    Great posts everyone!

    Awoke at 3:30am b/c a neighbor had an emergency. All's well now but adrenaline rush from a late night phone call leaves me frazzled. COFFEE :blush:

    Pretracked most of the day.
    Make healthy food choices.
    Drink 9 C water
    We're dog sitting another big dog so hoping I can join DH walking them at a hilly park after I go to church.
    Meditate with Calm app after lunch.
    Mow lawn.
    Self care.
    Early to bed. 9:30.
    Determined to go to the gym tomorrow.

    Nice & cool near Boston today so perfect weather for yard work & my decluttering/purging mission!

    6. Gym :/Took what was supposed to be a quick nap that turned out to be 3 hours
    7. Dishes :DKind of. Had a few things soaking that I just finished cleaning and just cleaned the lunch dishes. Lol
    8. Dinner :)Hubby wasn't feeling well and fell asleep on the couch so I made a big pot of Caprese pasta had only one serving and put the rest in the fridge and had some for lunch today
    9. Food shop :/Doing this tonight! I hate food shopping during the day because I'm not a huge fan of crowds
    10. Get eggs from mom :)Did this. They raise chickens so they get fresh eggs every day.
    11. Prep egg salad :)Gonna do this tonight
    12. Pay rent :)Did this and boy was Mom happy. Lol
    13. Bed whenever as I am off tomorrow! Woohoo! :)Actually went to bed around 11:30. Way earlier than I thought though

    1. CLose the kitchen after dinner, except for ONE planned, small snack. Going on DAY FOUR!!! My goal, is to do this 7 days in a row, and keep on adding days, hoping I can break this awful habit! :)
    2. log all food :)
    3. concentrate on water :)
    4. finish sewing on quilt :/
    5. mow the grass :)
    6. I didn't get to the gym, so hoping I can get in a long bike ride, or a walk. It is beautiful out today - finally out of the extreme heat wave we have had :/ After 90 minutes mowing the lawn, my legs just couldn;t do anymore!
    7. lay out gym clothes for tomorrow :) Already gone to the gym this morning!

    After posting my JFT Sunday, I began my day organizing everything to "tackle" for the day and was struck with inspiration to change the entire day. My family has been struggling in many ways as most of my attention is towards school. Therefore, I decided to spend the entire Sunday putting pieces back together and restructuring an environment of positivity. I am feeling very encouraged about the new things I've implemented and I'm looking forward to a more peaceful and positive environment. o:) Two key things, I did not do any Physics school work yesterday (which was a much needed break!) And I was ASLEEP before 10:30 pm!!!! (which has not happened in some time) Everything else would Intel a very lengthy post, therefore I'll sum it up as a new chapter has begun ;)

    Moving Forward:

    1) Church 9:00 :smile:
    2) Walk dog = Actually woke up before alarm (again...what?) & walked dog before church on another gorgeous morning. Met up w/ Kim & Bogie, so cute. :smiley:B)
    3) Spend time with hubby = had a great day <3<3<3
    4) No bedtime goal bc I'm off next 3 days = wahoo! :smiley:

    Driving 1 1/2 hrs this afternoon to Mom & Dad's where I will spend 2 nights. Tomorrow is annual Girls Day Out with Mom, aunt, sister & SIL. Tradition began in 2004 when everyone except me went shopping for dresses to wear to my wedding. We've had annual GDO every year since but one (skipped when nephew got married / we attended bridal shower and wedding together instead). The day usually involves shopping, lots of talking and eating, and is always finished with dessert / sometimes adult beverages. Tomorrow I won't be logging at all / giving myself a total break.

    JFT M 7/31 before I leave town
    1) Walked dog 3.43 miles on another gorgeous a.m. / little sticky....I could get used to these sunny days, but know it won't last B)B)B)B)

    Weekly Weigh-In = When I'm active I eat back calories / sometimes too much. My weaknesses: my sweet tooth, especially chocolate, and portion control. I weigh myself daily and log weekly / posting my Saturday a.m. weigh-in here. [My digital scale only shows half pound increments.]

    Height 5'4"
    GW #1: 150
    GW #2: 145
    Ultimate Goal Range: 140 - 145 [anything less is probably unsustainable]
    August Goal: lose 4# and reach 170

    5/31 = 180.5 two end of month celebrations
    6/3 = 177.5
    6/10 = 179.5 pre-10K spaghetti supper night before
    6/17 = 179.5 numerous meals away from home, several occasions w/ alcohol, happy no gain
    6/24 = 178.0 fluctuated during week, but ended ok
    7/1 = 176.0 Yay!!! Achieved June goal to stay <180
    7/8 = 177.5
    7/15 = 176.5
    7/22 = 175.0
    7/29 = 174.0 saw at least one daily w-i below 174 so on my way :smile:

Lesson learned (again), eat planned meals. On the weekends, if I don't site down and have lunch, I tend to graze. Today it was on ice cream! But .... I closed the kitchen at least for the rest of the day
    7. lay out gym clothes for tomorrow morning :) I did this, but didn't get to the gym this morning -- just really tired, and decided to maybe take a rest day

    Results for July Goals:

    * Lose 3 - 4 lbs. Want to stay below 174# 7/29/17 = 174.0 and saw at least one daily w-i below that. :smiley:
    * Take measurements and log on 7/29 (Sat.) or 7/31 (Monday vacation day) 7/29 measurements = lost 1/4 inch off hips and waist each. Wearing clothes that I haven't been able to last few summers. Yay! :smiley:
    * Walk dog 5x per week Past 4 weeks 5x each = total 65.1 miles & happy dog :smiley:
    * Walk Packers 5K on 7/22 in < 48 minutes Chip time 48:10 and pace 15:31 / not bad for warm & very humid, not my favorite conditions :smiley:
    * Log food on weekends, and pre-log food / snacks as much as possible As of 7/31 I have 155 day streak on MFP. Would not have been possible without my fellow JFTers! All of you have really helped me keep on track, even when it's not good :wink: especially to log on weekends. Thank you! :smiley:

    August Goals:
    * Lose 4# and reach 170 for good
    * Take measurements & log on 9/2
    * Walk dog 5x per week
    * Prelog food & snacks whenever possible
    * Log everything on weekends

    Off the topic --- but do you guys know what I would have done to make the "discussions" in the tinest print!! I can hardly read it. I must have hit somthing - now I can't figure how how to change it back. When I enter food, etc., that is OK - its just the discussion forums.

    Had a great day. For those in relationships, do you every have days where you feel like you are missing a part of yourself because your SO isn't by your side? Maybe it's because we've only been married 3 years, but there are days where I just really really miss my DH. Am I weird for feeling that way?
