Giordano’s delivers! Seriously! Twice or thrice a year the hubby and I save up for a special occasion like his birthday and order Giordano’s stuffed pizza delivered to us in Texas. I don’t eat the crust, btw, but celiac prob not even skipping crust! (Amazed, no one ever knows what I mean when I say real Chicago pizza i.e. stuffed pizza i.e. Giordano’s!)1 -
On Facebook each day you can see copies of posts you've made on this day in past years Below is what showed up today from 2012. Jack was still flying for ATI. This is why I was happy when he retired. He was sometimes gone for 12-15 days at a time. Normally it was gone 7-10 days, home for seven days bfore leaving on the next trip.
"Jack just called he leaves Hawaii tomorrow for Wake Island, then to Tokyo, then I think he told me Greenland before coming back to San Jose, Sacramento and home. Guess it'll be a while before I see him!!"

Hi all,
Had a fantastic meal at the Ginger Pig. Then DH and I had an argument. More a ridiculous row. Quite utterly stupid. I get over it quickly, but he harbours it. It was all about nothing at all. So stupid and sad.
I try to make it up, but he's still upset. We seem to do this every now and then. We always get over it, but it is so unecessary when we are having a lovely time. We are both at fault.
Tomorrow is another day. Let's hope we are feeling better.

Hello all,
I am not 50 yet, but hoping to join. Why you ask? I am 41 and have been in peri menopause for 3 years. Many my own age do not understand, as I am on the younger side to be dealing with it. Need a place where others understand, can give advice and inspire. Perhaps I can be an honorary 50 because of this?
Welcome to the group! I can totally relate as I went through menopause early myself. By age 45 I was post menopause. At age 58 I still contend with hot flashes / night sweats. Hang in there. It is quite the journey!

Kate - I found a website for the Lonsdale shoes, it looks like they supply shoes for boxers! Anyhow, the ladies sizes didn't go as big as my feet are, which is OK. They are adorable nonetheless and you'll be the hit of the gym!
If it's fashionable over there US suppliers will be making them before long. Thanks! Lanette2 -

Mary, I'm so pleased that Brady is fine. Thanks for the update. I was thinking of him today.
Allie, sounds like you had a good productive day. Your place is really starting to come together.
Becca, love the pucture. First thought was "how did they do that?". I would imagine that there is something underneath and just an outside layer of fall items. Whatever it is, it's gorgeous.
Heather, sorry you had a fight. It seems even worse when it doesn't happen often. My DH and I don't fight hardly at all and it always feels like such a big deal when we do. You are right, tomorrow is a new day.
And speaking of new days, I'm off to bed. I have tomorrow off and errands to run.
Terry in VT on my way to bed.

Did a 10 pounds down DVD. The plan for tomorrow is to do Jillian Michae's Extreme Shed and Shred DVD
Penny - your story of that reindeer made my heart break. Maybe that farmer will take the reindeer in with the sheep
Lanette - you're doing the responsible thing by Rosie, too. So glad so many people are so responsible. Wish more people were
Josephine - happy birthday
Amy - of course you can join! Age is just a number anyway. We've all BTDT
drkatiebug - I'm always amazed at the fact that people don't know that moving the decimal point one place to the left will let you know what 10% of something is, and if you need to know 20% you just add it twice. One thing that really makes me sad is when I go to a store and I have to explain to the cashier why I gave her too much money (I don't want a lot of change) and how much change she should give me.
Terry - I always keep some frozen grapes. They are such a good substitute for ice cream when you're in the mood. They also help (at least me) cooling me down when a hot flash comes on
Mary from AZ/NM - I know that a heart murmur is a scary thing, but he might very well grow out of it. Bryan grew out of his. I know that it's hard not to worry. Update: so glad it's fine
Had the first session of Newcomer bowling tonight. Found a chip in my ball so I left it there with a note for the guy who does repairs on balls asking if it's repairable. The ball is ONLY about 35 years old, still a young thing....lol
Carol/Peach - Way back when I worked in a fast food place. I tell you, inside of a few weeks I was sick of fast food. To this day, I don't care at all for fast food. The same thing probably happens if you work in a bakery. After a while, you get sick of baked goods
Cat - welcome!
janetr - happy anniversary

