KJ - Sounds like you have a busy day! Sorry if it seemed like I was implying he isn't a good man, he can have his little "tiff" about it, I was just saying he should keep it to himself and that sounds like it's exactly what he's doing with the silent treatment. At least he's not going on and on about it. Silence can be golden! So please, no offense was intended. I'm glad you have given the tattoo lots of thought as I have seen too many of my friends get one on a whim and not like it later on and some of them have ugly scars from getting them removed, in the past. At least you are getting something small, simple and hidden. I wish you luck with your repeat mammo, it's probably nothing, they may just want a different view of something they saw in the other one. But I will keep my fingers crossed for you. And that's great about the crazy pants and funky tops! I only have a few funky tops and some embroidered jeans. The rest of my clothes are pretty "normal" and subdued to hide all the flab, lol! If I wear anything too colorful I look like a giant beach ball! Lol!
It rained so hard here last night I developed a small leak in the passenger side front window. So I called a handyman to come out this morning and take a look since the window is so high off the ground and I am only 5'4" and can't get on a ladder. He said the window gasket was partially blocking the drain vent in the window frame, so he fixed it for me and now no more leaky leaky. Yay!
PT called yesterday and asked if I wanted the slot that came open today from someone cancelling. I jumped on the chance to get into PT a few days early, so I have an appointment at 3. I've been doing the "tippy toe" exercises she gave me but they are not helping so maybe we can try something different. Who knows, maybe she'll send me for a massage today! Woohoo! I might even suggest it!
Well, I should go eat some lunch before PT. You all have a great afternoon! Laters....

Tere, myson in law who is a complete techy person says the Dot would act like Alexa you just have to add your own speakers. I hope I said the right device in saying Dot.
Janetr, when I first had to go off work with my MS, I had to go on long term disability my hospital offered. I got that until I got my SSD. And yes, you get a nice check plus the back check from when I first went off work. But then the bad news came.since I was given back pay my LTD said they paid me and then SSD gave me a check for the same exact time. We knew that would more than likely happen so we just deposited the back check until the LTD insisted they be paid them back. My lawyer did step in and accomplish me not having to pay the whole thing back They settled on $4000 less than their original demand. And the lawyer did not ask for anything for his work. He said it was all part of him working with me for my denial of SSD and going in front of the judge. Wheeeeew.
It was last Wednesday that I called 3 companies too come and give us estimates on fixing our tiny bathroom. Guy #1 said he would send estimate in email, guy #2 said he would put it in the mail, guy #3 never returned a call to schedule an estimate. So today I made some 'tactful' phone calls. Guy #1 has two different phone numbers one from the company and the other his personal. Neither work. Guy #2 said they had a new employee and is taking a long time getting the estimates written up, will be mailed out tomorrow. Guy #3 finally called today and will come out Thursday. I also am scheduled with another guy on the same guy. I did tell ll these companies that I am very disappointment that they waited so long. I told them that I didn't think that people don't think it is worth it in doing a small job for seniors. I don't feel any better for being 'tactful'. I guess I should have used Becca's Chief's wife voice.
Katla, I saw a video of a storage area for under the stairs. It was 3 of those pull out doors you see being used in the kitchen. One tallest part of the stairs was a pull out for coats, 2nd one was for shoes and shortest for just odds and ends, maybe games, etc.

Brandy and Sasha how lucky are you to have Barbie once again taking you on long walks. Don't forget to give her lots of love pups
So glad you were able to get back to walking with your best buds Barbie!!! You are awesome.
Rainy dreary day that makes me feel all cozy. I Just finished making a beautiful vegan squash soup with butternut and acorn squash and coconut milk. I am experimenting so I can have vegan choices at t-day (day 2) family brunch, the guest list is expanding, oh joy!

I am so excited that I got to walk the dogs this morning for the first time since my surgery almost seven weeks ago.
Some of you know that last spring Brandy (our older poodle) had an access that was biopsied and they found cancer). The vet had no idea how aggressive it was or how long she might live. One of my great sadnesses about not walking the dogs was that Brandy would die before I could get back to walking her. The abscess is getting worse and we have an appointment this afternoon for Brandy to see the vet. I'm not writing a bad ending to this story but one of the facts of dog ownership is that dogs don't live forever.

