with your fast.

@gemwolf110 I love mine. Use it all the time.

@TeresaW1020 I have the same problem, my weight is up and staying there. Of course, when I look back over the past 7 days in MFP, I was over my calories 4 out of 7 days, that may have something to do with it. :( When I am trying to get rid of bloat, I drink lemon, cucumber water with some mint leaves in it (it's delicious--- try it!). It really helps. Drink LOTS of that, that may help. I think your plan makes sense.

Hi all. It's meal prep Sunday. Going to put my chef's hat on in a little bit and get cookin'. I hope to have some time today to go for a nice walk, although I've got a lot to do today.

Just a short post today- thanks for the feedback on the scale. It sounds like everyone is different, I check when I go to the gym but sometimes I react negatively no matter what it is. ie if it's down I think I can eat more.

I did do the stair. I'm lucky bc it has been pretty mild here, I thought they would be covered with snow by now but it hasn't been that cold. (I live in Toronto, Canada).

@TrishasTime the arm sounds sore! I wouldn't push it until it feels better. Does it hurt to walk? Maybe something gentle like that.

@TeresaW1020 that sucks, sorry to hear that. I don't pay much attn to sodium or sugar so I'm not much help. I mostly drink water, and coffee with no sugar- though I love my cream!

I realized on ww I was eating below my BMR a couple of days and that made me panick a bit, as I don't think it's a good idea to do that. It wasn't deliberate. I guess it's normal to seesaw a bit in the beginning.

Anyway I'm off to drag myself to the gym even though I do not want to go! I treated myself to two squares of Lindt dark chocolate today.

@Numer1ca That’s what they should develop....something to make us do the stuff we already know. I know it has to come from within but.......

@cbabie. Go ahead and print out the 100 day challenge. You can have one of your goals be follow my food plan. That would cover fasting. Then when you stop fasting you can follow your other plan be it points or calories.

@gemwolf110 That’s great that you and fiancé are working together on your health journey. That makes it so much easier. That Real Appeal sounds good.

@TeresaW1020 I had the same thing happen to me which is why I don’t put a lot of stock in the scale. It’s just data. Then finally it came back down. If it stayed up then I would have to investigate a bit. Am I measuring my food? Am I really tracking every bite? Am I burning more calories through exercise than I eat? And on an on. Just keep concentrating on your habits and making good choices. I figure my body likes being the way she is because she has been that way for so long. She doesn’t want to change. So she resists me at every turn. Planting a little cravings in my thoughts. Holding onto some water so the scale goes up But I will beat her this time.

@trooworld So tell me about those 4 out of 7 days over calories. For each day How many and looking back at your tracker what could you have eliminated or reduced Like for me the day I was over 348 cals, I could have left off the slice of cheese, or used my sandwich thins. I could have had 1/2 my dessert and no whipped topping. I could have said no to the second glass of iced tea No to the peach Apple drink and instead drank water. Coulda shoulda woulda.

@its_cleo just keep trying out different timings with the scale and see what works for you. I’ve done the same thing. “Oh I’m down two lbs this little extra won’t hurt me. I could still lose one lb this week which is my goal”. Stinking thinking. Then I end up gaining that week. I’ve played so many games through the years. Time to get down to business. I love Lindt chocolate.

I had a good day. Met all three of my goals.

@theslightedgeforever That's the great thing about tracking: I can look back and tell you these things! :) Here's where last week went wrong:
    • NYE: I had 913 cals worth of snacks + I was already having a calorie-laden day thanks to heavy appetizers for the night
    • Tues 1/1: No snacks that day, but my breakfast was 499 cals and my lunch was 885 cals (because I have leftovers for lunch the next day, I'm always shot in the foot twice lol)
    • Thurs 1/3: More of that 499 cal breakfast + homemade pumpkin bread from a friend at work (150 cals) + an Rx bar in the afternoon (210 cals) added to my already figured out day = trouble
    • Fri 1/4: I didn't bring my breakfast and I stopped at...Carl's Jr! (1,070 cals!) + 890 worth of afternoon snacks

That's how it went. It was a combination of things, but a lot of times, it was snacks. It was also I wasn't drinking enough water. I've had good days since Friday though.

