Well as I figured way too much junk food and a very late night with my cousin. When I finished my diary for yesterday this morning it said “if every day were like today, in 5 weeks I would weigh 190! That is 10 pounds more! I obviously wouldn’t eat like that regularly. My stomach is rumbling this morning because of it.

Today I will be driving back home and probably won’t eat anything until I’m on the road.

We are so happy to see you back ... we missed you. But I am so very sorry to hear of your mothers death. Losing a parent is so very hard, especially if it is unexpected. We have had a lot of tragic events on this thread .... but we are all here for each other, which is the wonderful thing about this group of online friends. Hugs to you, and welcome back. Take good care of yourself.

@mytime6630 ... Heyyyyy!!!! Awww thank you for thinking of us. She is heavily sedated, so she hasn't awakened. However, upon speaking with them this morning, they have removed two drips from her... Im not doubting God's ability to raise her up off that bed. There's nothing too hard for God.

JESCHEPP Great! I am just jealous, jealous jealous, er, proud, proud, proud of you.
i went to the pool yesterday and exercised all by myself.
Today we have a hectic schedule so sort of have my hair sticking out everywhere.
Gotta keep calorie count going, drink a bunch, try to see if exercise can be done, and get kid thru his school day. AND if possible, mow a bit before the rain comes.
well, howdy and good-bye. Hoping the Florence event does not bother any of you here.

Thank you! It’s taken a lot of ups and downs and missteps :) and I’m still on the journey. Good luck with your goals today!

    Sorry not really posting much.
Been feeling really poorly the last few days.

My back is still on agony. Nothing seems to ease it. Just rang the pharmacy to find out how much codeine/paracetamol is and her answer was she can't tell me the price because I need to speak to the pharmacist, so I need to come in to the pharmacy. What dumb logic is that. Oh and she wasn't near the desk to find out how much they were, lazy b!tch
Yeah just make the person in pain walk.
She must of thought I was a crack head or something. Seeing as it's opiate based.

But anyway when the paracetamol wears off from doing nothing and it gets even worse I then get a bout of shaking chills. My teeth actually chatter.
So that's a bit weird. I really should go to the GP but I just don't really want to! I'm tired. I don't have the energy to go.

You all know me anyway I get miserable as anything when I'm not well!

Oh no Bex! There is nothing worse than back pain! But whats this about shaking and the chills??? You need to call a doctor ... this sounds like more than just back pain! Take good care .... tell you partner you need some special attention and pampering!! :) Hugs :)

AARGGH -- went out to mow for exercise and to beat the storm. Along came 2 little fellers who wanted to mow. I spent the time knowing they would get hurt and just hoping the mower would run out of gas. Finally I said it was getting dark and I had to go. Cute but...where was the momma that did not come looking for them? Stayed in the calories, thinking I am short of drinking water, and struggling with son's classes. Tomorrow will surely be a better day. Today was lovely and no sign of any storm.

Today was a milestone for me. I finally hit 175 pounds! This is meaningful because 1) it is the halfway point to my weight goal since I started in January-hooray! and 2) this is the weight I can never get to, and then become disheartened and pack the pounds back on. To me this marks the point of no return. From here, I feel, I have shifted from the pattern of ups and downs and half commitments toward a life of healthy eating, and a default of healthy habits. Proud of myself on this one!

YOU GO, GIRL!!! You should be proud of yourself! We are ALL proud of you! Nice job!

Sleepless in London here! I have got to sort myself out it is just not sustainable to only have 3-4 hours sleep every night. It’s like I fall asleep no problem but once I’m awake that’s it. And it’s always too early. Tried to nap yesterday but it didn’t work. I think I need to make early nights a non-negotiable September priority because I just can’t stay asleep.

It's terrible when you don't get enough sleep, especially more than one evening in a row! I simply cannot function well at all...my brain is fuzzy, I eat everything in sight (nothing healthy though) and am so crabby!

I hope you get a good night's sleep tonight. Take a good book to bed with you early and read until your eyes cross! :)

Hi all! @Bex953172 I hope you're feeling better! And @maryrobinson40 way to crush that step goal!
Pretty good day today. It started with several fires I had to put out, but somehow it all came together by the end of the day. I've set a goal for sticking to a good sleep schedule. This means heading to bed as close to 9/9:30 as I can (to allow for some relaxing reading) and up with the alarm (no snooze no excuses!) at 6am. I'll be adding this to my daily check-ins for accountability. Made a new very tasty Pinterest recipe tonight, I'll add the link here. If you're not a spice fan, I'd really cut back on the pepper spices, or leave them out. But so very tasty I had to share! Pretty healthy as well.

    :(

So today I feel worse not better. I woke up with a headache. I have to walk to school today as we dismantled our sofa last night and put it in the car to take to the recycling centre. And it's raining.

I would give anything to be in bed right now

    1. Log all food! :)And I managed to be in the green!
    2. Bring lunch to work :)Salad topped with chicken and watermelon
    3. Clean a bit before work :DKinda. I threw away a bunch of bottles and bags that were hanging around
    4. Work 915-515 :)Got there at 930 but on the days I go in late that's okay.
    5. Call ND and OFP on my break! :|We didnt get a break and it was pouring out all day so I couldn't step outside to make the phone calls
    6. Refill DH's meds :DTotally forgot about that. I'll do it as soon as I finish this.
    7. Decide on dinner and actually make it! :):)Because I had extra time before work I decided to chop up some veggies and chicken and make a soup in my crock pot. It was super yummy! A bit too spicy but I balanced that out by adding a bit more salt. And it's seriously low calories. 150 cal per 1 cup serving!
    8. Dishes right after dinner! :D...ended up drinking a beer too fast to try and help with the spiciness so the dishes had to wait about an hour until I felt okay. Lol
    9. DH time :)
    10. Tech off by 10:15 :)Was in bed before 930!
    11. Bed by 11 :)See above

Work was annoying yesterday. It wasn't a horrible day by any means but we had technical difficulties as soon as I got there and then it was just super slow. It was a terrible day out. Cold, rainy and raw and the gloominess didnt help our moods. Also, LM ended up leaving for a couple of hours so by the time she got back we dint really have time to get breaks. Granted it was gross enough out to keep me indoors during it but it still would have been nice to get a few minutes to myself. But alas, hopefully, today will be better. It's supposed to rain for like the next 10 days or something but warm up a bit I think.

As for my evening...it was really really nice after work. The soup was really good. I spent time on the couch with the DH. We didnt even really do anything. He played video games and I shopped for cheap clothes. Lol. We ended up going to bed well before 930. Neither could fall asleep right away so we had a good chat and some nice time together just goofing around. I feel like sometimes that is really needed in a marriage. Especially a young marriage like ours.

It is now 7:06 am. I should probably write my goals and maybe attempt to get ready for work. Lol

    1. Log all food. Be accountable!
    2. ORDER MATT'S INHALER
    3. Move quilt
    4. Call ND/OFP!!!!
    5. Pack lunch
    6. Leftover soup for dinner
    7. Talk to DH about medical leave
    8. Dinner right after dishes
    9. DH time
    10. Early night

I hope everyone has a great day!
