Still progress, each day differs though going in the right direction is all that matters. Last week I had one bad day before weigh in and went from a 2lb loss to 0.4lbs. It will all come good in the next weeks.

I had two takeaways this week and ate out at a restaurant once, but still managed to lose more in a week than I have since I first started in May. It's all about logging absolutely everything I eat and splitting my takeaways into portions that fit into my daily calories. I had such a fulfilling week and I'm SO happy with the result!

Total loss for July : 2.2 pounds. Or is it 3.4 pounds? I guess it depends when the starting point is. I was down 3.6 pounds in June and 3.4 pounds in May. But I was up 2.0 pounds between May 31 and June 1. So I think I'm over-reporting my losses.
I attained my weight loss goal this week when I hit 144.8 and ultimately 144.2. As such, I am moving from weight loss to weight maintenance and recomposition to metabolize a little more fat and build a little more lean mass. I lost a couple pounds on a river trip rowing into strong winds a couple weeks ago, even though I ate a LOT. I have another river trip coming right up!

Not a good week on the scale. I have been pretty good about my calorie count except Friday. I didn't just fall off the wagon, I ripped the wheels off and burned that sucker down! A coworker bought in chicken biscuits AND doughnuts. It was downhill from there.
I over-indulged a bit yesterday too. We spent the day fishing, and while MFP thinks that fishing burns a lot of calories, I think it is overly optimistic. 😀 I was under the allowed calories with the activity, but still more than I should have had by my reckoning. Being outside all day makes me hungry.
Better today. Weight is up but I am hoping some of it is water weight, it is hot outside these days, and while I work indoors I try to spend some time outside daily, in my garden or out fishing on weekends.
Hoping to get the numbers going the right way in the days to come. I am a bit disappointed and discouraged though. I am nowhere near goal, and I am stuck, just like I was years ago. I get close to breaking out of the 200s and stop losing. Ugh.
Highest weight ever: 254 in October 1999.
Lowest since 1999: 195.
