In for 120 this month. Plan on one 5k on Oct 14 and then my first HM on Nov. 18.
Looks like a good plan to me. You're going to rock your races!

Still in mostly recovery mode but at least I have managed a couple of slow, short runs this week. So I have no real mileage goal for the month, I just want to continue to progress.

    Goals:
1-Don't injure myself trying too hard
    2-Get back to a 10 mile run
3-Get my pace back to prior marathon pace on my 2-4 mile runs.
4-Find some better compression gear for this malfunctioning left leg
5-Do a better job keeping up with this thread
Looks like a good set of goals. Here's to your recovery continuing at a steady pace.

Well, I distance PR'd in September at 198.7 miles. I guess I should try for 200 as a stretch goal.

You have 5 hours to get that extra 1.3... go for it

Sadly, am out of time already. Have non-running-life-things to handle.

I have been rather lazy this year and haven't showed up in here for a long time. Just want to pop back in here to say hi and put in my goal for October. 60 miles should not be too much a stretch but yet keep me running during the week

    Upcoming race:
    11/23 Thank you Run (5k)
12/16 San Diego Holiday Half ( @shanaber, will you be running this race again? We've talked quite a few of our friends running this race  )

October goal is going to be 97 miles. I plan to finish out the training plan for a marathon on 10/21 and then stop for the month/ year. After this last race for 2017, I'll change focus to fat loss. I've already achieved and exceeded all of my running goals for 2017, but my fat loss goal is still illusive and may be a challenge. I already have scheduled a Dexa scan on 12/30 to see whether or not I achieved my goal of 10% body fat. I still believe it is possible, but difficult... that is why I'm going to put more focus on weight loss and not worry about running.

    10/1 - Rest

    Upcoming Races:
10/21/17 - Oregon Trail Run marathon (First marathon... goal 4:10)

On the same wave length as @MNLittleFinn today apparently as I also cut it short to feed the fam (though I was mean to my children and made them omelettes instead of pancakes, they'd have been hella jealous). Now to go grocery shopping!

    October 1- 28

I'd like to join in! I'm very new to running so my goal will be quite low. I'm still completing C25K and I did about 32 total miles in September, including walking warm ups and cool downs. If it's okay, I think I'll continue tracking total miles.

    October goals:
    Complete C25K
    Run a 5k (28Oct - haven't registered yet, a little gun shy)
    40 total miles

Welcome! go ahead and register for the 5k, you'll be ready when the time comes. Finishing C25K is a great goal, and your mileage goal is very reasonable. you got this!
