    Sodium Bicarbonate. Dun dun dun.....

One of my favorite pancake recipes has both sodium bicarbonate AND buttermilk in it.

    Instant. Death.

Admit it, you died years ago. No other possibility.

Oh my, was it a dwarf necromancer that brought her back?
Sometimes I wonder how many people might was well be zombies. Their diets, both physical and mental, leaving them the equivalent of walking dead.

    It's true.

Milk is good for baby cows. First word... baby.. milk is for babys are you are not a baby.... second word cow... you are not a cow.
But moving away from simple logic. Just check out nutritionfacts.org for all the health problems related to consuming dairy

Seeds are meant for birds. Are you a bird?

Bananas do not naturally grow in Illinois. Therefore, how could they be meant for people who live in Illinois? It's unnatural!

Or maybe living in Illinois is unnatural.

Yup. Lincoln was born in Kentucky. He was an invasive species even in his own "Land of Lincoln."

    bad for you

& especially for the calf and mother cows

That depends where you get your milk from. I buy local (the farm is 30 minutes from me), organic, grass fed milk.

In general dairy cattle are treated quite well - probably among the most pampered of farm animals. Better treated cows produce more milk per cow, and the milk is of better quality.

Have you ever heard a cow cry for days after her calf was taken away? They are kept in a constant state of lactation and are genetically modified to the point where their utters are so large that they could not even walk. How do you come to the conclusion that they are generally treated well?

And then they do these kind of mutations to them too for meat:

That cow is more jacked than 98% of MFP users. I want his stack.

That's a Belgian Blue and their extreme muscling is due to a completely natural mutation which allows them to develop more muscle than typical cows and also inhibits fat deposits which is why they look so lean.

Bah! I refuse to accept that a natty can be so jacked! He's gotta be on the juice! Am I Redditing right?

It comes from a lack of Myostatin.

Lack? That doesn't even make sense. You're claiming there is a chemical in the body that naturally keeps you from getting more muscles. Monsanto should come up with better stories when they're making these things.

    That's what he's saying. And he's right.

There were native Americans here long ago. Surely you aren't calling them unnatural. Maybe the mammoths (or whatever) should have built a HUGE wall over the Bering land bridge. Those on side with humans could have paid for that wall.
