Hey everyone,
I hope your abs are shaking from the planks. I have two quick questions, do we need rest day from planks?! Even if your body can take more?
Also I'm thinking of doing weighted planks, what do you think guys?!
Sorry if the group doesn't allow questions and only for logging plank progress2 -
In my opinion you need at least 1 rest day a week. The reason isn't so much to avoid injury (although it will help) but to allow your muscles to repair themselves and get stronger. It took a while for me to realize this as well, and I used to exercise 7 days a week. Injury slowed me down, but eventually I realized that I could gain more strength by resting at least a couple times a week. So now I take two rest days a week.6
