Started Beta Cycle- Core Cardio this morning. Really enjoyed it!! The pace is alot faster which makes doing the moves easier. Only had to follow Tanya with one of the moves. Started Alpha phase weighing in at 142 & this mornings I weighed 129 so I lost 13 pounds during Alpha phase. Im really looking forward to the Upper Focus CD. My triceps really need some toning!!

Week 9 Rip't complete! Traveling all last week was rough (Tues-Fri at a work conference, then Fri-Sun for an out of town wedding), but I took my discs and resistance band with me. I was pretty good about what I ate at the conference, but gave myself a weekend off of tracking for the wedding. I am SO ready to be back eating healthy, though! I'm making myself wait until Wednesday before I step on the scale, in hopes that whatever water weight I'm sporting due to eating out so much will drop off.

Welcome! Sounds like a good plan and if you've been doing some fitness before T25 then yes you should be able to throw in runs/walks too! I do!!!
  • LOVE IT! COMPLETED THE FIRST 10 WEEKS AND STARTING BACK OVER AGAIN TODAY!

no i didn't. I was going to get it but i thought since i already have clx, i will go back to that. I do really like T25 and may just get gamma for the new year. my body fat was between 22-23% and i dropped about 1% with T25 so i am between 21-22% now.

I am still learning. My goal right now is 17% BF which is the higher end of the fitness range for men. For women the equivalent is 24% so you would definitely be considered pretty fit at this point.

I think T25 Alpla and Beta is really great for taking someone like me who has a higher BF%, in my case 26.3%, and helping to whip them into shape. For somone who is already fit those cycles might just be good for maintenance or modest improvements.

Clx or T25 Gamma or Insanity etc may be more what you would be looking for.

Have you worked with anything else besides clx and T25?

in the beginning i did 30ds and rin30. then i did slim in 6, clx and t25. now back to clx. now sure what my plans will be for the new year? body beast? gamma? combat? not sure.
  • So happy to have found this thread! I'll be re-starting T25 after a two week bout of bronchitis and a sinus infection. Got about three weeks in and had great results. :)

I started Alpha this morning! Since it is Tuesday and I wanted to stay on schedule, I did Speed 1.0. Hubby didn't bring the set home until after work yesterday and I do an intense Zumba class on Monday nights so I figured that counts as the Cardio for yesterday. I burned 218 in the 25 min! Seems about right since I burn between 600-700 in an hour of Zumba. I can't wait to start seeing/measuring my results!

Thanks, no I did not follow the eating plan. I did however eat some of the 25 "Keep it Real" foods listed in the nutrition guide. (Oatmeal, apples, sweet potatoes, kale, raspberries, broccoli, eggs, tomatoes, chicken breast, salmon, tilapia) Its really hard for me to follow an eating plan, so I just eat healthy foods I like. I LOVE LOVE Quest Protein Bars so I eat one of those in place of a meal sometimes.

I have done it but had to quit due to an injury - the DVD's are hard but so much fun and it's only 25 minutes totally doable.

Thanks for asking about me, unfortunately it is actually worse today. I had to call off work today and went to the chiropractor this morning. He said I had a severe strain/sprain. So it's looking like alot of down time for me this week. I have to rest it and ice. I can tolerate the pain it's the spasms that are killing me. They start in the middle of my back and wrap around my rib cage to the front. They are horribly intense pains and today they are coming almost any time I move. To top it all off today is my hubby and my wedding anniversary (not much of an anniversary now) and I have a job interview tomorrow at a new agency that I do not want to miss  Fingers crossed for me that I feel well enough to get there tomorrow. Hubby and I will delay our celebration to the weekend and hopefully I'm feeling better by then. Thanks again for checking on me, I really appreciate it!

Core Cardio done! Just one and a half weeks left everyone! Woohoo!

On a side note, I just joined a Dietbet starting this friday, so I'm now super-motivated to burn some serious calories in the last week of Beta (and then I think I'll start over and repeat Beta before trying Gamma)

Thanks vhuber! I actually didn't hurt it doing T25, I did it lifting a bag of garbage into the outside can. Must have just twisted weird. I have a very bad habit of over filling garbage bags and it was pretty heavy. We are postponing our anniversary celebration to the weekend.

Looks like everyone is doing great, Keep it up! I can't wait to get back into it. I am NOT liking sitting around.

I have been doing it 3 days now.. I am lovin' it, I am doing the modified version but I can make it all the way through, that was always my problem with the other programs. To out of a shape to last an hour.
