    You are beautiful and beam and I wish I had you next door as a buddy. You are a wonder and a role model to many of us. Tell me now, how is your knee pain? Though I am diagnosed with moderate osteo arthritis in both knees, I find it restricting. A fifteen to twenty minute walk after a full day of work is about all I can manage. Tylenol arthritis does not cut it and am not willing to use anything stronger that may be addictive. How did you deal with knee pain?

    How fun is this!? I imagine you've got life by the horns now!
    I'm curious what your maintenance calories have been?

    Do what you can and don't push through the pain to the point it can injure you further. The more weight I dropped the less my knees bothered me. They are still an issue. They grind in some positions. I literally have to walk/run at a 2.5 incline to keep them at a 'comfort level'. Sounds strange... but try it. You may also notice a level that seems to take some of that pressure off....

    Thanks!! Yeah, I finally seem to have a handle on how to maintain. I maintain with 1500 calories during the week (Monday through Thursday) Since Sept I have taken my weekends off... I don't weigh, log or calculate anything Friday through Sunday and then back to it on Monday. This has worked well for me.

    I really do appreciate that! When I first reached goal, I was complimented quiet often... not so much anymore. Now folks are becoming familiar with how I look. I know I worked hard and yes, I am proud of the changes I have made & conquered. I do feel much healthier & happier too! Thank you again!!

    @SuesNewImage, My self esteem is much better, yes. It has been a process though. Losing that much weight changes you physically and the mental part has to play catch up. I still have days... but I probably always will. I was obese for more than 23 years. My oldest son will be 24 in October and last year was the first time he's ever seen me this size.

    Wow. @ChelleDee07 You are one amazing woman. I love your sense of adventure and fun, even before you lost the weight. But now, you are truly an inspiration! Congrats! Not only on the loss but the maintenance!

    Congrats, you truly are an inspiration. Do you struggle with loose skin or did it retract pretty good? I'm currently 36lbs from goal having started at 363lbs! Im worried that the skin is my next hurdle

    @dhiammarath , Thank you for such kind words. I really appreciate them more than I can say.

    @bigmanatee , Thank you and I sure will. I think it is important for others to see that it is a lifestyle change and it is possible to maintain.

    @adotbaby , Thank you!! Means a lot!

    @saresimsr36 , I do have some loose skin, but it is nothing like I thought it would be. I started doing some strength training and I know that helped to minimize it. My gym offers free classes with a personal trainer and I utilized those. I know that part of it is based on genetics, but I truly believe that taking the classes and working on areas other than just cardio made a difference. I have bat wings, I have the mama pooch (but I also had three 10lb babies). Again... it's not that bad though and I'd do it all over again!!

    @nevermind18 , Thank you for your kind compliments. Yes, my husband was/is very proud. He didn't change his lifestyle with me, but he was my biggest supporter & cheerleader for sure! Oh yes... we love our dachshunds and Brissy and Ollie are both spoiled rotten. Thank you for saying that... This is why I share my story. To inspire and motivate others.
