Kelly- I reckon even kids have off days! Good thing I wasn't drinking my coffee when I read about the peas!
I know there was more I wanted to comment on, but forgot.....I was typing on my phone when this butterfly distracted me and I lost the post. This little guy found me for about 30 minutes even if I went back inside, he found me when I stepped back out.
Enjoyed the day yesterday walking in Gaitlinburg. The things I bought with the exception of a jacket were all locally made. Unfortunately there is about 6 pounds of fudge and chocolate. Guess that means more exercise. The rain held off which was good. We got back to the cabin after the best darn bison burger and then the storms came. I tried to get pictures of the lightening, but wasn't successful. These were cool though.
Today is car show, lots of walking! Have a blessed day!
Congratulations to the losses!
Welcome to the new ladies!
(((Hugs))) to those suffering!
Prayers for healing to those struggling!

Kelly ~ Sorry your little ones were having an "off" day and hope today is better.
Karen in VA ~ Good job with the schooling situation. Sounds like your DnL is very effective in dealing with your son.
Heather ~ Edie is so cute and what a sweet smile.
Beth ~ Continued prayers for you and your son.
Meg ~ For many years I took care of all the yard work (except gutters). I actually miss not being able to get out and do it.

Amazing to see your husband doing so well.
Yes ... folding bicycles.
But right now, the benefit of riding them is that they are step-thrus so it is easier for my husband to get on and off.

Cling in waiting for roomie to start day. Not used to posting from phone so pls forgive. Wendy I’m jealous, always wanted to learn to spin. No need to knit, you could sell your home spun hand dyed artisan wool. Or could you braid weave it into horse stuff like bridles or decor?
Karen in VA DIL-Brava. Loving intervention time maybe yes. Coul GS be picking up on depression underlying DS anger/lecturing? Laughing til tears= best medicine!
Traveling with new buddy is probably good for me, reminds me of why I enjoy traveling solo. 😉🙄😆4 -
Kylia love the painted lady butterfly. I am enjoying watching hummingbird right outside kitchen window enjoying our snapdragon hanging pot. They are getting fat to get ready for their long journey south. Monarch still has not hatched yet. I check it daily to see its status. Fewer Japanese beetles now. I still have to pick one or two off our Zineas. I plant these because my mom planted them and I remember going outside and catching skipper butterflies. Because of all the pesticides I rarely see them now.
Off to have lunch with a friend. I haven't started subbing which is fine by me. I like to let their teacher get them into a good routine first.

morning ladies~ about to run off to go to the picnic down at the nursing home, very productive morning, was over to blood work bright and early.... then home to make my tea, got back out and walked Homer and Chester and went and fed my FIL. He was quiet today.. then brought bills over to the attorneys office.., came back picked up Alfie and went down to visit some of the residents at the nursing home, Alfie hopped right up on on ladies lap anf she was just smiling away, he has very soft fur and they love petting him...
going down now, and then to my attorneys office to sign my will... another thing done... and then after that might high tail it over to my credit union to get paperwork for beneficiares on my bank accounts...

Thought I would post a photo of the lane I often run along. Took this on my 5k this afternoon. Not a great pic, but gives some idea.

I was listening to a podcast on Beethoven's 5th.
