I had this intermittent mouse left-click problem on my pc, I tried everything to fix it, re-installed drivers/restart pc, and nothing was working. The actual solution was to get a new damn mouse.
Yep, my dh had to do the same thing. It was his touch pad that just stopped working and wow, does he ever get frustrated; don't even want to be in the same house when things like that happen. He was ready to buy a whole new computer. Then some smart person spoke up and said buy a mouse. Huh. Problem solved.
