Terry, thanks, it has thinned somewhat, especially around the temples and because I have my white streak, I can see my scalp thru the white hairs. Hopefully, this cut will st o some breakage I have been having by pulling it back into a pony tail 24/7!

Took the deep water class today. The plan for tomorrow is to do the “I Want That Body” DVD. Then the Green Room then we need more bleach for the pool (we only have one case) so afterwards I need to get 2 more cases. I get it there because it has the right concentration.
Barbie – lovely fence. You should be very proud of it.
Rye – I’m hoping that they don’t mess up my hair too badly today. Even if they do, hey, it’s hair, it’ll grow back out. And I’ll never go back, that’s IT.
Lately, no matter what I do, I’ve been getting these “rolls”. I don’t know if it’s the Lamictal or the fact that I’m now in meno that’s causing this. Wish I could get it to go away. Anyone else have this problem with rolls? I never used to have them. My eating is fairly decent, most days under calories. You know that I exercise a lot – mainly because I believe this helps with the osteoporosis.
Lisa – welcome to a great place
Wendy – is there something that repels carpenter bees? Or at least annoys them enough so that they don’t go somewhere?
I want everyone to know that I truly appreciate your comments about my food diary. Even tho I don’t often comment on someone else’s, I do look at them to try to get ideas
Exercised then went to get my haircut. Got a chin wax. I’d forgotten they also do lip waxes so I got that and a brow tint. I’m pretty happy with the haircut. Admitted, it was mainly just a trim. Now home and WAIT FOR IT – check valve in, flow meter in, 7 gallons of bleach in the pool and 1 in the spa. We’re on our way! YEA!!!!
Tonight ceramics
NYKaren – love the idea of blinging out the boot. Wish I’d done that when I needed to wear one. Tell me about how hard maintenance is
Welcome to the world AJ!!!
Re: drinking water. You name the store and I can tell you where the bathroom is….lol I do find that if I have unbuttered airpopped popcorn, that makes me want to drink. Also anything very spicy. And, of course, the bran muffins. I can usually have at least 24oz with ½ of a muffin
Carol – my hubby is so OCD, that it has to be done HIS way. Which is OK. Like today he was telling me how to get the leaves off the net from the pool and how I should shake it. What difference does that make? As long as I shake it and the leaves come off. So for that I just stand there in silence and then do it my way.
Fineaswine – welcome back! So sorry for all you went thru with Hurricane Harvey
Jackie – welcome! Bookmark this page so you can always get back. Just hit the star above (the one above the magnifying glass) and it will turn yellow
Katla – you’re not the only one who wishes we had DST all year long. Jess does in school

April - How'd I do?
Didn't do well with my goals for April.
1. Carbs 50-75g, max 25g per meal.
2. Fiber 30g.
3. Log & COMPLETE MFP diary daily.
4. Vegetables - 3-5 servings
5. Exercise - log 30 Fitbit minutes.
6. No eating after 9pm.
7. In bed by midnight.
8. Declutter more stuff.
Tracking I've made an effort to track and complete the entry daily in MFP.
I think I'll go back to basics.
May Goals
• Drink my water
• Carbs 50g daily
• Track my food
• 30 active minutes daily
• Work on sleep
Water. I was inspired by someone to drink 16 ounces of water when I wake up - before coffee or anything else. I've been doing that for a few weeks now. It's helping me drink more water. Priming the pump... so to speak.
Carbs. I'll try 50g max daily again. I was more successful doing that before.
Walk 30. I haven't done this. I did 23 minutes yesterday though so I'm starting.
Track.More diligent in May.
Sleep. I'm tracking it and trying to work my way back to reasonable sleep/wake times. Wake time was 2:30 for a while. Woke before 1:30pm in the last 2 days.
Let's have a great May everyone. ❤

Heather: I agree that staying hydrated is important. My favorite for hydration is sparkling water. It is fizzy, but has no artificial sweeteners. Regular water is in second place. I am happy to hear that you're beginning to feel a bit better. Yay!
Becca: I used to love it when mom took my ponytail down at the end of the day. That felt sooo good. You brought back a great memory of my mom, and the reminder of how good it felt for her to take my ponytail out at the end of the day.
I just watched The Parent Trap on TV. Hayley Mills, and Halyey Mills, Maureen O'Hara & Brian Keith. I liked it as a kid, and enjoyed the memories this evening. Leo G. Carol played the minister. I loved him as Topper in the TV series and as the minister in Parent Trap, too.

