Same reason Pooh wears that red shirt.
I always assumed that a bear named "pooh" who doesn't wear pants is kinda a gigantic warning sign when it comes to "Who are you gonna walk behind in the 100 acre woods"1 -

This past weekend my 13 year old daughter and her friend went to see "Happy Death Day 2" at the movies. She said the theater was totally empty except for another couple. But then she said this single, middle-aged guy came into the theater and sat RIGHT DOWN NEXT TO HER! There were hundreds of other seats and he had to pick that one? When she told me this I was incensed. What kind of grownazz man 1) goes to a PG13 teen horror movie by himself and 2) sits right next to two 13 year old girls?!? A *kitten* skeezeball pervert, that's who. After about 30 minutes she went to the bathroom and then came back and sat on the other side of her friend. Then after the movie she said he lingered and then finally followed them out of the theater when they got up. I wish she would have texted me because I would have driven back to the movie theater to ask him about it and it would not have ended well for him. *deep breath* Thanks, I had to vent about that.1

Sister-in law is having surgery and I was informed there was some complications. So, right now, she is on my mind.1

Ugh, not good. Hope she comes out of it with a successful surgery and no lasting negative effects0 -
The stupid irony of me giving my friends advice on their novels when I've never completed a novel of my own0

Thank you. Me too! I am stuck and work and really worried, so trying to keep my mind off of it unless I get a phone call.1 -
I’m thinking since this is only my 3rd post for me to reply to, it might seem kinda weird but here I go anyways 😉... My thoughts are that I should shower and get dressed and get on with my day. BUT I have a headache and all I want is chocolate and sex.... 🤷🏻♀️1

Does it help if you do something that will require enough focus to take your mind off things?1 -

Well it was quite generic. I tried. You can make it up to me in hugs.1 -
Having left over king cake for breakfast.
Actually I'd have it in addition to my breakfast.
*sigh*
I really need to reign it in because this donut belly isn't getting any smaller.1 -

It passed..........Fortunately. I was having a really bad day and I was sitting near a beer cafe waiting for my mother while she was shopping, and I just felt this sudden urge, but it wasn’t overwhelming though. I just felt what I felt, played it forward and then it went away. My drinking days are done. Sobriety is really the only thing I’m good at 😪

I'm sure it's not the *only* thing, and beyond that, willpower like that is admirable. Way to not give way to temptation!!0 -
The fresh mountain lion tracks we'd passed tonight on our way back home from our workout. Kinda strung out about it. Thankfully, the naughty teenage boys decided to light firecrackers as we'd all made our way back up the mountain to where our homes are ( our neighbors sons were amongst the set). I kept thinking, that should scare it away for a wee while. Chilling. They are rather large, gauging the paw prints size, next to my size 12 shoes. Eesh!1
