Pip - So proud of you!
Spent a lot of the day watching entertaining nonsense. Accomplished very little except burnt 800 calories. Oh well.
DH has cricket for the next four days. I have organised a lunch and a walk for Wednesday with my friend who cut her tendon. She is recovering well. No yoga on Tuesday, so I may be a bit lonely for the other three days. I really must get some writing done. Don’t want too much time to think.
A friend has emailed wanting to get together in October. I have told her I have no idea where we will be, or what we will be doing. Can't organise anything. Grrrrrrrrrr!
Edie wants an Anna dress for her birthday, so I've ordered that and also a flap book about bodies. I think the latter is a present for me! Will be seeing them in two weeks.

Heather. I have observed that you are a lovely lemonade maker. I have no doubt that you will declutter or write or visit friends or exercise or listen to podcasts or watch a program your husband isn't crazy about or make yogurt or start some sprouts or do some fall gardening or any number of other activities I have heard you mention while your husband is away. You are rather inspirational.
_____________
Carol I am rather amazed that this is a public school program - just online. I find myself quite eager to start school with my grandson in the morning. Unfortunately I have to work right after, from 3-10.
It will be OK.

Karen - I really appreciate the compliment! I will probably binge watch some recorded programmes , eat some very spicy soup, and run, read improving books and decor magazines, and write. I won't be sprouting beans as I don't want to put stuff in the freezer, nor do I want to garden for the buyers. My house is almost empty as I have decluttered so much, apart from photos, which I am too scared to start. I won't have a car, so I can't visit anyone. I love to be alone for a while, but I do get tempted to eat and my mood begins to sink after a couple of days. Especially as we are waiting on tenterhooks for crucial news about the buyer's mortgage. :noway:
DH will be here for our morning exercise session. Thank goodness, as I know my willpower would fail me on my own. I hope I can get those trainers on tomorrow after lunch for a run. I am a champion at making excuses, but have got better recently at ignoring them.
My mood changes quite a bit if I can get some writing done, so that is a priority, but sometimes I have to really force myself to the page. I will manage that, I'm sure.
I have to stop myself catastrophizing and that is harder when I'm alone. DH and I are a great support for each other.
Thank you for your belief in me. I will remember that and try to live up to your good opinion.
Much love, Heather UK xxxxxxx7 -

just stopping in briefly; I got a call from my brother in law. Sounds like dad is doing very poorly and his step daughter is calling to tell people to come. Also his beloved cousin is now on hospice. It worries me because the year he had 7 deaths was when his trouble started. Say prayers please.11

Heather - Cute pix of the girls on holiday.
Carol - No Hwy 19 isn't the same as I-75 - sort of runs parallel to it - north to south. Runs through Zebulon, Thomasville, to Americus and down to the state line I think. We went to Peachtree City via I-185, I-85, to Hwy 16, through Senoia and to Peachtree City to Suzanne House for our reunion. All my family was there including Taylor's boyfriend except Will, Tami, and Mallory (but too far to drive and this is his busiest time of the year). Margaret and her friend, and both her children were there; they had flown in and stayed at a B&B in Virginia Heights (???) for the weekend and are flying back out tomorrow. Kate and her (boy)friend live in Vermont or one of those New England states and Michael and his partner live in Miami Beach. Margaret lives in Miami on the bay. Suzanne's entire family, with the exception of one grandson, was there. That about does it for our families. I think there was also a 'girlfriend' of one of the grandsons were there.
Last weekend, Margaret had to spend a couple of days in the hospital due to her BP being very high and the MD not wanting her to go home with it still up there. She said she thought she was having a heart attack; with the sweating and other symptoms that most women ignore as heartburn. She seemed to be find this weekend. Both Margaret and Suzanne are in their 70's by a little bit so we are all feeling our age somewhat. That isn't on FB; so please do not put anything about it there. I had just had to 'snooze' or 'hide' Margaret because we just do not see things the same way. But, things went well, nobody brought up the subjects of politics or religion. It was nice to see all the grandchildren all grown up and I think there were 3 there that graduated in Dec. 2017; and, only 3 still in HS (and one in middle school). I think there was a total of 20 people there. Food was good! It's been almost 20 years since we have gotten together; I don't even think Emilee had been born yet and Mother was still alive the last time and she died in 2007 (I think). Same year that Louis' mother passed away.
I've deleted my Facebook account for so many reasons and I have had a lot less stress since. This is the only social networking site I am on; and, sometimes I just 'read' and don't make any remarks.

