    * The non-functionality of parts of this website (I use it on PC, I'm aware the app apparently runs better).
    * The unusual appearance of a cat gang outside of my garage this AM when I returned home. Why were they here? Why so friendly? Who do they belong to and and why my home? They just sat there and waited for the garage door to open, completely unafraid of my car or me.

    My style of communication is very direct & sometimes comes off rude even when I don’t mean it that way. I just looked at a text i sent my boss yesterday & immediately apologized because I saw how it could be interpreted. He said, “meh, it’s just the Long Island coming out.” And I was so remorseful I didn’t tell him it was the Queens.

    I was thinking about the fact that our brain is not hard wired for life after childhood. It can change, reorganize neural pathways, etc. That is an exciting, hopeful thought for those of us who struggle mentally.