Lenora About the stuck rings. Did you try the trick of using dental floss to wrap your finger from the ring to a point above the knuckle? Search YouTube for how-to videos. It seems to work for lots of people.

Hi Sisters, it was a lovely day here. I have been in the saddle most of the day. First did a two hour farm ride with my Asperger's student, then did a sunset ride at the beach with another student. Sometimes I am the luckiest most blessed person alive!

Last night some colleagues and I went out to a restaurant for the first time in a long time and didn't drink alcohol and didn't miss it one bit! We split little apps, hummus, samosas and an amazing cauliflower tapas, it was so tasty and very satisfying.
Another hot day, last night we tried to open windows and pull down the screens, epic fail, luckily we're getting windows replaced in about a month, nick of time. I'm thinking about buying sheer blinds to add a little soft lighting and privacy to the room, it does get a nice bit of light.
Day 3 of being back on the wagon, so far so good.
NYKAREN9 -
Michelle - You've mentioned before that you don't weigh your food. How do you know you are staying within your calorie goal if you aren't weighing your food? If you are struggling with just a few pounds, I think the quickest "fix" would be to weigh everything for a few days and see if you are accurate in your guess of what you are eating. I know when I weighed an apple I was shocked that what I thought would be a small apple was actually considered a large apple. That alone was enough calories that it would have put me over my daily goal with just the difference in that one item. Sometimes we get lucky and it goes the other way too, when we weigh something it is actually smaller when we use grams to log it than the generic medium sized whatever we were using.
NYKaren - Yeah for you! You had a great NSV at the restaurant with friends. I am amazed at all the ways you can order cauliflower now. Great job on getting back on the wagon.
Wendy - Yeah for a great day riding!
Terry - I think a bedazzled boot is a great idea!! You have have the artistic eye to make it look great.
As for me, I continue to wait for my whoosh! I am almost finished with phase one of my project for work. I think I will get it sent off today. I will then start on phase two which is much smaller and should get completed next week if I don't turn over any more rocks with problems hiding under them. Hubs will be home tomorrow and it looks like he will be home all next week! Yeah for 10 days of him being home!
I can't remember who asked if there is room on my patio for more, of course! Pull up a chair! There is always room for one more! We always have way too much food (which is great for my freezer) and plenty of beverages!
Okie in the TX Hill Country6 -
Hi ladies, already over this boot! My arms are sore from using a walker to get around when I don’t have the boot on and am trying to stay off my foot. Only use it to go to the bathroom at night rather than strap on the boot. It’s going to be a long 3 weeks.
Guess I should set some May goals. April was a disaster.
Goals: drink more water, lose 5 lbs and track for the whole day not just start out the day tracking and then fizzle out.
Well that’s about it. Guess I better think about getting ready for work.

Hi,
Am behind. Will catch up. Just about the time I am feeling caught up, I get knocked down. Had a strange episode yesterday at work. Was doing great, taking care of customers, estimates were called, parts orders in, just needed to call folks to let them know their mowers were done. All of a sudden I got light headed and nauseous. Thought drop in blood sugar, so fixed lunch. Took one bite. Gently pushed customer out of way on way to bathroom. Diarrhea and vomiting. Felt I was going to pass out. Wanted to curl up on bathroom floor. After about 20 mins, came out, grabbed my purse, came home. Barely said bye to anyone. Water, tea with honey, and heavy blanket as I got cold. Slept off and on. Woke up with migraine. Managed dinner then rested rest of night. It was scary and strange. Hoping today is better! Will stop for some electrolyte water on way to work. Hoping was just heat/water related.
Welcome to May!

Congrats to all success large or small

Good morning! Happy Thursday! Another rainy morning, here. I brought the recycle bin upstairs so that the kids can rummage through and make what ever they want out of the millions of cardboard tubes, jars, containers, stickers, stamps, labels, etc. Hoping for a day like yesterday; the rain stopped about 10:30am and the sun was out for the rest of the day, so we were able to get out and make a chalk "village" on the driveway.
Mary-Baby AJ! Congrats! Is this a younger brother to the twins?
Felicia or Lanette- I think the greenhouse belonged to one of you? It is gorgeous!
Barbie and Rori-Ugh! The infamous photo box (or boxes)! I have one that I have been intending to get organized. We probably all have one. Maybe this summer, I will get to that. I need to begin scanning and putting it all on a stick, drive, or some sort of "saving" device before age takes some of the photos away from me.
Terri- Definitely decorate that boot! I think you should turn it into a SUPERHERO boot! Use some velcro and attach a cape to the back of it!

