I agree. It's really strange, she really knows how to pick em and it always ends in drama. This one though raises all kinds red flags from the get go. I told her it's crazy. I know it's her life but I am the one that has to listen to the shiznit for days on end when things go south and I am over it with the last one, that cheated and lied nonstop for 4 years and she kept taking him back. Every time there's issues at home her work ethic and work quality suffer, I am the one that has to deal with it. I don't wanna even begin to imagine how this one is going to go.
Sounds like she's afraid of being alone? Have you been upfront with her on all this?
Yes. So has her best friend. She claims to be independent and not need anyone but her actions are completely opposite.

How into celebrity culture one of my co-workers is, Its obnoxious how when I'm deep in thought or busy working on something and she interrupts me to show me a picture of Jessica Simpson sitting on a Louis Vuitton chair and its a big deal because she has NO IDEA Louis Vuitton made chairs and she really wants one for her bedroom now and Jessica looks nothing like herself lately, she has lost so much weight and she looked so awful when she gained all that weight, droning on and on about it and...

I was sitting beside a girl on the bus who I felt naturally attracted to. And I'm annoyed that I didn't say anything. everyone can hear everyone on the bus... that's an awkward problem
The awkwardness is that self imposed line you have erected for self preservation . Most people on buses zone out as you're only too aware.3 -

I had a friend in LA who'd met this teen girl who had cime from the midwest. Two months later they planned their wedding - like super fast, no prelims. She wasn't pregnant. They are still married 11 years later with 2 children. They seem happy. Age gap: Him at the time - 36 years to her 19 years.
* And she was the one coming of her longtime relationship with her high school sweetheart.
It can happen.

Is it still a valid complaint that our children are growing up in a society of exploit and Barbie doll unrealistic expectations when most people havent taken an unfiltered candid pic of themselves since the smart phone was invented?
We gifted our friends daughters with
Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Instant Cameras, as an experiment to see their reactions to real time printed, no frills through apps photos.
They are aware of the fixups/modifications apps and photoshop or gimp allows, as an add-on, and use them as artsy gamey tools. Almost all of them are proud of their polaroidesque photos, although they did share with us that some of their friends dislike our gift as it makes them look bleh. Thankfully, our friends daughters are oblivious to anyone who disfavors their tech, even if it is reminiscent of old tech.
