Some people have food triggers in that they see a picture and they can't get it out of their heads, and the next thing they are eating it. One of the things I used to hate about WW was that at meetings, people would sit around and talk about what they were going to eat when they reached their goal - isn't that kind of defeating the purpose of making a life style change? I don't say that I will never eat a juicy cheeseburger (with fries)again, but I don't think it serves my purpose to sit around and ogle pictures of it when I am trying to make a lifestyle change.

Nope, I meant chilly cow. They come in half pint tubs and are 180-190 cal. I have had this flavor and brown butter salted caramel and both are delicious.

Halo top isn't available around here and most low cal ice creams lead to me spending an ungodly amount of time sitting on the toilet wishing I could just get it over with and die.

Too much honesty for you? Yes, I can see the thrill of looking at pictures of the stuff that got me here in the first place. Cheeseburgers, cheesecake, Dairy Queen ice cream, a really good french bread warm, with butter, pastas with a rich red sauce. This is not my first diet - and in the past, as soon as I started, I craved that which I couldn't have and before long, I would give in.8 -

This is not my first diet - and in the past, as soon as I started, I craved that which I couldn't have and before long, I would give in.
I'm pretty healthy and fit...most of my diet is highly nutritious...and personally I don't see anything particularly wrong about cheeseburgers (I grill them or brats most Saturday nights) or some good french bread with butter (had some the other night at a restaurant called Farm and Table with my trout), or pasta with red sauce.
IDK...it's all about balance. I lost 40+ pounds and have been in maintenance for going on 5.5 years and I can include all of that in my diet in a balanced way...ie, not eating every single day and not piling my plate full of way more food than I need.
Honestly, if you have food triggers by looking at pictures, I'm not sure why you would go into a thread like this. I can look at food and it does nothing in the way of "triggering"

Is there any reason you are eating under 1000 calories a day? (I looked at diary) Maybe that is why you can't get it out of your head sometimes. I know if I was eating so few calories just seeing photos would probably make me go insane. I understand where you are coming from, but sometimes it is cathartic to get it out, lol. I eat the stuff that's on here all the time. I just find a way to fit it into my calories. Either smaller portions, a lot more exercise, smaller meals throughout they, or a combination. So far I'm down 185lbs, because I made the lifestyle change to realizing that I don't have to give up anything I love, just eat normal sized portions.
Besides, some of us see this and think... Oh that looks good, lemme go look that up to see how I can fit that into my diet!5 -
