I've been having disrupted sleep of late, so yesterday's meal was super easy and planned/made ahead ... Adzuki beans ground beef chilli made in the slow cooker. Started it all in the skillet and transfered everything into the slow cooker for the day. Didn't feel hungry until 9pm. Served it with rice and my sister's tortillas ( recipe was from this Mexican grandmother we'd attended church with. Taught us all her technique over women's group Wednesday).
Tonight, I sautéed some shrimp in a TBSP of "I can't believe it's not Butter" and then steamed them with a 1/4 cup of white wine. I served it on a bed of riced cauliflower moistened with a 1/4 of white wine and about half a cup of shredded cheese and topped it with some scallions. I didn't use a recipe.
A girlfriend who owns an air fryer but never used it came over dinner. We did the air fryer demo dinner and cooked every course in the machine. Vietnamese wings, roast courgette, roast cherry tomato, frozen oven fries, strawberry and raspberry clafoutis.

If you don't mind my asking, what kind is it? I have one but it is one of the early models and I'm thinking of buying another newer model.
Indian-Style Beans + Peppers recipe from Better Homes and Gardens Crockery Cooker Cookbook. ( I added some homemade barbecue sauce and salt and used veggie bacon.)

Mine is the compact Phillips Viva with the analog timer, though if I had to do it again I might go for a larger model. The Viva is large enough for our household of two, but when we have company I need to cook chicken wings, for example, in batches.
First meal today. Slow cooker beans cooked with Louisiana spice blend, tonnes of cloves & garlic and bacon. Fried catfish - it was faster than baking it. Potato salad. White rice.
Ground turkey meat sauce ( I had this cooking all day low and slow for the flavours to marry) with tossed garlic butter linguini. I did consider keeping the two separate, however being that we have just the one warmer, I combined them. Salad. I'm going to make the garlic bread shortly before I feel hungry.
