What's on your mind?

Omg Dude... I've been listening to this great courses audio lecture and this guy basically just said that...
Consciousness is nothing more than various brain wave spikes lining up together at 40hz oscillation...
I have no clue what any of that means but I feel so reduced 😂...5 -
Trying to make up my mind if I want to see "In The Heights" or "Jungle Cruise" tomorrow. Any recommendations?0

No ads at all, that’s why I originally started paying long, long ago.1 -

I’ve decided that except for trimming the ends occasionally, I am going to let my hair keep growing until it drives me crazy.
This is the longest it’s been since I was in grade school,
We’ll see how long I can get it, it’s about 3” above my rump.3 -

Ooh would love to see a picture! I've always wanted to have Crystal Gayle long hair but mine isn't healthy enough.
Jungle Cruise was the movie I was leaning to. I don't care for musicals as much but everybody says the movie is as excellent as Hamilton was, which I haven't see yet but everybody raved about.
Whichever one we go to will be wonderful because hey, free movie, free coffee....what's not to like??3 -

I don't cook.
This is sorta related to my story.
(Also tldr because this turned out long and why do people tldr at the end anyway?.....I'm missing a part.)
There's this (I call it low rent) Japanese place near me called Yoshinoya and in my pre diet days, I'd be all over their beef bowl. I've been craving it lately so checked the website for calorie counts and the kids size was reasonable but I changed it to teriyaki chicken which was more reasonable. 😀
But then I realized I have a bag of frozen teriyaki chicken from trader Joe's in my freezer so, if I got some rice, I could make my own. So I bought some dry rice instead of already cooked because of the sodium.
Then I had to figure out how to make it.
Now, I have a rice cooker I got from a rewards program but I only wanted to make the bare minimum. Me and a lot of carbs at one time can't be trusted. It didn't seem like I could do that without it not being difficult to clean up so moved on to a smaller crock pot I bought when I was feeling ambitious or it was on sale or something.
But I had to clean it first. I put the still clean top aside and let the bowl part soak a bit.
Sooooooooo while it was soaking, I was checking out how to make rice again and saw it could be microwaved.
How could my non cooking *kitten* not think of that first?!?!
After the crock pot bowl thingy was dry, I was going to put it away and now I can't find the top. Anywhere. In my not so big apartment.
I even checked the bedroom.
So that crock pot top is on my mind.
And I still haven't made the rice. 😀

Abe agrees; you need more bikes.
Which is better, a new bike, or a new girlfriend ?
Both are fun, however...... unless your new girlfriend comes with a Pinarello frame-set, well........5 -

I have a super old bike I brought into the shop to get tuned up (had a flat tire, gear shifting issues) ... (I like it 'cause its light, and figured a tune up was worth more than buying a new one for as much as I ride it)
...the bike shop guys geeked out on it - how it was worth as much now as when I bought it, and the quality, and the fun to work on, etc - cool to know!4 -

The innuendos on this subject matter are endless so I'm not even gonna bother aha
I knew a girl who rode a Dogma... oh Jesus, that was a sensory overload situation.
This is what I'm eyeballing right now. Would be fit with Campy Chorus 11 and has threaded BB (Y).
and If Abe wills it...4 -

Must have been vintage or rare. I prefer the older frames, rim bikes and modern Road bikes are so over-engineered! But I do love me some electronic shifting.. I loved it when someone bought it something classic! I think its the same with cars nowadays. Old things, just tried and proven, ya know!5 -

That I probably will never post in any of the threads here devoted to body parts or being a mom. My body doesn't really fit the narrative and I don't have the courage nor self-esteem to post anything outside of a generic selfie these days.
And it has been that way my entire life. I think that just may be who I am at heart. I can wish with all my being to be someone else.. or to behave differently, but it just fundamentally goes against who I am.
I can contribute cute cats though.5 -
Now I'm thinking: Will I regret eating this? The answer is almost always "yes". Why do all the things that look so good in the store not live up to my expectations? Like, it looks so lovely in the bakery department, but I get it home, bite into it and it's like someone hit me upside the head with a sack of sugar. It's just SO SWEET.
But pizza and beer? Pizza and beer have never steered me wrong or lied to me about their flavors; I just wish they weren't so darn caloric.4 -
Cute cats is good 👍☺️2
