Well ladies I don't think you were as chatty yesterday. Hope you are all OK. Maybe you all are sit out enjoying your pets! I'm not going to post pics of my two sinc I just did a couple of days ago. But I do adore them. Mozart apparently had found a paper towel. And of course he did what he always has done whenever he finds a paper towel. He puts it in his water dish. But this time he brought his wet soggy paper towel to his Daddy. He didn't understand why he was admonished. He has spent a lot of time up on the top level of his cat condo. Charlie pushed back the shears on the side he was perched on so he really enjoyed just looking out the window. So this evening I not only lulled the shears shut but pulled the curtains shut. So poor guy. He is perched up there pawing the curtains to get the, open. I got a little worried because he then starts pawing on the outside up near the valance. But he got bored with that pretty quick and just got down. My 15 pound 3 foot cat just jumped on my lap again. And when me does that, you know he has arrived. Good thing I love this cuddle buddy as much as I do.

Well figure skating is on and is demanding my attention. Sorry ladies, I do love them also.

Day 4. Today was a good day. Accomplished a lot at work and got a run in. The run was a big accomplishment!
In January, I slipped on ice, taking a nasty fall that bruised my tailbone and chipped a bone in my hand. I live in Minnesota and this year we’ve had more ice then normal. The impact was so hard, I had tears in my eyes and was pretty shook up. The worse was yet to come; I had no idea a tailbone could hurt so bad or prevent me from doing so many things, from lifting a laundry basket to how I sit down or stand up. After two and a half weeks of icing and Aleve on a regular basis, I was finally able to ditch the pain meds and one week later I was able to run. Such a great feeling!
I’m still really leery of the ice. This morning we had snow mixed with drizzle making the roads and walkways treacherous. Thankfully work keeps up on the sidewalks so no spills there.
I’ve been reading posts as I can to get to know everyone. This is definitely a very active group!6 -
Husband ate beef noodle hamburger helper, and I fixed MYSELF garlic infused rice, with wilted fresh spinach, and walnuts! I eat like I care! Doing a happy dance with myself!

Hello Ladies. Although I don't post often, I do read all the posts and you're all in my thoughts as each day goes on.
I picked up my 10 year old gr-daughter yesterday, had lunch, followed by a little shopping. I enjoy my time with her so much! She wanted to buy an outfit from build a bear. We got home and after putting the outfit on “Scarlett” she proceeds to trim the hair on the bear. She's done this on a few other dolls, so maybe she's practicing her calling?
It's snowing here which usually melts a little, turns to ice, then top it off with more snow. Our office closed early so everyone could get home safely. Only had a brief moment of “what can I eat?” before deciding a cup of sugar free hot cocoa would satisfy. And it did.

Cheri[/b] - I've been thinking of your son moving to Chicago and what a climate change that will be for him. Best of luck to him! Lots to do in Chicago as I recall, especially for a young person.

SW WA State with light snow falling now and 1 to 3 inches predicted for today.
Tomorrow the movers come to pack up his apartment. He is very happy to be returning to Chicago. He started out there right after college. The hubs has decided to transport his car there over his spring break in March. We will drive it up through Indiana to stop and visit my family then onto Chicago to spend a day with Ben and see his new apt etc. I am happy to have Chicago back on our vacation list. Will miss having our son down the road but this is a wonderful opportunity for him career wise.
We have submitted the paper work to let this rental home go. Started the house hunting process. Nothing of interest yet. Have until July to move out.

Otherwise I'm keeping to my healthy living plan. Not losing weight but feeling good about what I'm doing. At my physical and my gyno appts both doctors noted my lost weight. I also earned enough "fitness points" on my husband's medical plan that I was able to get a new Fitbit Alta HR from my efforts. Have always worn a tracker but having that heartbeat symbol blinking the number really motivates me to a new level.

Day 2 of the tour ... two rides so far with a third coming up. We're exploring!
38.48 km to get to the next town plus another 12 km checking out the area plus ... I'm not sure yet. Out to visit a friend, and back.
This is where we used to live ... one of my favourite parts of Australia.

Up before DH. Will take him up his cup of tea in a few minutes. Normal day today. Breakfast in bed, exercise machines, mat work and weights, getting into running clothes, 5 mins Duolingo, editing my memoir, lunch in front of daytime tv, RUNNING , cup of tea and snack, dinner prep, reading and 5 mins Duolingo, daytime tv, finish off and serve dinner,, dessert, cheese and one piece of chocolate mostly with tv or reading. Bed. Should be a good day.
Sounds very boring to most people, I guess, but two things in there make it amazing to me - the memoir and the running. I still am amazed at myself. :laugh: The excitement comes from inside that I am actually managing to stick at this. Two people this week said I had "stickability". Inside I was laughing as for most of my life I had the opposite - no discipline, no strategy, just chaos and a wing and a prayer. I think joining MFP, getting fit and losing the weight has changed my brain as well as my body. THANK YOU MY FRIENDS!

Hello from Rome! can’t post pix yet, the WiFi is so so. One terrific thing about my travel partner (aka DH) is that trips are not about food, our trip (not vacation) is all about seeing places. We walked 10 miles yesterday, first 7 miles through Ancient Rome Colosseo and the palantine hills where we got lost. DH needed a nap after that, our knees were starting to go, then we walked to the pantheon—amazing, and through the Piaza Navona before bed putting in another 3 miles of walking. Today is all about the Spanish steps, museums and Trevi Fountain.

I'm hoping my GPS watch will arrive today, but it won't be here in time for my run.

Thanks ladies for all you nice comments on my egg. Will do kettlebell and ride stationary bike after breakfast then start my second egg. These are just Styrofoam egg shapes that I pin sequins, beads and other bling on to.
