I think it's cute when people say supper instead of dinner

    I say Tea ..

That's awesome! How do you differentiate between dinner (tea) and tea (the drink) I wonder?

Lol..I usually say Im going to have a cup of tea

If you say "whats for tea?" Everyone knows you mean dinner..
Dinner is sometimes said too but never Supper.
The first time I heard it called supper was by my ex Canadian mother in law

Cool! So fun to hear the different uses for common words!

Root(s) still makes me laugh so much! I will never wear my Roots sweatshirt again and think the only funny thing about it is the beaver logo!

I am Canadian, as you know, and I never say supper...it's dinner and 'tea' is a drink to me (and it is hot when you say tea, if it's cold it's 'iced tea'!)

I say supper or dinner, depending on whatever my brain decides to say that day.

I always wondered what the difference is for people saying 'supper' and 'dinner'....maybe it's just your family and friends?

    Always dinner to me!

In parts of the US, I've heard people call their midday meal "dinner". Blew my mind for awhile when I would hear people call lunch "dinner"

Isn't supper actually a different meal than dinner entirely, like before or after dinner...

Where I'm from, only rich people use supper... Everyone I know would accuse me of acting hoity toity if I said supper lol...

Why do so many people want to know where I live? As if being in the same state means we have some shared interests.
    But where do you live?

I don't know why anyone calls it pop, when labels clearly call them soda.
Sprite: Lemon-lime soda, Orange Fanta: Orange soda, etc. Do people who love to be wrong call cream soda "cream pop"?