    Morning,
My computer still is not up...I can’t stand this. So I will try to answer as many pesonals as I can. I want to first say for the 21D fast, I have changed my way to do this fast at least for this week. I am doing the Daniel Fast, but not eating lunch...that is my time to pray. I also start the water challenge today with my oils group. I don’t like the water, that is in the challenge, but I will challenge myself to drink my 106ozs today.

@trooworld I am proud that you can post what you have had since 12/31...great job..we can’t change what we don’t know.
@theslightedgeforever my printer has no ink, but will try to get that fixed as you are right, I need a visual.
@its_cleo Great job on dragging yourself to the gym..sometimes we just have to do that to get our routine to be a routine. LOL
@TeresaW1020 You know you got this...don’t let the scale hold you in bondage...My word this year is freedom....break the chains from the scale...you know that if you keep on doing what you know to do...it will show..sometimes those little gremlins as I call them try to discourage us and we just have to stomp on their little heads...lol
@gemwolf110 You are doing great on the tracking!!! It will show up and bless you!!!

Okay I have to run get ready for my day at the church...

@trooworld That’s good you have turned your ship around. So how are you going to fix the snack problem? What will your strategy be?

@cbabie in the meantime while you wait for the printer ink you can take a screenshot of the chart and make it your wallpaper so you see it constantly

Well that was quick. Now I have time to read.

Another good day of meeting my goals. It was a good thing I didn’t have my snacks and I ate lightly for breakfast and lunch because the Southern cook in me came out. Chicken drumsticks with green beans and bacon plus great northern beans and cornbread. I’m so glad I had enough calories left over because otherwise I would have went over. It was that good.

I did 50 minutes of exercise

@cbabie at least the water will help keep you full? Good luck! Sorry you are still having problems. I am glad I can post what I've had since 12/31, it's partially thanks to TeresaW1020's tracking challenge! :)

@theslightedgeforever I've bought some healthy snacks, but that's no guarantee that I'll stay out of the free food that comes in at work. I just need to beef up my "NO" power and say NO, I do not want xxx. Yesterday, I had 2 cookies and a piece of chocolate all because it was there and free. That sounds like a good dinner! I hope you enjoyed it.

Hi all. I'm so mad, there is something wrong with MyFitnessPal, I can't add my custom recipes to it. Every time I search for ingredients they aren't found. I emailed tech support but who knows how long that will take to get resolved? I tried to search for "Zuppa Toscana" in the database and nothing came up. :/ So, I will track on paper until I can input it into MFP. I do want my stickers on my calendar!!! I'm getting @TeresaW1020's cold over here...it started yesterday, sneezing and runny nose and today, it is getting worse. I predict that by tomorrow, I'll be home on the couch.

    Hello!!

@theslightedgeforever, sounds like you are working your plan and doing great! Doing 50 minutes of exercise definitely helps to balance out that yummy dinner you made.

@cbabie, Yes, you need more water! I try to get in a gallon and to do that I have to start first thing in the morning and stay on top of it throughout the day. This morning I read an article that you might find interesting. It will work very well with the Daniel fast. https://www.womansworld.com/posts/h3o2-gel-water-diet-168246?fbclid=IwAR3QA-uQpB-MKsvWxEpa2-tFPZ3ecZo9J_u94mxAIWW-gNQ7lXGxeTA8CnU

@trooworld, bummer about the MFP not working right. I hate when that happens!! So sorry you are getting a cold!! Take care of yourself and I hope it runs it course quickly. <3

Well, I've been running all day! I went back to WW this morning after no weigh-ins for the last 2 weeks and I was up exactly one pound. Not to bad considering how much I ate and that I was sick for most of the time. I'm really hoping this week will be better and I will get some weight off and stop this bouncing around that my body has been doing. After WW, I went and got my hair done and then it was off to Hobby Lobby and Walmart. Our sun is gone and it's going to get cold again. Ugghhhh!! :#:'(

@trooworld So how can you arrange it so you don’t see the cookies and chocolate. Are they sitting on your desk? One of the lessons this week in 100 day challenge was if someone tempts you with food respond with ok I’ll have some in a little while. Maybe once a week allow yourself a treat and enjoy a cookie. Eat a couple of Hershey’s kisses. That’s only like 44 calories There are lots of ways to work yummy snacks into your plan. Just not all the time. Bring a thermos of hot water and a mug and keep packets of sugar free hot chocolate in your desk. Years ago I followed an eating plan and every day when they said 1/2 c milk I ate one of those SF choc pudding cups. I lost 21 lbs in 3 months because I found something to substitute for goodies. I hope you feel better.