Sorry to hear about your poocher1 -
SueBDew – In this area of the state (SWGA) it is against the law for people to pick up nuts that have fallen on the right-of-way (or under pecan trees whose limbs hang over the fence that surrounds the pecan trees. We occasionally still see people getting out of their cars to do so; but, if they get caught (without the permission of the owners) they are given a ticket (misdemeanor) and the nuts are confiscated. You do sell them to pecan companies for basically pennies on the dollar; and, then they charge $12 a lbs., seems quite unfair for all. Sometimes we buy some that are just 'cracked' and pick them out ourselves; other times we buy halves or chopped. Depends on what we are using them for. I make a 'mean' cream cheese pecan pie. It's rich; but, not nearly as 'sweet' as a regular pecan pie.
Sherry - I think tracking your food, helps you know where you are taking in more CI (calories in) versus CO (calories out). Some people eat back whatever their CO gives them to make the goal a higher number. I don’t. Unless I have 100 or more posts, I rarely read more than 2 days back. I think, since it has only been 2 days and you remember what you ate, personally, I’d go back and track it. You also need to track your exercise to have more CO. I make sure that I don’t use too many CO to eat back because it means that you probably are not staying a CI/CO ratio that will make you lose. Your MD ought to be the one who tells you things like what your calories in, should be and where you are on whether the weight falls into ‘normal, ‘over-weight’, ‘mildly obese’, ‘obese’, or ‘morbidly obese’. Find out what your BMI is and what it should be to be wherever you are most comfortable with.
If you are having a hard time keeping up with who posted want and want to respond to them, then the best suggestion is to open up a word processing program, minimize both, and put them side-by-side. This way you can start at your last post and work up. You cannot start posting and go back a page, you will lose all of it (or sometimes just part of it); unless you actually post that first; then you can either post what you have already typed; cut and paste if from the open WP and put it in the ‘yellow’ open box where you’d normally start typing, if you had read through all of them. Once you post something you have 1 hour to 'edit' it; in any manner, delete, add to, or correct something. There is a black gear that drops down and you have to click on the 'time' and then the color will turn back to yellow and you can do whatever you want to. Some days I just skip over to the most recent page, so I don’t have to go back and forth. You can add ‘color’ by simply typing in a ‘bracket’ then in lowercases letters type in “color”, then the “=” sign, then whatever color you want, then another bracket to close it. ... then it will show up as the color. If you don’t want the body of the post; then do the same, (after the name or whatever you want to show up in color) using ‘black’ as your color. All this, don’t use any spaces.
Throwing up food, voluntarily, is never a good idea; because it is bad for your throat as well as your teeth. It is bad enough when you have a ‘bug’ to deal with. Anorexics ‘think’ the weigh way too much - no matter how skinny they are, so they just don’t eat; bulimics make themselves ‘throw up’ as soon after they eat as they can. Both conditions are considered to be a 'mental disorder'.
Mary – Medical marijuana is legal in Georgia; but, MDs are having a problem to get the ‘oil; people can travel to a state where it is ‘legal and sold’; the House is ‘divided’ on this and it still is ‘against the law’ to possess it; and ‘illegal’ to grow it. So coming through states where it is not legal can really impose some strict consequences if you get 'stopped' and the police/sheriff, etc., find it. You could go to jail, spend a lot of money for attorney's fees, and have a misdemeanor or felony on your record.
Cheri – All we saw was that the moon was very bright. I can remember when we first moved out here 15 years ago, I was coming home; and the moon was as big as I had ever seen it; looked like the moon in “Moonstruck.” I definitely was ‘moonstruck’ by what I saw. I was huge and the sun had not yet gone down. There are “Harvest Moons”; and ‘some other moon’ that area every few years; but, this one the other night was called a “Super Moon” because it is so rare for the moon to come that close to the earth – and they come at much further intevals. I might not live long enough to ever see it again; but, I sure hope I do.
