I also think it tastes like soap.... but I like soap.

OMG your one of those 😑

    One of what? 😁

How could you hate cilantro? 😂

The first time I tasted cilantro was in a meal prepared by a friend of my mom’s. I had never had it before (that I was aware of) so it looked like any other little green fleck, I didn’t really notice it visually. But while eating I was like omg this lady must’ve washed the dishes and forgot to rinse 😱. It was an overwhelming dish soap taste. I looked around and everyone else was being polite so I choked it down. Later I asked my mom if she tasted the dish soap and she was completely baffled. It was soooo strong I didn’t think it was possible to miss it.

This friend of my mom’s loved to cook so we had more meals of hers and they ALWAYS tasted like dish soap, it was the worst. One time she mentioned how much she loved cilantro and she put it in everything, and having never heard of it, I googled it. I saw that there’s apparently some genetic thing that causes some people to taste dish soap when they eat cilantro. I was stunned

Noooo! That’s what people who don’t like cilantro say.🙄 It’s just not.....good. The pico tastes like salsa. The chicken, blah. The fajita veggies are soft and kinda mushy. Also, paying for guacamole?? I should have driven the extra few miles.

EXACTLY!! Thank you for seeing things my way. For once.

    Hahaahaha.... "for once"

    awesome ~ <3

Okay here is the clincher... Was the salsa hot?
Also, do they warm the tortilla?

    @CacoEther

How do you feel about black licorice?

I've been Mexican literally my whole life... Granted I'm not the best example of one but 🤷🏽‍♂️...

I've never ate anything homemade that contained chipotle... I think it's a bit of a hoax 🤷🏽‍♂️

No tortillas dude. I’m all healthy and stuff you know? I don’t even usually get rice. I tried their cauliflower rice. I couldn’t even taste it. I don’t think the salsa is at all hot. But what I wanted it to taste like was pico. It’s not a huge request. I think both places warm the tortilla tho.

If the salsa isn't hot it's just not good Mexican... Wait, you're from WI... It's not good Mexican food regardless 🤷🏽‍♂️😂

When i was in madison we went down state street and i was shocked at the variety of places you could eat. No chain restaurants in sight but there were vietnamese places and a vegan indian place and a french bistro and a place where you could get mac n cheese pizza (lol), etc and I was surprised by how culturally diverse it was.

Edit: i was surprised not because i had any preconceptions about WI. I was surprised because I don’t get out much

    The right answer is Dean.

But this is tough because JDM (dad) and Sam are super hot too. And of course the women are gorgeous.

Dean gets approx 10,000x hotter in the second season. After that it's just like take my money.

He is obviously the prettiest but the dad has one hell of a smolder.
Sam is like, father of your children material with the kind eyes thing he has.
Dean is that troubled pretty boy that you want to fix and love into submission.
Ol man is probably my favorite because he just has 'it'. Best of both worlds maybe.

Edited bc I decided that the description for ol man was a bit much.

Ol man is daddy full stop. 😐 Idk it's like I need a spanking or something. Idk it's like puppy eyes but with experience and a wry smile. 🤪

Interesting tidbit about dad - he somehow looks like he could be their father but was in actuality only 12 years older than dean at the time of filming.

He basically got supernatural and Grey's anatomy and then his career really took off.

Also, about said walk: I could see one house decided to start "festivities" early because I COULD SEE THEIR HOUSE FROM BLOCKS AWAY due to the sheer amount of lights they had up. All colors, all over the place, concurrently. Like a light demon threw up on their house.

I get "Christmas spirit", but damn... it's not even Thanksgiving yet!

Im one of those this year.🤷‍♀️why the hell not

No, Bobby. And the show will make you hate yourself for liking him at all later on. :(

Why is the process of taking care of oneself oftentimes so daunting? I'm realizing there are a lot of minor things I need to work on in addition to just "eating better and exercising". I can't even get a handle on one, so how am I going to tackle all of the others in a lifetime that's already more than 1/3 over?

Look at it this way.....all you need to do is get control of one thing.....your mind. Every single thing after that will become a by product of that. Its just a process of setting up small victories over your mind everyday.....dont hit the snooze button....win.....do just one thing a day you dont want to do but should......win. Thise things tend to snowball into lots of positives as you start feeling good about the small victories every single day.

I did a load of laundry this morning. Win.

I like this mindset.. I need to try it.
