Let's all take a minute to reflect that:

We are less than a month away until all of the 90’s kids are officially adults.

Ok, at first I thought, wow, that's cool! Then it turned to....no....I'm old! I'm about to turn 36. My 33 year old trainer was saying he was old. When people younger than me call themselves old-it makes feel ANCIENT! but at least this year I will reach my health goals & I will be old, but fit & healthy!! (Trying to motivate myself here to actually succeed hahaha)

I am trying really hard to ignore the fact that I am a few years away from 40! I am not that old! I'm not! I'm not! I'm not! So there!

    No you're not! You're young & spunky!

(Who else is now thinking about Punky Brewster?)

I said when I turned 30 I would get my first tattoo... and I did. On my birthday Early oct , i got inked, and loved it. I felt like it was really relaxing...which I need lol. I plan for several more, but this is my first tattoo, and has a ton of meaning to me. I even got to show and talk to the band about it at a concert in Ca. In Oct. ... it was invigorating. They told my husband who was there with me, (he’s at every show with me) “ How do you feel about your wife having 3 other men’s names tattooed on her?!?” Jokingly, It was funny.

So there’s my turning 30 story...besides that it freaked me out leaving my 20s.

36 isn't old, FYI. You're in your mid-30s and can expect to live until 81 (average life span for a women) You should have another 50-60 years before you should feel old.

@iluvhanson I'm sorry your thread got shredded. People can be really insensitive on here sometimes. Good for you, stepping outside of your comfort zone takes guts!

Oh, and I am also an October baby! Libra rules (very diplomatically and not wanting to offend anyone or become confrontational about it)!

I don't have much of my 30s left just a cple years and I wonder will that effect me in anyway. 30s have been the best times so far and I'll go out rocking them I anticipate.

I can relate. Teen years, Eh .. some good, a lot bad. My 20's were more about having to grow up (in some situations, too soon) so I felt cheated that while others appeared carefree and having fun, I was busy "adulting". Bleh ...

I had a hard time turning 30. I may or may not have cried and spent a day or (or three) feeling sad, angry, totally down in the dumps. I was not remotely excited about 30. Others were for me, (and I so wanted to slap everyone.) But as the 30's moved on, I felt like I began to know me a lot better. I still have problems or struggles but I (mostly) try to pick my battles anymore. Keyword, *try*.

This was my experience as well.

Turning 30 was rough for me but I got over it lol and here we are :)

I was so depressed on my 30th b’day lmao. I cried and binged on chicken wings. It really wasn’t a big deal in retrospect. I just felt like I was so behind in life and I still feel like that sometimes, but everyone’s path is different. I’m not in competition with anyone but myself.

I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas!!!

I was just thinking you know you’re “old” when you’ve seen both Clueless and Titanic on opening night. :D:D Clueless is SUCH a great movie. <3 I love Titanic too (Leo mania!!) but Clueless is superior imo.
