Awesome goals everyone.
I'm going to say 75 miles and will reevaluate as the month goes on based on PT.8 -
@Elise4270 - You are an MRC 'noser.
In for 100. Hoping to exceed that by 10% like I did in February, but trying to be realistic.6 -
@iofred -Why have I never noticed that snake ticker background before? I am so using that this month!2
-
@lporter229 ... be my guest, maybe we can do a snake-race3

March Goal: at least 75 miles (I can be lazy and cut runs a bit short, but can't start skipping workouts).
Training Plan currently:
(I missed the long run last weekend, and it shortened the next batch down to 6.5 miles in response..this Saturday is a 5 mile race, so I likely won't also be doing a long run).

I'm in for 175 miles!5

I used to be a runner, but I haven't ran (really RAN!) in a couple of years.. I'll shoot for 10. I'll work on the ticker later tonight. Can't wait to get started.10
-
Will join for 60.

My goal for March is to enjoy running as part of a well-rounded fitness program and increase my strength and endurance.

You deserve the rest! You may have already said this, but where are you going skiing? I am totally jealous, as this is the first winter in as long as I can remember that I did zero skiing and it's not looking too good for that to change. Have fun and ski a run for me!
I am going to hold out until I talk to the PT on Friday before I make any mileage goals for the month. I did bike on my trainer this morning. Only 20 minutes because I ended up in a time crunch, but it felt great. Zero pain on the hamstring. The quads were tight, but that's okay. I need to work those bad boys out! Today my hamstring feels looser and less painful than it has in a long time. Maybe there is something to this rest thing after all
@lporter229
We're going to Copper Mountain, CO! I can't wait. We've been going to Durango the past few years but wanted to try something new. We got our son out on some blues last year and he did great. March in Colorado is so pretty.1 -

Here we go. Starting small with 45 miles in March, but excited for the challenge.6

30 miles in March

First cab off the rank!
(One of the many benefits of being Australian )
12.63 km this morning with one of my parkrun buddies.
Garmin and Strava were down this morning when I got back from my run. After waiting all day for my run to appear on Strava, I manually uploaded the GC file to Strava, and now I've stopped hyperventilating.5 -
Ok, my goal is to run 100 km in March. Had a baby 16 months ago and only just starting to get back into running. My aim is to run the Humber Bridge Half in June.9
-
Hello March, first 10K run, TM-paced, which consisted of slow runs with fast(er) intervals ... not very good at slow pace though ... followed with 1 mile Interval/Biceps workout

1/3/17 3.4m - that's what you get for drinking on a school night.
Target 70 miles
Planned races -
29.4.17 HM Coastal Trail Series Pembrokeshire FULL!!!
7.5.17 HM-ish The Ox Wiltshire.
27.5.17 - HM(15m) Race the Tide???????????? shall I?
So my first run of the month felt like penance for too many pancakes, cheese, chocolate, ice cream, wine.....
it was rough going, but I allowed myself the thought that I haven't run much lately, I've been ill and am still waking in the middle of the night with a dry cough, and it was a shock to the system getting up so early. However, my long run for the weekend is supposed to be a 9 miler so am slightly concerned (think I'll just go out for a couple of hours and see how far I get!!)
Another first for me on my run this morning - a faceplant. got caught by a fine bit of bramble across the way, went straight down into the mud. I am not sure whether this was in subconscious homage to @BeeerRunner and the marathon spectacular, but it made me laugh some. Nothing like washing your hands clean in the dirtiest puddle you can find!!!

Hi everyone, I am getting back into running after a few months off, but also having in the past never been a 'runner' as such. Determined to develop my love and ability for running and get past those 5ks eventually. Starting gradually with 30 miles in March.
Looking forward to getting to see how everyone gets on9 -
Getting back into the swing of things after an almost 2 year gap. Starting low at 35 mikes for the month...11
-
Woooo, I'm back! For those of you that remember, I had a stress fracture late last year. Took a bunch of time off, did PT for 8 weeks, and slowly returned back to running. It's been ~3 months that I've been running again so I think it's time to rejoin the challenge! I'm on track to have done 76 miles in February and, looking at my upcoming training schedule, my goal for March is 90 miles!

February was a disaster, more and more aches, pains and niggles the further into the month I got. I've been working on strengthening my core the last few weeks and lots of strength training so hopefully onwards and upwards now3 -