Checking in, hula hooped for 30 minutes with my 5.5 pound hoop, will have my 5,000 goal steps in by bedtime, under on calories, low carbs goal is met, no weight loss for days....same report for days....low thyroid, take medication, just very disappointing to work this hard with no results. Body is looking better but not a lot of actual inches lost. Tireder than I should be (which is normal for me). 59-3/4 Anyone else similar?3

Mary, so glad to hear that baby Brady is fine, he sure is a cutie!
Drkatiebug, I too get frustrated when these oh so young cashiers look at me funny when I give "too much money". I tend to just use a credit card, solves all the mystery.....
Michele, I'll bet that bowling ball was just fine for 35 years, why should it chip now, for Pete's sake!! lol
That's all I can remember right now. I'm having some major issues with my computer so I'm just on my tablet, its not quite as easy to do some things with, but it's all I've got right now!
Today is going fairly well, dinner is done and I've done okay, calories wise, got hubby out for a walk and got my house vacuumed! Should probably clean at least our ensuite too.... ugh. Tired of cleaning house! lol

Allie – If TomCat fails to show, or is totally unprepared … I hope your attorney tells the Judge that she is ready to take it to trial and remind him/her how they have been stalling. If this is the 2nd or 3rd time y’all will be appearing in front of the same Judge, he/she might not look so highly on it and will award you what you want. But, TomCat sounds like he will be a real “d***H***” when it comes to paying you. He’ll probably haul off and move to FL and just decide not to pay you. I hope you have thought about things like that. You might want to ask your attorney 'what would happen IF he does that'.
M in Oz – I started ‘purging’ my house and ‘OMG’ … it is a huge mess. I’ve started at one corner where the bookshelves are … took off about 30 books and 15 pictures. I had already taken off all my ‘art books’. Gee, I don’t know how I had all of it on the shelves, but I did.
Carol – One of my friends, when we lived in Macon, had calla lilies planted in the small strip between their driveway and the next-door neighbors … all mixed. Yellow and Red. I’m pretty sure they split the cost of the lilies. Always so pretty.
Josephine – HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Machka9 – One of my friends call those her ‘dick flower’. Or “Pecker Plant”. I first thought she was talking about a “Peace Lily”; but, this is what she is talking about.
Katie – I remember being told my one of my granddaughters, I think it was Madison when she asked for ‘help’ doing a problem and I explained it step, she ‘quickly’ told me ‘that was not how the teacher taught them how to do it. She kept saying they were adding left to right; I always thought you added right to left and carried over. Trying to teach her how to subtract a number for 100 … moving (borrowing) a one to put in front of the last number, and decreasing the 10 down to a nine was the way I learned it. Borrowing and carrying over was the ‘terminology’ our teacher used. Same with division, addition, multiplication. I have no idea what she was doing. I finally told her that maybe her Daddy would help when he got home.
When I go shopping with a ‘set amount of cash’ … I round up to the next nickel to make sure I will have enough when I get to the cashier; then add the 7% sales tax …. Which means I will multiply what my total is and then add that number as tax, moving the decimal point over to the left to get the amount the taxes will cost. $38.37 x .07% = $2.6459 (round up to $2.65). I really feel sorry for kids (and some adults) who have NO concept of counting back change (unless the cash register tell them how much). I’ve given them $100.09 when the bill was $50.09 – wanting a $50 back? I’ve been told by some – you gave me too much. No, I didn’t, take the 9¢ off and then give me change of the $50 from the $100. They still have to enter it into the cash register to make sure. I bought play money to teach my kids how to ‘count back change’.
Wendy – I loved the picture of your dog and the older friend. They get so much love with a pet coming … I think they ought to allow them to come more often. HOWEVER, the other day I went to my GP’s office and this older lady got to the door before I did, followed by this nasty looking (unbathed) small fluffy dog. She told it to ‘stay' as she went inside; I wanted to ask her why she expected him to stay out in a parking lot and the portico where he could get killed by the traffic; but, I kept my mouth shut. Then as soon as the door opened, he walked in like he owned the place, she’d take him back out and yell at him to ‘stay’, back inside when the door opened up. Then the dog squatted down and drug his butt across the floor (trying to clean off a bit of poop it had stuck in it hair. She did not say anything to him. Did that twice; one of the intake ladies saw him, and came out and told her ‘you can’t have that dog in here’. She just looked at her and said, ‘well, every time the door opens, she just walks in’. The girl repeated it again and she ignored her. Finally, they brought a box to the front and she got it and left.