Ladies – I think I would only have ‘nipples’ tattooed on myself; but, that would only happen if I lost them due to ‘breast cancer’ and had my boobs reconstructed. Even then, I would have to ‘think’ long and hard. My DDnL#2 has her lips and eye liner tattooed on so they will show up; so she does not have to really worry about how she looks when she gets them done; but, there again, she has to travel across the state to have them done.
DYS does not want her to do it again. She says they mildly hurt a little. I think I would have to take something that would loosen me up. One woman that my DDnL#1 knows had a tattoo of a sun around her belly button; but, then she got pregnant ad it grew as she got bigger and bigger. She pulled up her shirt to show us. I wondered what she would feel like if her tummy did not go back to normal, making it look like the setting sun. LOL!
Becca – Oh Dear – I cannot imagine having a piercing on you nipple. They’d have to knock me out to do it; and, every time I see it has been done; I shudder!” My DDnL#1 had the inside fold of her eye pierce and it got infected and hurt for a long time, she might have even had it taken out. DOS was furious! She had heard that it helped with ‘migraines’; but, having an infected ear made them worse for a while. I don't even know if she still has it in.
RE – We have a scale; but, it isn’t consistent and it weighs heavy; so I just get weighed at my MD’s every 2 weeks. After a weekend of Women’s Retreat and fabulous food; I put on 3.5lbs; I am not happy with it; but, I really did not exercise this past two weeks to speak of. Today I walk 5,300 feet, walking the dog around the property; took me 1 hour and 25 minutes. For some reason, that doesn’t sound very far for as long as it took me to do it. I use a walking stick and take 4 steps for every time I put the stick down. I am in awe of the people walking 12,000 steps a day.
Joyce – We have one toilet that has a leaking tank; I want one that sits up higher in our MBR; take the toilet into the other bath; and, buy a ‘new’ toilet. I don’t want him to do it either, even ‘if’ he is capable; I want to leave that up to a plumber. I think he wants it, too. Neighbor that owns the land across from us is a plumber.
Sharon – I don’t think I have ever won things that I wanted until now. The cross is really pretty and dainty. Took my other necklace off; and, the cross sits right where it should for wearing all my tops.
Lisa – Tell your DD to turn the turkey breast side down when cooking it; it captures all the juices as they drain down. It just won’t be the big brown turkey you are used to seeing on the table; we cut ours as we take it out of the oven. It’s still brown; it’s just not tits side up.
KJLaMore – I love the music from my HS days – 1965 – 1969; after that the music seemed to get pretty ‘funky’. That’s about the time Janis Joplin came into the lives of my generation. I did not like her for several reasons. Went to ‘art school’ (late ’60’s and early 70’s) so I had to put up with a lot of ‘hippy-types’ and the religious freaks dancing on the sidewalks and trying to talk to you. Dressed in flowing pants, usually pastels. I don’t even remember what they were other than they were freaky. Shaved heads, flowing clothes.
Tere – I like Moscato wine … what is ‘flip flop wines fizzy pink Moscato’???
Michelle – So I ‘think’ what my sisters and I were doing was ‘correct’; highest double in the middle; then we worked out our train (one in front of us) out as far as we could; then, the play started on a rotating basis; anybody could start one of the 4 other trains if they had the number of the double one in the center; anybody could play off them; but, we played that anybody could open up the double before any other play could be played. It was just left open for anyone to play off it. Trains only went on the 3 or 4 (depending on number of people playing); like when you could no longer able to play your own individual train. If the turn came around to you and you could make a play anywhere; your train came off. When it was ‘off’ nobody else could play your train. If you put down a double on your individual train; but, could not open it; you had to draw that number before you could take your train off. Actually, how we played was that someone had to play that closed double BEFORE anybody could play on any of the other trains (up to 8 slots). The lady who was giving us ‘tips’ about the ‘right way’ to play it said that some MT’ers were quite protective and somewhat vicious when it came to playing with them. I don’t want that type of set-up. We were just playing for ‘fun’ and not for ‘money’. I played a 2-person MT game with one of the younger women. Nice way to sit and talk and get to know one another.
Barbie – Sorry about your dear ‘fur baby’. It’s hard when you know things are not going well. We’ve always had ‘smaller’ dogs and were told that they normally live longer than bigger ones.
God Bless!
Lenora

