    You can lose attachment to someone you never thought you would. It doesn't mean you don't care for them, it just means your world doesn't revolve around them anymore and that's a great *kitten* feeling.

    TIL that a repair guy will charge you $50 to smack the control panel of your washing machine to get it working again.

    If you didn't try that first then you had that coming...

    I guess I haven't fixed appliances enough to know that technique. I don't typically go around smacking broken things. This is my go-to now, though.

    Did you have an NES growing up? I beat the daylights out of mine. Still works.

    I saw something once that says people swallow spiders in their sleep...vegans should tape their mouth shut to make sure this doesn't happen.

    TIL That bone china is made from 50% ground up bone. Kind of logical when you think about it.

    Serious question: Do vegans avoid using bone china? If so how do you tell if you are in a cafe/restaraunt?