There was a middle-aged woman sitting at a 90° angle from me. I looked at her and said, ‘that is one reason I would NOT have a long-haired dog’. She laughed and said that her dog had long hair; but, she kept it cut short and put it in a sweater in the cold when it went out. LOL! Cracker would think I had lost my mind to try to put a sweater on her. I was going to take her to get clipped (she has what is called a ‘broken’ coat) – long hair and short hair. Louis told me to let it stay long so she would be warm when she went out.
Took her to the vet this AM. She told me that she is probably dreaming and if we said something to her, the staring would be like if someone had woken us up out of a deep sleep, she would be ‘dazed’; but, she said the next time she did it to make a video of it so they can ‘see’ what she is doing. But, she assured me it was probably her just dreaming. Said her dog does the same thing and sometimes even moves his feet like he is running.
Lanette – You must be talking about when she runs into the car that whips into her parking spot. That’s so funny. A HS boyfriend used to live in the big white house up from the café; but, at that time, it was ‘green’ … they fixed it up for the movie … and the café, in real life is not surrounded by grounds; it is right in the middle of town (but at one end of the street). They had to have put up some sort of screen to make it look like it was set off by itself. It was partially filmed in Juliette, GA – the other part was filmed up near Atlanta (I want to say either Senoia or Newnan (or somewhere near there).
I need to make sure I either order it from Netflix after I check to make sure I don’t have it. I know I looked for it to be ‘on sale’ (especially when the ‘movie stores’ all closed down).
We never could get everyone together to take a 5-generation picture. I really hated that because it isn’t all that common. Louis, his Dad, his grandmother, his daughter, and her daughter.
You are correct in saying that there are ‘new’ posts intermingled among the beginning and ending of your last post. I started finding my last post and scrolling back up about 5 or 6. I think it is because of all of us on here and MFP having to figure out where to fit our posts in, depending on the length of it. Now, it seems that rather than taking you back to your last post; it takes you back (most of the time) to the top of the last page you posted on. Can be really confusing … if you are like me and post a lot or long.
Terry in VT – Some gyms sell hula hoops (usually for the costs to make them). Of course you can buy one on the Internet. Here’s how you make an ‘adult-sized’ hula hoop. You won’t be able to hold up a child’s hula hoop, not big or heavy enough. Get some 1/2th or 3/4th inch black tubing (kind you can buy at Lowe's or Home Depot from their gardening area). Roll it out, probably a minimum of 5’ to see where it will circle around without being forced (roughly 5’ or 5’5”) … better to have too much and cut off than not enough. Buy a double-ended connection part <||> and put one end into the tube. Put about ½ cup of water into it and connect the other end. Water gives it some weight. Wrap duct tape around it – paying special attention to the area where it is connected. I’ve used patterned or color duct take to make mine. It will take about 2 small rolls to wrap it (and it will not be smooth either). Step into the center of it, bring it up to you waist and ‘throw’ it around. You need to have your feet about shoulder width apart with one slightly in front of the other and ‘rock’ to and fro (front to back). It will take a while to get used to doing it. I have to ‘throw’ mine to my left, otherwise I’ll drop it every time. If it starts falling down, squat down; but, continue the rocking motion and you will learn how to keep it up around your waist. It will hurt … and you will have bruising from it. Remember it is weighted with ½ cup of water and the tubing and duct tape also add weight to it. GREAT exercise. Go out and find a place that is about 10’ of clearance … it will take that for when it is making its rotation. You might not be able to have it make but 2 or 3 rotations; but, hang in there and do it as long as you can each time. It really works the ‘core’. I got to the point I could do 1000 rotations and not be tired. I’ve made 2 – one slightly heavier than the other … because it has 4 rolls of duct tape around it; but, I have to get use to my lighter one before tackling the heavier one. It is almost too heavy. Store it flat. If you hang it on a hook, it won’t be ‘round’ for long. I just lay mine of my deck or under my bed, if I don’t want others to ‘trip’ over it.
