    @MLHC1;c-40154224]8/2 Wednesday JFT:
I'm keeping things simple right now because I have my 2nd Physics Exam Monday and my Final Exam next Thursday. Then this summer semester of school will be finished :D
    Stay positive and focused!!
So impressed that you are working so hard on your physics class; that is one tough subject, in my opinion.

    Recap R 8/3
    1) Log all meals / snacks and keep net calories w/i 100 of green = Red 86
    2) Stairs at work/home > 25 floors = 27 floors
    3) Catch up emails at work / make progress on current assignment = ok progress
    4) Complete > 3 items on to-do list at home
    5) Unwind 9:30 / bedtime & TV off 10:15 :( At least it's Friday / weekend

JFT F 8/4 a.m. raining again = no dog walk before work. Seems like I've spent the entire summer planning dog walks around rain forecast. Makes me grouchy. :s
    1) If rain stops as forecast, walk dog after work
    2) Keep net calories in green (need to meal plan & prelog more)
    3) Scan tax returns to financial advisor
    4) Practice mindful breathing in afternoon
    5) Bedtime by 11:00 / farmers market Sat. by 7:30 a.m.

No, but it looks interesting. I am perpetually in search of an organization tool that will really work for me. I know it is not impossible, I found MFP and I never would have thought logging would have been my thing.

Had to come back to read my goals for today.
    For Friday,
    1. Observe calories and go swimming early.
    2. Will not hassle the fiber goal. Refuse to think fiber.
    3. Fold laundry and try the dishwasher which should work but is not attached to anything.
    4. Bake meatloaf, eat some before work.
    5. Work 3-8
At 10 am, I have fibered enough this day (2), meatloaf is in oven (4), calories are looking good and will swim at noon taking boy to Y (1). I guess it is laundry and dishes now (3). Oh, I also have gotten down all my pills except one for lunchtime--no shots today because it is Friday! But, a downer, I do not see the yard getting mowed this day. Assuming I do not work tomorrow, hmm, maybe I can commune with the mower from noon to 3. Well, that's my musing for now. I WILL DO THE LAUNDRY NOW.

:# More follow up on resume nope - it was rescue daughter time
:# Vacuum carpets downstairs - see rescue daughter

Yesterday about four the daughter calls. She has been in ANOTHER car accident. This makes 6 and she is only 22. Seven if you count the near death incident in the friends truck where the road collapsed under them into a flash flood. She has been at fault in two. She was NOT at fault yesterday. So hubs and I go down to the big city and check everything out. The car can be driven. Hopefully the other persons insurance is good. If it's not she is driving around in a dented car. I am not putting it through my insurance. Grrrrrr!

    .....
At 10 am, I have fibered enough this day ......

I struggle to get enough fiber in my diet (which I know means I am not eating enough fruits and vegetables) but I found a help.

I love yogurt (Greek is the best!) I don't eat it everyday, but 3-4 times a week. I don't mind crunchy bits in the yogurt so I bought some Kellogg All Bran Buds and mix a serving in with my yogurt. It looks a lot like rabbit or chicken feed, but if you eat it plain I think it tastes a bit like plain cheerios.

    Just a suggestion.

    Right working now.
That's my page for this week, and my key for the bullets (there's only a couple on it)

    What do you all think!
I've found most ideas on Pinterest!
Which is where I get the ideas for designs/fonts/layouts etc.

    Goals for Friday
    - Log everything - just need to finish off this
    - 3-4 waters - no, probably should have a drink in a min
    - Take my meds (already done)
    - 5K steps, should be able to achieve this - in at like 4700, so close!
    - 15 mins exercise - get the girls in bed earlier!!! Did not get the girls in bed earlier well I did but my partner had bought her a care bear which you have to stuff it's arms legs and tummy and sew the tummy on (like a little project for kids). I regret saying I'd do it for her before bedtime
    - Take girls to the park (if there's time) there was no time again

Me and the family have been out into town the last few days, and I dunno if it's because I've been unwell or pregnant but I am exhausted.
It's only been a couple of shops but I think it's then the coming home, unpacking, then starting tea, then bathing the girls, then walking the dog then cleaning and I just can't do anymore.
Not even cleaned up after tea and I'm knackered!
Yet I've only done 4700 steps? That will just be logging outdoors as I tend to leave my phone on the side in the house.

Anyway girls at grandparents tomorrow and me and partner are going for a meal at pizza express so going to have to have a clean breakfast and dinner!! And exercise if I'm not too exhausted!!

    @joan6630;

What is a bird journal? Just curious - I love watching birds, especially hummingbirds. Do you record what/when you see birds?
Yes--that's it. In June I went on a trip to Colorado with the Audubon Society of western PA. We did seven days of intense hiking and bird watching. I "scribbled" down all the names of the birds that we saw, and now I'm recording what we saw in a more permanent journal--I look up the bird in the David Sibley bird book, then write down the date and place where the bird was seen.

Remind myself: Consistency will get you there, do not focus on the results.

    Pretracked most of the day.
    Drink 9 C water
Walk the dogs & hopefully a 2nd walk tonight. Last day w/dog sitting.
Meditate with Calm app after lunch.
Heard a new podcast "Primal Potential". Going to listen to a few more episodes to see if I like it.
Early to bed. 9:30. EPIC failure!
Day 3 of drastically reducing my sugar. Found an alternative to the sweetened iced coffee. Almond milk caramel creamer, it's delicious, plus I'm saving almost $3 a day!
A little stressed today trying to get son ready for camp. If someone told me "Sara, you're going to camp this week, no laundry, cooked meals, swimming everyday, campfires & you don't have to scrub a single toilet." I would run over anyone to get in my car & drive there! My 13 year old is not as excited!

Don't let go of the reigns and be a passive observer of your life.

    Have a great Saturday

⬆️ Thank you for sharing this!! Having children really changes the dynamic in your life. Sometimes they consume ALL of your patience and self-control. By the time your dealing with you, your spent! I struggle in this aspect as well. We have three boys and one is 15 yrs old, when they hit teeAGE all appreciation and excitement is buried in hormones :#

I am really inspired by your quote "Don't let go of the reigns and be a passive observer of your life." I needed to hear this at this time in a huge way, Thank You!!!! Good luck and remember one day your son WILL know he was blessed :)