@TeresaW1020 Day 7 I think it was talked about I can do it. Yes you can do it. What reasons did you give yourself. I can do this 100 day challenge because......I can lose 1 lb every 10 days because......
One of my answers was because if I don’t then I will get diabetes or cancer and die. Or because if I don’t then worse than death is having my foot cut off because of diabetes complications or being paralyzed from a stroke.

@its_cleo Hooray on your loss. One week down and onto concentrating for this week. You made good choices this week it seems. Seems everyone is sick. Plus computer problems don't help

I stayed within calories and got in a 15 min walk. It’s one of my rest days.

    Morning all,
I still have no computer, but they say where there is a will there is a way. I am doing better on the fast than I thought I was going to do, based on my emotions, but God is good.

@trooworld I had to laugh when you said I want to get my stickers...I could just “see” you stomping your foot down as you were saying that.! LOL. I am glad to see you headed back in the right direction. Sorry about your MFP...

@TeresaW1020 I will look at that link you sent...always love learning new info! Congrats on only the lb...it’s really because in your heart, you are getting healthy and that comes out almost without thought in all we do. I am a believer that whatever a man/woman thinks in their hearts...LOL

@its_cleo congrats on the loss!! Great job...I too hate comp problems...as we all know. LOL. Good job on staying in your calorie goal!!!

@theslightedgeforever I can hear your voice as you were talking about why you are doing the 100 day challenge...it sounded so dismal...I know we all have our own reasons for getting healthy...of course mine is not to die like my parents, but Now I am thinking how about so I am in good enough health to ENJOY my GGD...

@TeresaW1020 Well they finally fixed it and I backtracked everything I ate. I’m glad it is fixed. I hope this cold runs its course quickly, too! That’s good you only gained one pound. You will have that off in no time!

@its_cleo Sorry you aren’t feeling well either. Congrats on the loss, well done!

@theslightedgeforever The chocolates are in my office in my cupboard and in my officemate’s cupboard and sometimes in the breakroom (really, they are all over the place) and the cookies are in the breakroom. I like “I’ll have some in a little while.” I need to tell myself that too. I don’t need to bring a thermos, there is hot water and hot chocolate there in the other break area along with coffees and teas. Thanks for your advice.

@cbabie I’m glad you are doing well on your fast. Yes, I want those darned stickers!!! ;)

HI all. Okay, I’ve been up since 4am and I usually get on here then but I just didn’t have the energy to do so. I’m feeling so crappy. I stayed home from work. My head is pounding, I’m stuffed up yet my nose is running (?) and I just want to die lol. I hope I’m better by Sunday because I bought tickets to see the King Tut exhibit in LA and am supposed to go with a friend.

@trooworld hope you're feeling better. Are those cookies at work? My last workplace was terrible that, they binged on junkfood all day. I finally had to make a rule for myself that I simply wouldn't eat any junk food at work. I would just tell people that, and they got it. They were all youngish so could eat tons and tons and not gain weight. S

@cbabie I relate to the computer problems, hope you get it sorted out. Mine- I don't know what's wrong with it. If it acts up again I will do factory reset and and if that doesnt work I may need a new one. Frustrating bc it was expensive and only 2 yrs old but I have always had a lot of problems with it.

I am feeling a little better and have a better handle on ww system. Ironically, I am having a hard time eating enough. Whenever I cut out junk food and stuff like muffins, etc., I end up not eating enough. I try to eat healthy but I can only eat so much chicken and salad, so then I end up undereating. But it's only been a week so hopefully with time I will balance out.

@theslightedgeforever good trips with the treats. I bought a big chocolate bar, one of the dark chocolate ones 85% cacao, and every few days I might have a square or two. Normally I would eat half a chocolate cake, or half a thing of Hagen Daz.

    Take care all.