Langman22 – Our DYS’s wife (new – he has never been married before) wants so badly to give him a baby. She just had a miscarriage after finding out she had gotten pregnant doing the IVF procedure; but, it was the last embryo … so ‘if’ they try again, it will mean they have to start all over again. Every day shots in her stomach (5 of them) to make her ovaries put out multiple eggs, going to the OB in Jackson, MS (they live right across the MS River from Natchez, MS so it is a good hour-and-a-half one way. Then ‘if’ she gets pregnant Will will have to give her shot (huge needle) in her back-side (he has a circle of where she should be getting the shot). It is ‘extremely’ expensive because there is only one fertility MD in MS and only one fertility MD in Baton Rouge. She likes the one in Jackson, MS. It would have cost $500 just to go ‘talk’ to the other one. They do a LOT of testing on both parents, extensive medical history. This last time (the only time she had been able to hold the pregnancy, they had gone in and scrapped the inside of her uterus to try to make it so that it would implant itself on the wall. They put her to sleep for the extraction of the eggs; but, this scrapping of her uterus, she was wide awake. Nurse told her she did really good; because most women scream and curse. She tried to get Will’s attention and the nurse told her to stop, he was praying. When she miscarried they were BOTH upset. She told me the other day that they are not going to tell anybody if they are going through it again, and won’t tell anybody ‘if’ she gets pregnant until after the first trimester. I think they were ‘so excited’ that she had had 2 positive pregnancy tests, they probably announced it a little too soon. We left the Sunday before Labor Day and they went to the specialist the day after. Couldn’t find a heartbeat. He gave her until the next Tuesday to pass it or else she would have had to have surgery – I’m assuming a D&C. She was asking the MD questions for weeks; and, he told her she needed to ‘stop listening to well-meaning family and friends’ … he had no idea why she lost it but he assured her it was NOT because she had taken steroids so she could breathe. He said that he Rx’d them all the time for his pregnant patients. It just did not work this time … next time … it might work the very first time. They never know. But, they are getting to the age, they won’t be good candidates; but, my OB/GYN told me that 45 is about the last time they will try it on a woman … they are both 39. We keep praying for them and hoping that God’s Will is for them to have a baby. Both Louis and I told her ‘that Will did NOT marry her to have children’ … he married her because he fell ‘in love with her AND Mallory’. I told her that Mallory was a much our granddaughter as the other 3 are. She really liked hearing that. She said she will ‘never’ forget what Papa Louie told her. It made her feel so much better.
I’m just ‘thankful’ that her HCG levels are coming down like they should (and not going up). But, my niece went through the process on her first pregnancy and lost one of the twin pregnancy she was carrying. I don’t think that is what has happened here (unfortunately). We just will continue with our prayers and asking for others to pray for them as well.
When I learned Math we always were talk the PEMDAS method … "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally" (Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiply, Divide, Add, Subtract). I have to say that ‘every time’ I come up to something that is math related … especially if it has multiple parts. I think I was fairly good at Math because I could always ‘draw it out’; my Mother made sure that my English was ‘proper’. How I wish my Mother was still living. She’d be rolling over in her urn if she saw some of the ‘mistakes’ she was always correcting. My grandchildren say I do the same thing. Saying “Done” when they mean (or is better said) “Finished.” You’re only DONE if you’re a steak, hand me that knife and fork and let me check you.” I wanted to crawl under my chair, or down into the seams when my middle granddaughter corrected her mother pronunciation of the work “Salmon” … she got a ‘back-hand’ on that one. Trey had to ‘agree’ but he did not open his mouth. Madison had been ‘laughing’ at her when she said “SAL” “MAN”; Madison told her it was “SA” “MON” … the “L” is silent. Then when her mother reacted her defense was ‘Nana is always correcting me’. I wanted to tell her that she needed to apologize to her Mother [but, that would have made a bad situation worse] so the subject was changed and I got them all something to drink. My biggest problem were ‘word problems’ … like the ones with the train on one track going 70mph and one in the other direction going 50mph. Well, about all I knew is there was going to be a ‘train wreck’ somewhere. BOOM!!!!!!