OH! I have a fox family close to my house! I can hear them in the evening, and I have also seen one of the adults walking past my house! It strolled along my fence line and crossed my yard (then the street) the past two evenings (about 6:30pm). THEN, I saw it again this morning about 6:30am, following the same path! Yea! Haven't seen them in such a long while, I thought they had gone!6

Contacted another agent today. Trying my best.
Today is local election day, so I will RUN to the polling station to do my civic duty. It is purely a duty in this constituency as nearly everyone votes for the incumbents - not our choice.
The weather has taken a turn for the better. Supposed to be great for our Bank Holiday on Monday.
Will throw out most of our travel guides this pm. We have shelves full of Rough Guides for places we've been to. All out of date now. Will keep a few others with pretty pictures.
I sooooooooooooo want to get going on this move. Very frustrating.
My poor Portsmouth/York friend is struggling in her new part time job she started this week. Divorce solicitor. She is 69 and doing it for the money. She last worked last year. Sad texts from her. She is the worst time/money manager I have ever met.

Happy Thursday! Here comes an epistle, lol.
Terry – look at you in your boot. At least now you have more information as to what you’re dealing with regarding that ankle. Maybe Pip will let you take the east coast as far as applying the boot to any of us who need a kick to get us back on track. Yes, add some bling. I don’t think Pip has decorated hers.
I have never heard of Healthwarehouse.com, so checked out the website. We have been using GoodRX.com to buy prescription drugs locally by just printing a coupon. I see 30 pills of Gabapentin is $15 at Healthwarehouse.com. Using GoodRX and printing their coupon, we can get the same thing at a local Fred Meyer for $4.46, or at Walmart in town for $8.04. 90 tablets of the same stuff is $11.04 at Safeway in town (no idea why they don’t offer the 30 pills). Our doctor told us about it.
Barbie - what a gorgeous fence and a peaceful, tranquil spot you folks have created. Well done!
Katla – I too am a fan of the sparkling water. Nice and fizzy and no calories – gives me a nice burp but doesn’t taste like beer, lol. The Parent Trap was one of my favorite movies as a kid and I badgered my mom to take me to the beauty shop so I could have my hair cut like Hayley Mills – my first “paid for” haircut.
Karen in VA – always love seeing your photos. Olivia is such a cutie. My heart breaks for those of you who have lost grandchildren and became estranged from your children as a consequence. What a sad, sad situation when you all need to comfort each other. ((HUGS))))
Machka - thinking of you lots and always glad to get the updates on your DH. Sounds like you are putting in some long days now. I can't remember what your winters are like - chilly? Rainy? Just cool?
Mary – so glad AJ has arrived. Good job on the kettlebells!
CRAP - the 2nd half of my post didn't show up here.
Anyhow, sending good thoughts to all of you!!!

Machka - thinking of you lots and always glad to get the updates on your DH. Sounds like you are putting in some long days now. I can't remember what your winters are like - chilly? Rainy? Just cool?
Thanks!
Adding work into the mix has meant ultra-long days. It's often 10-12 hours from the time I leave home to the time I get back home again. And then I've got homework and other things to do in the evenings.
Plus stress insomnia. Oddly, the stress insomnia started about a week ago. I expected it closer to the beginning of all this but it waited till now for some reason. My stress insomnia means that I go to bed and fall asleep within seconds. Then 2-3 hours later, I'm awake and it takes me 1-2 hours to go back to sleep again. If I've only got, say, 7.5 hours in which to sleep, taking 2 hours out of the middle of that doesn't leave me much sleep. In other words, I've had about 5-6 hours of sleep each night this week.
Plus emotion ... I've been extra emotional this week.
I'm dead tired.
Our winters are kind of like the winters in the Pacific Northwest ... chilly, rainy, windy, sometimes icy, snow down to 1000 metres quite frequently, snow down to 500 metres occasionally, snow down as low as sea level on rare occasions. Temps can drop below freezing at night, but usually right around 0. Daytime highs might only be 5C ... or can get up to 15C once in a while. Feels colder with the wind and rain.

