4/8 - 63.3kg (+0.1kg) - I had a really tough time personally last round and put on 1.8kg. Looking to get rid of that weight and be back on track by the end of this round.
4/9 - 63.4kg (+0.1kg) - Back on the wagon today. Pre-logged my food and am making plans for the week ahead. Nothing grand, just small and achievable changes.
4/10 - 63.2kg (-0.2kg) - Didn't quite stick to my plan but I did pretty well. Late dinner and a few sweets threw me off but considering the day I had, I am counting it as a win!

R37 goals - To stay on track - hopefully home this week - been away too much recently. Harder than normal as kids still off on Easter holidays this week so work days and hours all over the place. Would like to be back down to 137-ish by the end of this round.
4/8 - DNW - unplanned night away again
4/9 - 139.60 +0.40lb - usual "slightly up" Monday morning post Sunday roast dinner - but on a plus note my Monday highs are a lot lower than they used to be At work all day today so all food prepped and planned and will be easy to drink plenty of water but not home till late so exercise opportunities are nil for today other than a quick lunchtime walk if the rain stops!
4/10 - 140.00 + .40lb ???? Woke up feeling very bloated this morning - food was all good yesterday and in maintenance calories. Having been away for 7 nights over the last 10 and in a car for two days, I needed a day to refuel my body with plenty of water, good food and re-set. That mission was achieved but did have a wholemeal pitta last night with dinner so quite carb heavy for me so can only think its that along with my upped water intake? Pretty sure this is a temporary "gain" though so not too bothered - plenty of water today, gym tonight and hope the bloat will go sooner rather than later as have an end of round target of 137lb..... weight not moved much in the last month just up and down, up and down .....

Nothing works unless you have a sustained calorie deficit over time. Anything will work if you have a sustained calorie deficit over time.
Motivation is overrated. What you need is education, willingness to eat less, a good plan, and discipline to stick to it.
According to Big Fat Myths: When You Lose Weight, Where Does the Fat Go? which is an interesting perspective on "diet" 148oz / 9.25 lbs of food/water/oxygen a day but depending on how efficient everything processes we don't operate on a perfect 24 hour cycle to use all that so you get those fluctuations. I think that is semi comforting to keep in mind we are not robots and CICO doesn't operate at perfect 24 hour scale either.9 -

Alrighty y'all I'm jumping in a day late since we just returned from our trip to Germany! Beer + sausages+ German bread = 5lbs! let's see how fast I can get rid of it.

I've been lifting on and off for about 5 years now, and I think SL 5x5 is a solid program. the app is great for keeping track. Just be careful to learn good form, especially on DL, before adding a lot of weight, in order to prevent injury. Practice at home with videos, in front of the mirror can help a lot with getting your body used to its new kinetic patterns, but you probably knew that if have done a lot a research!
Good luck, I'm planning on getting back into weightlifting soon but I find it makes me very hungry so sometimes its an either/or situation for me.

Day/Weight/Comment
4/8 - 168.2 - Had a girls night last night and while it was extremely fun, I took in a lot of calories through mixed drinks. I kept my dinner healthy but expecting an increase in tomorrows weigh in. Would love to make my goal for this round as I didn't last round so lots of water starting today, health food chooses and lots of gym time.
4/9 - 170.0 - There's the increase I was expecting to see. Woke up with migraine this morning, hoping it'll be gone by this afternoon so I can hit the gym after work. Feel like I've been stuck around this 167-170 weight forever and starting to feel discouraged but I won't give up, just got to keep myself motivated.
4/10 - 170.0 - Still have the migraine and not feeling well this morning. Wasn't expecting for a good weigh in this morning but the scale not going up is a win in my book. Wish I could get down to the weight I started round 36 at and never see 170 again. Healthy packed lunch, lots of water, gym and healthy home cooked meal for dinner tonight is the plan.

Goal for this round. Honestly, I just don’t know. I still won’t have a kitchen that is functional for another 2-3 weeks. I’m hoping I can shave off a little, but with eating out so much, I should be happy to maintain. But I’m NOT happy to just maintain because I'm only 5-6 pounds from a "Normal" BMI, so let’s try for a small loss. 154.x
Day/Weight/Comment
Rd 36 EW = 156.6
4/8 = 155.4 Starting off with a sizable loss. Yay! Now if I can keep it going this round.
4/9 = 154 I’m sure there will be a bounce, but I’m excited about this!
4/10 = 154.8 This always happens when I lose 2-3 pounds in a day or two. As long as the trend remains falling, I don’t worry about it.