Mary – Prayers going up for Brady. If it makes you feel any better, there are a lot of babies born with heart murmurs that seem to be ‘outgrown’ … but better safe to see a cardiologist and let him figure out what to do. My boss had one; but, it did not keep him out of military service; but, it did keep him off the ‘liver transplant’ list much later in his life. Cute little “Gingers.”
Becca – I just donated that book to the Library. I don’t think I read it; don’t think I have seen the move either. If so, my brain did not keep it in a drawer I could easily find. Which reminds me … I have a 4-drawer filing cabinet to clean out. I’ve finished with my 2-drawer. That’s going to be the LAST thing I do! If nobody can find something … it is probably in there!
Three girls in your family? Where did you fall in? I’m the ‘baby’ … which can be as much of a ‘curse’ as it is a ‘blessing’. The ‘curse’ being that neither of my two older sister think I could possibly understand something … ‘blessing’ is “I don’t have to.” But my memories of our growing up years is so much better than theirs are. My oldest sister who is 72 … doesn’t remember $#*T. Even her husband, can remember things that I say and she still says, “I don’t remember that’! Middle sister always caught in the middle and felt ‘left out a lot’. We were all almost exactly 3 years apart. Good age span. Oldest one isn’t held ‘responsible’ for the other two … each one of us went through different stages in our lives … but; because she is the oldest I think my Mother especially expected more out of her. Me? I was a ‘sickly’ baby, have had a lot of health problems in my 66 years; was the ‘baby of the family’ for the longest period of time before my Daddy passed away and I as pretty much ‘his baby’.
Allie – As thick-headed as TomCat seems to be … he probably thinks that the $10K IS the settlement (his attorney probably hasn’t even told him, “No, that was for attorneys’ fees because I am inept”). Hope you have/had a nice nap.
Janetr okc – Happy Anniversary!!!! To both of you!!!!
Yvonne – I agree that you MnL made a really ‘stupid remark, on so many level’. But, what is sad is for the ones that want a baby but can’t seem to have one; when they see others (family and friends) having them every time they turn around and then the ‘*kitten*’ about it. Tami’s IVF OB told her to ‘disconnect’, ‘get out of town – which she was able to do by going to the lake’, and to ‘stop’ Googling everything that ‘well-meaning’ friends and family suggested. She had to do that in order to be able to start the grieving process. It is a process and for her to possibly have a ‘good outcome’ if they try it again, she needs to get in that better place.
Heather – Sometimes Louis and I will get into a disagreement that gets blown out of proportion by one or the other of us. We really ‘try’ NOT to go to bed angry; so many times one of us will wake up the other and ‘apologize for the WAY we argued/fought whatever. Doesn’t mean that we are giving in … just that we are ‘sorry the argument/fight got out of hand’. We don’t fight dirty, never have … but we do argue about things.
Amybcb – I had a total hysterectomy at the age of 35. I’ve always been cold natured. Can’t say that I have had any ‘hot flashes’ other than when I am eating something ‘hot and spicy’. I will put Frank’s Hot Sauce on just about anything. Best thing that could ever happen to me. I had had my 2.5 children (both boys … don’t know about the one I lost). Became a grandmother 10 years later; now I have a beautiful granddaughter who is now 21 and will graduated from West Georgia University in December. Then, she and her boyfriend (who will be applying to PT school) will be ‘out in the real world’. I’m just hoping that she will calm down a bit. She’ll have a biology degree and depending on where her boyfriend ends up going will affect where she gets a job. She is going to apply at the CDC in Atlanta; other than that … she hasn’t thought that far out. If he goes to Savannah, GA – her opportunities will probably be greater insofar as different types of jobs.