Sending love and (((HUGS))) to Machka.
I ran to the polling station with DH walking beside me, voted and ran back home. Then decided to run up to the top of our lane with DH walking , which is quite a long incline. DH went off on his afternoon walk and I ran back down hill. All in all 34 mins I wasn't anticipating to add to my day's tally. I love having my 'bonus' calories in hand. That's how I've lost the 'creep' that had added to my maintenance weight. 6 lbs since January 1st.
I am still eating exactly the same for maintenance as I was for losing. My body seems to have got used to my CICO. That's why I had to boost my expenditure to lose the weight. I'm burning 800-900 most days. I eat around 1800.
For those of you who are new, please don't think I started as an exerciser. I used to HATE it, apart from swimming and dancing very occasionally. I used to loathe getting hot and sweaty. I started slowly, burning 200 on my machines most days and thought I would kill myself. Now, 7 years since I started exercising, I have reached a decent level. I astonish myself and my DH , who thought I was destined for a crippled and immobile old age. I could barely walk 200 yards without getting out of breath. I was in pain all the time, especially in bed. 7 years later I am 20 years younger.
Just do what you can. The important thing is to get slightly out of breath and feel you have really exerted yourself, at whatever level you are at. That could be just walking slowly to the post box if you are very big and unfit. Or it could be a 10 k run. Most people are not doing nearly enough because they are staying within their comfort zone. Also, try to pick something you actually enjoy. Running has been a revelation to me, because I always thought my left knee wouldn't stand it. Well, it can as long as I run in a straight line. No cross country for me.
For the newbies, I am 68, so no spring chicken.

Good morning. Been to gym. I love our Planet Fitness. First gym I've ever felt comfortable using! Strength trading and 30 min cardio.

Margeretturk I love the Art I Bloom especially the peachy-pink flower arrangement!
Katiebug, I like your new vanity. I would like to redo our bath soon. The so called handy man set tile in there and its real pretty, but he used plain mortar to grout it so it’s breaking loose. We need to get it regrouted with proper sanded grout or rip it out. We put a grey rustic laminate in the master bath, so I might do the same in there.
I’m with you Wendy! I will always have longish hair. I just look hideous with short hair and will never do it again!
Hello LisaMR63! Let us know about yourself. I’m 69 and retired, living in Hot Springs, Arkansas. We retired from Austin, Texas, about 2 ½ years ago. 3 grown kids, 10 grands, and a coonhound named Dolly.
We like the outdoors and try to walk and hike in the Ouachita Mountains nearby and enjoy nature.
Barbie, your new fence looks fantastic! Yes scanning is a procedure to say the least! I don’t scan unless I have to. I can get really good shots on my iPad or iPhone. I have done that pretty good. But yes a document I scan. The trouble here is that my printer is in the bedroom and I have the laptop on the kitchen table. I’m planning to clean out the end of the laundry room for a small office space. (it’s 24’ x 7’ with 2 nice windows) It will be much easier to have everything on the same table. I love to scrapbook, so I take photo prints and do one or two pages of an event. I like the creativity involved and I can look through them without all the electronics! There’s something about handling paper and books!
Felicia, I love your greenhouse! All new and shiny! Ours is built onto the basement back side of the house. One panel of glass is broken so leaves have blown in and the rain flooded the floor. Luckily there is a drain to the outside and water in there so I can clean it up and hose it out. That’s another project for sure. I did have a cherry tomato plant and it did well and I also winter my tender plants in there too.
Trish Extreme cut out jeans? What the heck!!
Mary AJ is so precious! What a cute lillemand!
Rebecca, I love your selfie! You look great!
Wendy, Beautiful picture of the beach and horse! YOU ARE LUCKY! Love love love!! I really miss having horses! There are three horses down the street. I was thinking of asking the owners if I can stop and pet them or bring them carrots or apples.
Kylia, I hope you feeling much better today! That sounded awful!
My gabapentin cost me $10 copay at Walgreens for 270/mo. Yes I take 2700mg a day! I’m so lucky we have great insurance with the State of Texas.
It’s going to rain any time now. The wind is picking up. Another strong storm. Hail is what scares me because we can’t get the cars in the garage yet. It’s taking a long time to clean it out since we moved in September 2015. It’s so full of boxes. My DH really can’t clean it up without me since most of it is my stuff! I hope I can get to it soon, since I had the injection in my back as long as I don’t lift anything more than 20 lbs.
I didn’t do too badly for April. I lost 5 lbs., but went up 2 lbs. I’m sure it was a lot of water weight since I was just getting back to MFP. So I’ll take the 3 lbs. for April! Yeah me!
May goals:- Drink and log water
- Stretching as recommended by PT
- Get more sleep, turn off electronics
- Walk and get outside more
- Track and log food in MFP
- Watch the sugar intake
- Measure the fat stuff! Half/Half, butter, peanut butter.
- Continue organizing files and shredding
Have a Happy Thursday!

