We're good friends, but I just can't shake that look out of my head.
I think I understand what you’re saying. But how could he not notice your ring?
Guys!
It's not a small ring either.

Why does it have to be that the ring is noticed to signal this? Would be cool if someone's marital status were confirmed prior to the development of a work husband/crush type relationship. Sounds like leading on to me. That burden should be on the one who is kept.7 -

I would be showing off that ring with pride and I probably talk too much about my boyfriend for someone to think I'm single and have a disappointed look on their face 🤷♀️5 -

You're making assumptions. there's nothing wrong with friend husbandry at work, and is no way meant to be taken seriously. It's not like we hang out with each other outside of work, date, or I take off my ring. I never hide the fact that I'm married. I didn't bring my husband in casual conversation if I was trying to hide the fact that I'm married. If I did, then I would call that misleading.
Why does being friendly have to be anything but that?
That's the whole, "she deserved it" mentality.