Hi ladies....wonderful reading about you! My name is Marilynena and I live in sunny California! I am so tired of going to the Doctors for innumerable tests and they still cant diagnose me. I feel so weak and tired...next week I am scheduled to see an oncologist. Meanwhile I will enjoy my garden and my goal for November is to set an alarm to ring every hour to remind me to drink water! Will make sure I eat my greens for breakfast lunch and dinner. And most important get at least 7 hours of sleep a day! Take care of yourselves and have a fun day!

To all my dear friends that live in the southeastern states, so far I have decided I want to move to Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and now North Carolina. I may have to take Jack's suggesion and go full time RVing and split my time. I love them all.
Our RV park in Swannanoa NC by the Swannanoa River. We have our "own" little patio. Life is grand

We've already been thru all of that, and we did have to give all the back pay to the insurance company, but Jack is still getting LTD payments from his company insurance plus SS disability to give him an income of 60% of his previous annual salary (he was flying for a air freight carrier). What I mentioned this morning is disability from the military as he is retired military after 23 years in ths Air Force. He was exposed to agent Orange at several air strips in SE Asia during the Vietnam Era. Some of his medical problems now are most likely due to that exposure. Not only will we not owe any of the retroactive payment to anyone but if Jack predeseases me, I'll receive half of that monthly disability until my death. This has nofhing to do with Social Security, this is from his military service.

Lisa - the light's at the end if you hat tunnel. Woowhoo! For part-time!
Barbie - so sorry to hear about Brandy
Heather - good progress!
Hubby had the day off so we had lunch out and did some shopping for Christmas charity project. Got my door, held my hand, and insisted on lingering over lunch because he was enjoying the company and conversation.
I'm working tonight. Doing some extra shifts.

Hello, Darling Dames;
Well, NSV for the day: I am wearing one of the “too small” shirts I got at K-mart... a deep teal color, with an interesting texture that shows off my curves... and I am wearing a pair of 16-18 pants from the regular ladies dept – rather than from the Women’s plus size area. There IS a size difference... so, I am feeling a little sparky today. Not sure, it may also have to do with the copious amounts of caffeine I have had, today...
I tried doing the Mirror Selfie thing – but, alas, my hands shake so badly I can never get a decent shot. I guess I will have to wait for another day when someone else can catch a picture.
Not much else to report, today... another Arm day at the gym. I am pathetically weak in my upper body – so, I am struggling with 30 lbs on my shoulder press and my bicep curl... I figure it will be a while until I can raise the poundage on those two exercises. My Row and Lateral Pulls are better – so, I have some small hope for my poor weanie arms. Maybe someday my Baby Biceps will grow into big strong muscles....
))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Sherry/PDX - All this talk of piercings... *shudders* I can’t even imagine. That area is sooo sensitive. I wouldn’t want to hurt the girls that way! And I am glad that there is at least ONE neighbor that is friendly. I hope you two will be good friends. You can never have too many of those. So glad the window leak was an easy fix.
Becca - Ah the classic Sunday Comics wrap – very colorful and fun! You girls went way more “Wild West” that I ever did... I just have a boatload of ear piercings. I have NO pain threshold.
Margaret – ((Hugs!!)) Sorry for all the trauma... but so glad everyone is ok. Nice that the window can be fixed by just replacing the glass.
Joyce – So glad you got to chat with your girls! And I am with you – I did one bathroom this weekend – I have another to do on Saturday... *sigh* Too many things need fixing in my albatross of a house. SO want to sell it and move.
Gloria – You were right to say “no.” It’s the one word we women tend NOT to use enough. Glad the boys are feeling better and hope their Mom gets her *kitten* together, soon.
Carey – ((Hugs!!)) Made this week for your November Tai Chi Goals! Whoot!
Janet – Always nice to see the shock on people’s faces, isn’t it? Gratz! Gorgeous Pictures! Loving too many states... hmmm. Is there a State-anon?
Katla – Thanks! Slow is the hardest part. And great work on getting the storage space built. You can NEVER have too many closets! And if DH insists on wiring a light – oh well – you will just have your battery LED as back-up.
Heather – So glad all is going well with the scanning. And Thanks!! I can only hope to look as fabulous as you do, some day in the distant future.
Sharon – Thanks! Have you got ink? I have yet to think of anything that I particularly want on my body for the rest of my life – but, I am not opposed. Again, zero pain threshold – so that has been a concern, too. I suppose the most likely tattoo for me would be Eyeliner!
Lisa – I am so glad that you have the part-time thing happening, soon! You need a break. ((hugs!!))
Allie – I am glad Homer is doing better – but, I hope you get a breather, sometime soon.
Pip – You and Kirby! So darned cute! It’s wonderful that you two finished the race together – even when you needed to walk.
KJ – Thanks! I really am psyched about the whole thing. “Carpe Diem” is a fabulous thing to have... Certainly something that will still apply when you are in your 80’s or 90’s. Nice. My version of June would also swear. LOL.
Lillian – Sorry your tablet has the munchies... has it been to visit Mary or Sherry? LOL.
Kate – Hope you are having a grand time!
Cheri – The moon has been huge, lately. I was looking at it last night... and that song always runs thru my head: The moon at night, is big and bright *clap* *clap**clap**clap* Deep in the heart of Texas....
Rita – Rock on with your bad self, Miss Rita! Meeting those goals!
Katy – Hello! Exercise is the bomb! And playing with a two year old is probably going to contribute to that exercise, too!
Tere – Aw, I hope you feel better, soon! Enjoy the wine! Sleeping is a good thing.
Michele – Perhaps for Christmas this year, you can give Jess a few of those things that you always have to bring... her own gravy boat and such. Sounds like perhaps her house might become a Holiday Destination of choice – might as well make it easier on yourself.
Carol – Sorry about your Mom, Sweetie. ((Hugs!!))
Barbie – Fingers crossed for Brandy. ((Hugs!))
NYKaren – MMMMmmmmm. Butternut squash... you will have to tell us how that one comes out. Sounds great...
Lenora – I am in awe of the 12,000 step girls, too! I seldom get in more than 6 or 7 thousand... but, usually 2 or 3 thousand of those are on the elliptical – so, I think it evens out, a little.
Karen/VA – Have the pooches made a ransom request? Do I need to send steaks to get you released?
Marilynena – Welcome!
Toni - Your Hubby sounds like a keeper. Sounds like you had a great day!
))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
White Beans and Ham for dinner... saving the leftover curry for tomorrow so we can alternate meals. I don’t have to actually cook again until Friday.... WHOOT!
Hugs for Everybody!!