Good Morning! It's a beautiful, sunny day here and I'm feeling fabulous! I'm happy to report that the first two days of this month have been successful with my new goals! I expect today will be the same! I haven't caught up on the post yet because, I had a really busy day yesterday because I'm redoing my kitchen and I spent it out appliance shopping. I bought a new Bosch dishwasher and I can't wait for it to be installed because the one I have was not a great one to begin with but it came with the house and it's so noisy that I'll be happy to see it go! The fridge I'm looking at is an LG side by side with door in door and the stove is a Thor Kitchen Pro Style 5 burner gas with convection oven and I'm just over the hill happy about that! I love to cook and having a brand new kitchen will be wonderful. So here's what I have to say about what I have read. I'll try to do better today! LOL
@GodMomKim That fur baby profile shot is SO adorable. I love animals, especially dogs!
@exermom You were very smart figuring out new is cheaper than moving old! Unfortunately, a lot of mine are antiques that I just can’t part with so in the truck they go! Are you from Jersey? I wasn’t born and raised there, but my children were raised there and even though I’m in Nashville now, Jersey will always be home to me! Bread is not the same anywhere else! There is a new restaurant here that flies in Amorosa hoagie rolls every day for their real cheese steak sandwiches, it’s a taste of home for sure! Chinese is not the same either! OK enough about food!
@margaretturk Fabulous pictures, amazing flowers. Love them! Where were you?
@Grandmallie My former DH is from Marlborough. I love CT. I spent many happy days there. I love that drive down the CT river!
Welcome to @LisaMR63
@KJLaMore I developed hypothyroid from lowering my sodium intake to 1-1.5Kmg per day due to my congestive heart failure and sensitivity to sodium. Getting rid of it has been very trying. Synthroid generic I was given gave me seriously bad diarrhea, which my doctor said was not from it, but when she put me on brand name it improved a bit. When my TSH levels declined a bit, she said I could cut the dose in half (25mg/day) and the diarrhea declined to the point where it was more tolerable, but now I’m tired of still having it on a daily basis, so I’ve been looking at other options. She has not approved the other options but I’m going to get a second opinion from Dr David Brownstein, MD who has written several books on the subject, such as “Iodine and Why You Need It”. I have upped my salt intake, even though it causes me to gain weight from fluid. It’s a delicate balance that I’m trying to work out until I can get help from someone who specializes in the problem. Wishing you the best. Friend me if you would like and we can message about it.

