10 Day Goal: Same as last 2 round. 148.3 This will make me 15 lbs. down since the start of my weight loss. Also hoping to up my activity this week to counteract the Thanksgiving meal we are panning on having with friends this weekend.

11/19 - 149.16 This should be normal fluctuation since I have been sticking with the plan. Went to the pub for a drink last night, but we walk there and back which is about .5 mile. The cold and early darkness is making it difficult to get my walks in, but I am determined to keep at it as long as I'm able.

I’ve done a few of these challenges now and not managed to lose anything. On the plus side I’ve not put on either - so that’s a win for me. I’m going to really focus this time round. My goal will have to be maintenance because I’m away with friends next weekend. Here goes!

I'm in. This is my first day as a 53yo. And as I look at my calendar since Jan, I've lost and gained the same 12 pounds over and over again. Sure, some of the gains were due to road trips, but most were caused by late hours and bar food on the way home.
I know birthdays are a cliché, but it is this one that has hit me pretty hard. Is this who I want to be, and how I want to look, for the rest of my life? Do I want to keep being the pudgy boss?
No. No, I don't. I don't fail in my work life. And I am no longer going to fail at this. Thanks for posting the challenge!

Let's see if this can get me motivated I certainly have been struggling. Seeing a personel trainer tomorrow and will sign up twice a week for six weeks before our winter vacation in Hawaii, I know and have seen personel trainers before but maybe a push is once again needed......I am female 57 office job ......help

11/19 258.2 I have been stuck for awhile give or take a couple of pounds. Time to get the needle headed in the right direction again. The holidays are a concern because I typically put on about 10 from Thanksgiving to New years and I can't afford to do that anymore. My goal this year is to actually lose 5 during that span, now thats gonna be a challenge. Have a great round everyone.

I've decided that I am going to eat at maintenance/refeed for 2/7 days a week, which is why I am going to start using my average weight. I want to offset hormonal changes that occur when losing weight for extended periods of time that can make it harder to lose and maintain weight and I'm hoping to alleviate potential emotional stress of constantly being in a deficit.

11/19--221.5 2lb increase over yesterday. I hit the trifecta of temporary weight gain--ate at maintenance, did not drink enough water, and worked out. Eating at maintenance today. I'm going to do some stretching today to help with the soreness from my kettlebell workout.

Back again! I started midway through Round 2 at 153.9 on 4/29. For this round I'd like to get below and stay below 140. Started at 162 something back in early March so I'm down over 20 pounds but haven't lost in a couple of months. I am aiming to reach goal of 132 before New Years. It's been verrry slow the last couple months.

Might as well try this. Just got back from a 5 day cruise and after I got in the boat I found my swimming trunks didn’t feel right - too tight. I’ve gained about 15 lbs in the last 90 days with the birth of three grandchildren (gonna blame it in them). I need to drop about 65 lbs so I can watch them grow up.

For those who were asking about how to manipulate stuff for posting. Well, each of us old hands has developed our own method. Here's mine.
1. I keep my squib as a Google doc. You could write it up on your computer using Word or whatever. I just happen to have it on my Google drive.
2. Each morning, I weigh myself and edit the last line of that doc.
3. Then I go in to the challenge and pick up where I left off reading what the rest of you have said. When you return to the challenge, it automatically comes up with the last thing you read.
4. When I get to the end, I copy my doc and paste it -- like I'm about to do right now.1 -
