One of the companies you mention has the detailed instructions on how to pre-cleanse. I have done the juice cleanse twice. First time, I was an idiot, didn't pre-cleanse, had a horrible experience and ranted afterwards how juice cleanses are a scam. Second time, I did it right - and got what I wanted. Speaking of which. I recommend setting realistic expectations which would be easy to measure.
E.g. when I was doing my cleanse, my main goal was getting rid of pimples and acne. And guess what - my skin did get better. Good luck!
Nope. You were right first time.7 -
You know what cleared my acne? A specific birth control pill and great skincare.3

Actually ill say green smoothies definatly helped my skin. Still think a juice or smoothie "cleanse" is dumb but i do definatly think all the vitamins in my green smoothie daily definatly cleared my skin Its been the only thing changed so....Yay. Good ADDITION to a well rounded diet for sure.1 -

I relapsed yesterday when I had cheesecake for lunch. Actually that just fit into my calories for the day. You dont have to eat healthy to lose weight. You dont need to make losing weight miserable.
I had Dairy Queen last night and was still in a deficit.
Okay but what did you get though Currently Craving DQ
I had caramel funnel cake from DQ the other day, I had never had a funnel cake. My aunt couldnt understand my desire to have a 530 calorie funnel cake for the same price as the full burger/fries/drink/icecream meal.
Funny how some people will never understand that getting what you want trumps getting something just because more food XD
Was yummy
That sounds soooo good. I know some days you just want something specific and its so nice when you get it
Yeah thats something iv had to practice. Paying more for less XD Why do i need more when i can get what i want, Whether that be something more delicious to me but smaller or a slimmer nice waist when i pay the same amount for a drumstick from a variety store as the 4 pack from the grocery store i know damn well ill eat all that day xD lol
Yes, I'd eat the whole 4 pack too. I've had to train my brain to think of calories per serving instead of dollars per pound.1 -

If you don't prefer to eat the same vegetables (and fruit, if you include fruit) some other way, sure. I occasionally like smoothies, but more often prefer eating my vegetables and fruit in some other way. But not anti smoothie at all. Smoothie cleanse, on the other hand.
My skin cleared up when I got into the later part of my teens, no smoothies involved, and only perhaps a Noxema cleanse. I did eat vegetables through high school, though, although it's never crossed my mind to credit them.1 -

I have adult onset acne, didn't appear till I was about 20. I have always been a big veg eater so definitely not linked to diet in my case.0 -

According to Cronometer, I consistently meet my nutritional needs and my blood work (done annually) is awesome. The food I eat tastes great and makes me feel good.
My BMI is 19 and I'm at my goal weight. I've been maintaining for almost two years now.
So does that make my opinions more valid?
Naaaa....Not really. I maintained for 3yrs
So how long would I have to maintain for my opinion about juicing to be valid?
I've maintained 50 pounds lost for 15+ years. Which means all my beliefs are totally facts now.4 -

Same here. I would lose weight the horrible way by having no money left for food. I'd be out in the woods eating grass and weeds and trying to trap rabbits. :X3 -

Would that count as cardio?

For me? More like burning up brain cells trying to create a decent trap to snag the rabbits. Falling down the hill and rolling into the creek is not part of the plan lol. There are deer, too, but I would need a gun or a bow to bring them down.0

Just make sure you get plenty of dandelions, plantain, violet leaves, nettles, and other spring tonic greens--their nutritional profiles are insane. Juices--feh!2 -
True. And the acorns are too tannic for human consumption unless you boil them for like 24 hours... which at that point you have gone through an insane amount of either wood or propane. The woods are full of oak and pine in my location.0