Heather: You are on a roll! You are getting so much done and I admire you for it. I'm glad your friend with cancer is going to get treatments. I hope they are successful beyond her hopes and expectations.
Gloria in WA: No one sick and no floods are two very excellent things. Yay!
Tere: The riding lessons are so good for me. I hope you're able to work them into your life, too. :flowerforyou:
Barbie: I'm so sorry that Brandy has cancer. I hope she can have some more quality time to share with you. (((HUGS)))
Tomorrow DH has an appointment with his MS Doctor and I'm going with him instead of to yoga. I hope for a good appointment for him. DH has done so much to improve his situation since the last time he went to see the doctor. I hope all his hard work is noticed. I think he is a walking miracle. He says he is tired. He is doing so much more than he did before that being tired seems like a natural consequence in my mind. I hope he gets some encouragement from the doctor.

A little past my bedtime, so just a quick hello. Bravos to those who are making headway with home improvement projects. Hugs to those who are navigating all the roadblocks and challenges of life. Gloria - you are so sweet! Thank you for the comparison to a butterfly, I was feeling more like an ugly moth coming out and learning to bash my face into that light bulb repeatedly (yes I went back and re - read what I couldn't follow yesterday). But I like the butterfly version better! I'm so sorry that mom didn't tell you the boy was sick! What a mess! I'm glad neither was sick this time. You're an Angel for letting them stay with you and your family. Yay, no flood!
Barbie - I'm so sorry to hear about your pup's problem. I'm glad you got to walk them today! And I'm glad the vet ok'd upping her pain med, I hate to see animals in any kind of pain. That's the best thing you can do taking one day at a time. My heart goes out to you and your pup.
Re - congrats on the NSV! I had one of those today too. I pulled out a heavy coat that I had bought last spring on sale that was a little too small, and when I tried it on before I left for PT I found that it fit! I could zip it up and had a little room to spare! It made me feel really good, but I can't wait to shop in something other than Plus sizes. Yay you!!!
Lenora - my nutritionist calculated my Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR - the amount of calories my body uses at rest to fuel all my body functions, etc) and set a calorie goal and a carb goal for me that I set in my food diary goals and as long as I stay below or right at my calorie goal before exercise, I will be doing OK. My BMI is sky high and I am clinically morbidly obese. As of my last weigh in I still have 142 pounds to lose to get to my ideal weight.
Carol - I'm sorry about your mom, hun. I know how hard it is, I lost my foster mom to cancer (she's the lady who gave me that "Just for today" poem I shared with you all). She was more of a mom to me than my "real" mom ever was, and I miss her deeply. So my heart goes out to you and I'm sending love and hugs your way.
The visit at PT went well. She gave me two new exercises (I won't bore you all with the specifics) and set me up for massage next week. I look forward to that. Well, time to put a movie in and relax and medicate. For those of you that want to learn more about marijuana try "Leafly" online or you can download the app. It's an excellent source of information about all things Cannabis related. Very educational!