Thursday -- hard to believe the week is almost over!
Walk: 6.5 km
Stairs: 14 flights of 20 stairs
It's been a drizzy, misty, rainy, cool day ... both today and yesterday, actually. Fortunately tomorrow and the weekend look better.
I'm tired this evening (Thursday evening 10:45 pm) and might plan to go to bed earlier than usual.
Machka in Oz
Part of that 6.5 km walk was a walk to the beach after work with my husband.
And it was so nice to SEE the beach again.
It didn't dawn on me until after we got home that this was our first walk to the beach, where we could actually see the beach, since last May or even late April!! We've been in the dark for a long time!
Now we're waiting for weather warm enough so that we can walk barefoot on the beach.
The arthritis in my feet has been acting up lately, and one of the things that seems to help is walking on sand, ankle deep in cold ocean water. The last time I could do that was probably last March.

Hello again! Thank you for the welcomes and welcome backs, it’s lovely to see the support on this forum. I have a question though - how does one go backwards and see the pages between the first one and the current, or last, one? I’m using an iPad and iPhone but don’t remember having this problem before. I wanted to answer a couple of people but can’t find their names now!
Cheers, Cathy

If I got rid of 30 books from my library, you probably wouldn't even notice the difference. During my last break from classes (about a year ago), I finished unpacking and organising my books. I've got two 6 ft high shelves and one smaller shelf about 4 ft high. They're jammed full and I've started stacking some in front. Plus we've got a selection of books in the living room, and the cookbooks in the kitchen.
And in comparison to the library my parents have and especially the one my brother has ... mine is trivial. Only a fraction the size of theirs. My brother could compete with public libraries in small towns.
We love our books!
Calla lilies were very popular for weddings a few years ago -- they are very elegant. I've only seen them in white.
Not my photos ... but I worked for a florist for a while, and she did bouquets similar to these:GRITSandSLUTS wrote: »You are correct in saying that there are ‘new’ posts intermingled among the beginning and ending of your last post. Our posts are listed in order of the time we post them, not the length of the post. If we're both typing at the same time, and you post 1 second sooner than I do, yours will be ahead of mine in the list. If I post ever-so-slightly earlier than you do, mine will be ahead in the list.
So if I post, and then you post a second later ... you could easily miss mine, especially if you read from your last post.

I have a question though - how does one go backwards and see the pages between the first one and the current, or last, one? I’m using an iPad and iPhone but don’t remember having this problem before. I wanted to answer a couple of people but can’t find their names now!

Look at the bottom of the page. I’ve circled the “back one page” in red and the “forward one page” in blue.

Just note that if you start a reply on one page ... if you move to another page, you'll lose your reply.
Be sure to copy it, then navigate between pages, and when you've found the information you want, paste the reply in the "Type reply here" box on that page, and finish your post.
When people here complain about losing their replies, I suspect they've typed several paragraphs and then figured they'd just go back a page to check something ... and ... gone.

Heather: (((HUGS for you and DH)))
Mary: Congratulations on the good news for Baby Brady!
Regarding posting, I prefer to use my laptop to read the thread and post my own comments. I have part of the screen open to MFP and a word document open beside it. I read the posts on the thread and make comments on my word document. When I'm ready, I copy and paste the word document into the thread. I've had an occasional snafu, but this system works very well and the snafus are rare.