Hoping DD will get on next flight from San Francisco to Seatac. It leaves at 5:00 so should hear from her soon. She missed the earlier flight as no standby seats were available. Not feeling my best today, thinking I may have UTI. Yuck! Have made appointment for this coming week to see doc. Taking cranberry extract and drinking lots of water in the meantime.
Pip - Sorry the wind found you, I know how much you like riding in it.
Heather - Love that picture.
Rebecca - Looking forward to hearing the good news.
Everyone take care, Sue in WA3 -

For the first time in over a year I ate a Burger King Whopper and Fries for lunch. I have been paying for it ever since. Lord, help me to remember that this kind of food isn't good for my body.6

Congrats Pip and Kirby! Well done in spite of the rain and wind. Love Kirby's jerseys.
SueinWA: Hope you get that UTI knocked out of your system quickly.
Beth: Congrats on losing during a stressful month! Good to hear your son is getting better.
KareninVA: You are an amazing grandma. DGS will thrive under your care and instruction.
Meg Prayers going up...deep breaths.
Quiet weekend. DH is driving me nuts with daily misplacing items critical to our everyday life. Yesterday it was the cat's leash. Today it was the remote control. Everyday is a treasure hunt living with him. I hate dementia.....and sometimes I don't always behave with compassion.
I haven't done any bonus calorie burning on the recumbent bike in two days, so committing to you all that I'm going to climb on there now.
Stay well friends. We can do this.

Did Leslie Sansone Walk off the Pounds DVD. The plan for tomorrow is to do some hula hoop, hold my plank, then take the extremepump class.
You know, being back to my usual exercise routine, I am feeling somewhat sore in muscles that I don’t use when walking. So it really is good to change up your exercises.
Rebecca – happy anniversary
Beth – what a trooper you are! Glad you got your tooth taken care of
Exercised then went to WalMart (on Sun. morning is a good time to go because here in the bible belt everyone is at church.). Then went to Publix to see if they can make a sandwich tray for our pool party this Saturday. I’m thinking that I’d like to have a small sandwich on a croissant-type roll (it’s like ¾ of a circle). Then I’ll put olives on toothpicks to be the “eyes”. Publix didn’t have any rolls with a curvature for the “claws” but Lowe’s Foods is going to try forming the dough before it is baked for me. I’m to stop there Wednesday to see if they can do it. At least they’re willing to try. Then started stringing the popcorn for the Christmas tree. It’s cloudy, but not rainy here so I worked for about 4 hours (maybe 3-1/2)
Carol – as soon as I can I’ll post this one pic that I took. The Atlantic ocean is on the left and the Caribbean is on the right. Actually, the Caribbean is calmer and there is a lot of seaweed in the Atlantic.
Today is the 1 year anniversary of the death of the Newcomer president’s husband (the webmaster). In some ways, I do hope she's getting grief counseling. I know that they were childhood sweethearts and she's having a difficult time dealing with his death.
You go pip and Kirby. So proud of you both
Meg – (((HUGS))) and prayers for your dad
Sue in WA – feel better fast. I hope it isn’t a UTI
Carol – It’s been about 3 years since I’ve had a hamburger. Honestly. I just don’t have a taste for them mainly because I know that I’ll feel horrible after having one. You’re experiencing that right now.
Rori – ((((HUGS)))) dear friend

Rori, I misplace the dogs' leashes all the time and I don't have dementia...at least I don't think I do. LOL
My answer to this problem is to have multiple numbers of leashes ( I have multiple dogs!) and I keep leashes in every vehicle ( we have multiple vehicles!). The usual place to find a leash though, is in one of my multiple coat pockets. LOL. I think I'm seeing a pattern here! Wendy3 -
Heather thank you, your granddaughters picture definitely put a smile on my face. They'll hate that picture when they get older and their Mom will say "it's so cute". My daughters and I still do that when looking at old pictures.
It truly is the cutest, thanks for sharing!!

Michele - Glad you enjoyed St Kitts. There are always minor tribulations on a holiday, but the good bits always override the bad. It's a shame you couldn't have stayed for longer.
I was tickled by the fact that you thought of me and DH with the cricket. He has just left with his sandwiches. The weather is perfect. Hooray!
Rori - I am lost in admiration of the way you are responding to your challenges.
About the photo. I wasn't going to post it, because I felt it was a bit "intimate". However, my DDIL posted it yesterday on Facebook and Instagram, so I felt it was ok. It makes my heart go bumpity bump.