That made me laugh, Barbie, you are so right. It has all been beautiful and I've enjoyed every minute of my "big adventure" but not sure I'm ready to trade rush hour traffic in some of these places for Oklahoma City's VERY light traffic. We are creatures of habit.
So sorry to hear about Brandy, love on her all you can for as long as possible. (((Hugs)))

I hope this works here I think it is worth sharing:
What Are the Lessons People Often Learn Too Late in Life?
1. Time passes much more quickly than you realize.
2. If you don’t take care of your body early then it won’t take care of you later. Your world becomes smaller each day as you lose mobility, continence and sight.
3. Sex and beauty may fade, but intimacy and friendship only grow.
4. People are far more important than any other thing in your life. No hobby, interest, book, work is going to be as important to you as the people you spend time with as you get older.
5. Money talks. It says “Goodbye.” If you don’t plan your finances for later in life, you’ll wish you had.
6. Any seeds you planted in the past, either good or bad, will begin to bear fruit and affect the quality of your life as you get older — for better or worse.
7. Jealousy is a wasted emotion. People you hate are going to succeed. People you like are going to sometimes do better than you did. Kids are going to be smarter and quicker than you are. Accept it with grace.
8. That big house you had to have becomes a bigger and bigger burden, even as the mortgage gets smaller. The cleaning, the maintenance, the stairs — all of it. Don’t let your possessions own you.
9. You will badly regret the things you didn’t do far more than the things you did that were “wrong” — the girl you didn’t kiss, the trip you didn’t take, the project you kept putting off, the time you could have helped someone. If you get the chance — do it. You may never get the chance again.
10. Every day you wake up is a victory.
Bonus: It’s never too late to become what you wanted to be or might have been if you start now.

Janetr – Now in Swannanoa, NC – Beautiful view! I’d have to build up a ‘lot of courage’ … not so sure that I could have my eyelids tattooed without a little “Jack in my coke”; and, I don’t even ‘like’ Jack or 'coke' (haven't had one in 2 years). I’d have to have something that would basically calm me down so that my eyelids would close and I would not even ‘feel’ it. DDnL#2 says the first time is rather expensive. If I had to choose between lips or eyes … I’d probably choose lips; I tend to lick off my lipstick within an hour of putting it on. In this order: lips, eyebrows, then eyelids. I try to ‘stain’ them; but, I have gotten one stain that turns very dark on me … even though it doesn’t look that dark. I use a lipstick brush to put it on. I’ve gotten a ‘little’ better with putting on eyeliner and just went to ‘brown’ instead of black, so when I put my shadow on, it doesn’t look quite as harsh. I still wear black mascara. I’d just like to do it so I would not have to listen to DH ask, ‘where is your make-up (or lipstick). I try to leave one in my console of my car. It doesn’t get quite as hot in there as it would anywhere else in the car. I’d only trust the person that DDnL#2 goes to. I’m not so sure I would trust anyone that someone I know had not already had it done. I need to have eyebrows, too. Mine are very thin and fine; but, look a lot better after I have had them waxed … looks thicker and more ‘in shape’.
Re – Whoo Hoo! Great NSV! I actually bought my first “S” and “size 10” of something. Got some cowboy boots today. My DH will probably flip out; but, they were on ½ price sale; could not resist. A couple of tops and a couple of dresses that I need. “Funerals” and weddings. White beans and ham sounds really nice. We’ve had a few days of ‘cooler’ weather; at night and early morning then it gets hot as Hades during day. Leave the house, dressed one way and then stripping down by 12 Noon.
Heather – One of my childhood friends is a breast cancer survivor (2x). This last time they did her chemo by giving her 4 pills; one every 2 weeks; and, after that, they could not find any cancer. It was something ‘new’. No sickness or anything. In fact, her twin sister said that she was actually ‘starving’ when they left after taking the pill at her MD’s office.
Katla – I have started going or meeting DH whenever he has an appointment with his MDs; after the incident of the Urologist putting in a catheter in him ‘without’ putting him asleep; I don’t want that to ‘ever’ happen again. The 2 ‘new’ Urologists could not believe that his ‘old’ one did that to him. Of course, I am a HUGE proponent that all OB/GYNs (regardless of their sex) ought to go through having a mammogram; with maybe the men having to put their Johnson between the plates, then maybe they would be a little more ‘sensitive’ to how it feels if the technician is ‘rough’. I’ve had my share of that before.

Janetr- beautiful picture! I can hardly wait until my DH retires and we can go RVing! Do you belong to a Good Sams or anything like that?
Barbie - so happy that you were able to take the dogs for a walk! I hope that Brandy gets relief with the change in meds.