Hello again ladies! Found the rest of my long post. Here goes:
Rita – I can see why you are ready to move on. I’d be pretty lonely living without someone “next door” to at least watch and chat with. My DH used to say he’d live alone in a cabin in the woods without people around in a heartbeat, does your DH feel the same way?
NY Karen – all those appetizers sounded great! Glad you folks on the east coast are done with the snow. Yesterday it was 72 here…. Just perfect.
Kelly – how exciting about the foxes! Hope you get to see some “kits” – good for keep rodents down. I’d trade them for the nasty coyotes we have out here who took lambs and also are known for luring away little dogs and making a meal of them.
Kylia – sending HUGS! What an awful feeling to get so sick like that. Hope you are doing better today!
Wendy – love the sunset on the beach photo with your wonderful horse. You live in a beautiful place! Oh, I found the info you posted about making queens and sent it to my friend. Asked him what he did and he said “buys the queens” – what he was explaining to me before was how the new queen flies up high and the strongest drone mates with her. Then she becomes the baby factory, lol. He said the price of queens has skyrocketed. Also, I haven’t seen a honeybee on our little fruit trees here yet, tho plenty of hornets and other little bitty bees. Will be interested to see what kind of fruit set we get.
Cheri - love that haircut and sending healing thoughts to your dear niece.
Rebecca – fabulous haircut! I want your hair, it always looks so healthy and lovely!
Lenora - glad no repeat on the colonoscopy. Whew. Hope they can get your Barrett's esophagus under control. I got the "spaghetti tube down the throat" last year when the ENT wanted to see why I was coughing so much = GERD. Took Nexium for a short while but luckily it's healed up now and stopping the eating a few hours before bedtime helped.
I think Katla is right about Nexium and memory impairment. I have a hunch it’s because the reduced stomach acid doesn’t allow absorption of Vitamin B12 (and possibly other nutrients) which is so important to our brains. I had my B12 tested a couple years ago, it was 386 pg/Ml, below the threshold for “possible memory impairment” which is 400 pg/ml. So have been taking 5000 IU of Sublinqual B12 in methylcobalamin form 4 or 5 times a week. It is apparently the most absorbable form per my doc. She said I may have lost the “intrinsic factor” which pulls it out of food in the intestine, so the under-the-tongue tablet is best. Both my mom and her dad (my grandfather) had dementia in their later years, likely due to this. If you are curious, ask your doctor to have it checked. I've heard that a good result is 500 so I aim to keep it at that level and stack the deck. Will get a recheck in September.
Holly - welcome! Working on a family tree sounds daunting but fun at the same time. One of my relatives started working on ours and discovered a few cases of cousins marrying cousins a few generations back. Those Germans were pretty clannish, lol. And as my sister says, "Well, that explains it" lol huh??
The discussion regarding accents made me curious to find out more about one of my great (times 5) grandfathers yesterday who was thought to be Irish. Found out his dad came to the colonies from Germany in the mid 1700’s, and according to a researcher "the yoke of British oppression became intolerable and when the colonists made an attempt to sever allegiance with the Crown, he (Grand x 5) was in hearty sympathy and fought for 8 years, including time with General Washington at Valley Forge." Holy smokes! I had no idea.
He then became a farmer in Pennsylvania and died at the age of 92, leaving his wife her choice of the 5 best pigs and the best bedroom and bed and bedding in the house his oldest son inherited. Sounds good to me!
Betsy - suction dredging! You rock! Hope you strike it rich! Yes, consistent discipline generally works well with puppies, children, and husbands.
Margaret - I am jealous you have such wonderful art and flower gardens nearby! I can't think of a better way to spend time
Interesting Area Agency on Aging meeting yesterday morning. Presentation about “memory café’s” and adult daycare activities for folks who have Alzheimers and dementia. Also, discussion about services needed to keep adults in their homes as long as possible and out of assisted living like dependable transportation, house cleaners, grocery shoppers. Problems are finding honest providers who aren’t thieves that prey on older people. Glad our group is addressing or at least discussing these issues right now before many of us will need them.
Dana - hope the injection does the trick. Thanks for the rhodie photo! Most of ours are just starting to bloom.
I am kind of caught up, see more posts coming in but better hit the "post reply" button before this one heads out to cyberspace.

Heather’s advice is wonderful and familiar. I also was an occasional swimmer/ dancer who despised getting sweaty. Honestly, I still do despise getting sweaty, I can only aspire to being more like Heather.
Constant pain and joint stiffness from moving too much, standing, being still for too long - so pain from everything I did.
I’m still looking for my ‘thing’ exercise wise. Although I love swimming, a series of ear infections is keeping me out of the lap swimming for the time being. But I throw water classes (where my head remains out of the water), hula hooping, Exercycle, mini trampoline, lots of walking into the mix. And, perhaps most importantly I’m getting my weights training in!
My that sounds like a lot, but really it probably averages out to 7 to 10 hours a week, not really that much time for the huge benefits.
And the benefits are huge! Extra calories is only one of the benefits. Mostly it is that pain is gone. No more ‘95 year old shut-in’ hobble down the corridor to my bathroom every morning. No more tight muscles every time I stand, sit, sleep. And I’m just beginning to FEEL strong. Pain is fleeting and often localized and explainable.
I started by promising myself 15 minutes each day for two weeks. Did Exercycle and walking. Two weeks later I was doing the 1/2 hour a day and looking for other activities to fill in. A couple of months later I joined a gym and put that mini trampoline together. A few months after that I was participating in a charity swim and buying a hula hoop.
Recently someone said to me (or I read somewhere here on MFP) something that resonated:
One never regrets a workout Afterward! It may be quite an effort to get oneself to do a workout but afterwards one is ALWAYS glad one did it.
