Grams 300-low 1,000's on most days, usually on the higher end, mostly veg. Today will end up at the high end, largely thanks to a ginormous serving of German style red cabbage. I only discovered that dish in the last month and I'm currently deeply in love with it. ;)

A few years back, I had IBS really bad and had to completely change my way of eating. Veg consumption went way down and for a long time was nearly nothing. I gained a lot of weight (a little over 40 pounds) and was the heaviest I'd ever been. I'm *so* thankful that cleared up last year and I've built back up to my old levels.

Later on I plan on eating some sweet potatoes and possibly a banana.

I did a little better today:
    collard greens, scallions
    1 celery stalk
tomatoes, onions (homemade sauce for pasta)
    apple sauce

Thank you for this thread. I have not realized how poor my fruit/vegetable were lately.

    482g mandarin oranges
    413g sweet potato
    399g broccoli
    438g peas
427g of kidney beans (not sure if people count these in fruits and vegetables -- I don't really track fruits and veggies).

Probably not ideal. Way more mandarins than I usually have.

Generally, beans/legumes can be counted as one serve, even if you ate a lot of them... That's a lot of beans!

Just starting to reintroduce fruit into my life. I had a fat malabsorption issue which caused me to have IBS with fruit and acidic veggies. A while back, I ditched animal fat, and added a lot more fiber. Basically a vegetarian these days. Fixed my booty. No longer a flamethrower. So adding stuff in and experimenting again.

    So today.

Breakfast - 1 cup spinach, 1/4 of an avocado, tablespoon of almonds.
Lunch - Lentil stew loaded with carrots, kale, spinach, coconut milk, tomato.
Snack - 1 whole mini zucchini, 1 cup of baby carrots
    Snack - 1/4 cup blackberries
Post Workout Smoothie - 1/4 cup kale, 1/4 cup blue berries,
Dinner - 2 cups of roasted butternut squash, Topped with my homemade Pineapple / Artichoke Salsa
a roasted shallot, half a cup of raw red cabbage, 1 pickled jalapeno

Have only had breakfast today so far, and it didn’t contain fruit or veggies. But the plan for the rest of the day includes:

    1 beefsteak tomato
    50g cocktail onions
    100g carrot
Assorted mixed veggies in my veggie fritters for lunch
    175g peach
    3 large button mushrooms
    50g broccoli
    20g red onion
Small handful cilantro (this is a herb, does it count???)

A moderate day today, often it’s a little more, depending on the content of my meals!

Is chocolate bunny a fruit or vegetable?

Neither, so you may need to change your eating habits. :)

Black bean soup with pepper and onion, and a big bowl of spinach arugula salad with sautéed pear. Yum!
