Hey ladies! I’ve seen a couple threads on this topic but they all seem fairly old! So I wanted to start a new thread where us ladies can share our before and afters & a piece of advice for others on their own journey! ♥️♥️♥️

Don’t do anything to lose the weight that you won’t want to continue doing after you lose it! BALANCE IS 🔑 👌🏼214 -

I've only been training for nine weeks so I don't know if it would count as wisdom but the best piece of advice I've been given is that when you hear that voice inside your head telling you that you can't do something, tell the voice to jog on and do it anyway haha!27

Not done yet but getting there! Plain CICO and cardio + weights since January made a big difference.

A work in progress!164 -
5'1". Down 64 pounds. I think I was 170ish in the first pic vs. 131 now. Lift heavy stuff and weigh your food.

You looks amazing at 170lbs which is quite a bit for your height, must have had a lot of muscle!14 -
Eeeek Im only posting these cause I love looking at everyone else’s and feel like I should contribute... you guys are all looking awesome - I took these in the black crop top last night and am a bit nervous about sharing them (not sure why one of the after pics is on the left lol) - didn’t take initial progress pics but this is the last month - 5’3” 78.8kg (173.7lb) to 76.9kg (169.5) so very little change in the scale but I can see a bit of progress - my starting weight was 82kg (180lbs)
Current bmi 29.9 so just scraping in under obese category
Much like above - lifting heavy stuff and eating the right amt of food (plus almost no alcohol)

From 2014-2016 I lost 70 pounds and started a progressive lifting program, then I got pregnant with my 5th baby and gained 55 pounds while continuing a modified strength routine during my pregnancy. Those progress photos were taken after #5 was born. I can't confirm whether all of that helped me with body composition up until now, but it certainly didn't hurt.8 -
Still working on it. But down 35 lbs. Counting calories and attempting to get more physical activity. Sw was 223 lbs 😮😮😮 Current wt is 187. Gw is 140ish.

I lost over 100 lbs from January 11, 2017 to September 15, 2017... 8 months and 4 days. I started moving more, eating healthy & correct portions. I have maintained since with taking my weekends off (eating more freely without weighing and logging my food) and back to healthier choices first thing every Monday. Currently I weigh 161.8 lbs
Since I reached my 100 lb loss last year, I thought I'd also share a current photo. This was just taken June 12, 2018 on my 25th Wedding Anniversary.

@ChelleDee07 Same lovely hair and smile but you look really confident now. Congratulations on your fantastic loss, managing your maintenance so well and on your silver wedding anniversary. I would love to be at my maintenance weight (around 10 to go I reckon) by my ruby wedding (40 years) at the end of the August but I suspect that may be a bit too optimistic.10

335lbs-195lbs (-140lbs)
One day at a time. (Sometimes one hour, minute, second at a time)
Be KIND to yourself...Ignore the mean inner voice.

237lbs to 125lbs in about 22 months130 -
It's kind of hard to find pictures of me at my highest weight because like most of us I hated the camera and I knew 'my angles' to make it not as noticeable as it actually was.
220lbs (probably higher as this photo was from 2014 and I started my journey in 2015) > 137lbs today (rainbow croptop is a photo from today). I'm 5'10/11.
Consistency is the name of the game. If you show up with good habits 80% of the time, that 20% doesn't do as much damage as you'd think. The same for moderation. Don't cut out everything you love, just be aware of how much of it you're consuming.

I just ate at my daily calories, which is 1200- cut out soda, cut down drastically on fast food (1 time a month), and ate more chicken breasts and fish + veggies and drank green tea to replace soda. XD
Mostly did calisthenic exercises and Zumba at home a maybe 2-3 times a week (I feel like I should've exercised more but it is what it is lol).