Hi Sisters, I have just gotten in from an all day ride, beach and forest. I rode Mani and led my student on the beautiful white unicorn Esmerelda. It was sunny when we started out, but soon turned into a steady rain. By the time we'd ridden for an hour we had to tip water out of our boots! We rode for four and a half hours. Still had an awesome time though we did have to sit in the truck with the heater blowing for awhile before I could drive home because my hands had turned into crab claws. I discovered when we got back to the truck that somewhere along the way my phone had fallen out of my pocket, along with the eftpos card and a few other cards that were in it. Probably flew out when we were cantering along the beach. Will be washed out to sea. So a new phone is on the list for me. Gotta make dinner now and then a hot bath and a glass of red is my priority.
Glad to hear baby Brady is better. Need to phone sheep man and tell him to look after lonely Mike. I hate to see any herd animal alone. All my horses have a paddock mate. Sorry you had a fight, Heather. I have been thinking I might re-invent myself one day and live your life for awhile. Sounds so awesome. Will write more later, late for making tea, Wendy6 -
Mary, so glad bay is doing fine, I am guessing that is big brother with him. Looks like he will take ver good care of him.
Ah Heather, a fight just ruins everything beautiful. I hope, you can both remember what you are there for and the wonderful times you have had with he family. I can't believe that that big girl is our precious little Bea. She certainly is glowing up. Now why do they do that to us grandmas??????
Poor Mike, all alone after the sheep herder takes his sheep back home. I hope he finds a home. Are you allowed to kill them up there. He would make a lot of meals. Sorry ladies. After seeing the carrot that came out of your garden Penny, I assume that all those, luscious veggies came out of store.
I th o a Llamma would protect just be spitting on anyone or anything that tried to mess with whatever they are guarding!
I don't know if it was depression after having a failure day yesterday or what but I sure woke up totally out of sorts. Didn't want to eat a thing, a little dizzy, a little nauseated. So for supper I had a bowl,of rice and toast. Yeah, I know otoscope half of the BRAT diet but that's all I had.
So after supper I did feel better. I know I should have gotten up and showered but Project Runway was going to. Start and I had to watch that. I really don't know why I watch that since I am defiantly fashion forward but I do like to see what people make and how they transform people. But just like last like last week, we have to wait for next week to see the end. Grrrrrr.
Let's see, I was born in 1950 and my brother was going through 'new math' when he was in the 3 Rd grade so that would make me around 13? Anyway, I was the only one who understood the kind of math that was taught then. So I helped him. I also made a good pizza out of the Chef Boy Ardee box. So Paul asked me to marry him. He will never let me forget that. So I had my first marriage proposal at age 13! The next brother probably wrote the book! I know he has written a lot of books on Nuclear subs. I don't know how he came from my parents.
Well Christina's boss bought 3 more trucks in Chattanooga Tennessee and she and two, guys went down to pick them up, she was driving a Ford 350 and could hardly get in it! Her father was so worried about her on the road. He asked me at 11 PM if she texts me that she was home. No she didn't but if he were all that worried and hadn't been on his wII or watching his Fox News all night he could have asked earlier. I just told him that her husband would have let us know. But he still argued that she just doesn't belong on the road by herself. I just said is anyone going to try to jump the bones of a 250 pound woman driving a Ford 350 truck? Her boss has signed a contract to buy a mine in Alloy West Virginaia so she will be finding at least one house there for all the men that will be living there. And buying more trucks.
Who was it that their Mom was an enabler in giving away all her money? Charlie is an enabler in that way also but he also gives it away because he is sorry for all the things he did wrong when they were growing up. They do it to buy friendships and make up for their own shortcomings. But by doing it , they are enablers. He wants me not take Michelle's money each month that is part of our phone contract but she would never think of doing that. She made a contract with me and she is paying it. Now her sister would have jumped at the chance. I would love to give back all the money that Michelle has paid me each month. Since I had better credit, the phone on tract is in my name and she just gives me the cash every month that is her half.
And both of us are ready for the contract to be over. Our batteries are having a hard time keeping. Charge. It is over this month but she wants to wait until Chriatmas sales. I am sure the phone will last that long but not much longer. When I take it off the carter in the morning, it has charged to about 40% and quickly goes down from there.
