It may not be coming off quickly and I may not achieve the 5 lbs loss for this challenge, BUT the overall pattern is downwards which is all I care about! I was also overjoyed to be in the 167's this morning - I had been stuck in the 168's ALL week!!6 -

He is doing the 100 push-ups daily with me! However, he isn't really trying to lose weight so is not as focused on a healthy diet. I always struggle to maintain my eating habits since he likes to snack, eat fast-food, and not gain any weight, haha! He was gone doing field work in the tropics for 2 months so came back 22 lbs lighter...making my 8 lb weight loss seem like nothing! I have to keep telling myself that I will be able to maintain the weight loss better if I take it slow, but I am just having a moment of discouragement. This morning I was down another 0.5 lb and liked what I saw in the mirror, so I think I am on an upward trend in my confidence again .

I feel your pain. My husband is slim, has trouble gaining weight, and he grazes constantly. It doesn't seem fair. 😀

I went camping this weekend and I had a huge ice cream cone yesterday. Didn’t get to weigh everything but I just kept logging my food as best I could with horrible service and tried to stay within my calorie limit and I still dropped the weight. So excited!

A better week this week, still trying to score a net loss on the month, but I had a better week, and did better in sticking to my calorie goal or less each day. I saw 202 numbers again this week so hopefully those higher numbers are gone again, for good this time. No new daily low, but I matched it this week. That is a good sign.
Highest weight ever: 254 in October 1999.
Lowest since 1999: 195.
