I jumping in on this! First round for me.
I was doing great on Keto, but then I went on a cruise and it all went out the window 😔
That was in August. I can count on one ✋the number of days I've worked out since we returned. I was down to 154. Now I'm back at 160 😳 (sigh - oh how I'm going to miss my carbs)

Picking Keto back up tomorrow along with this challenge!

10/24- 201.8 so yesterday was a good day, I ate well but could of had a bit more water. I didn't get to work out this am bc I only got 4 hours of sleep last night. Maybe I will try for a quick 30min workout but we are trick or treating at my job tonight so we'll see how late I end up being out. So far ive eaten well today

Last round, I started at 70 and ended at 70, with some fluctuation to 71. No loss,but great to get to it, because that means I almost hit my October goal.
Now,this round will be tricky. I'll have my last day at work on Thu, potentially with cake and definitely drinks in the eve. So Fri will also be a write off as I am sure I'll have a hangover. I have confirmed that I will be going to Zambia for work for 3 months. Still sorting out the details, but could be there by next round! AAAAHHH
I have no idea how things will be there and how they will go til then, being off at home and frantically planning and packing... But i'll do my best, I will definitely do better on the exercise than the last few days.

10/25 -78.6kg, I think I’m noticing a pattern here. I kind of stagnate or fluctuate down and up for a few days, and then drop suddenly and harshly. I think I like it! It sucks seeing the scales go up and up but rewarding when it finally drops to where it really should be, and I guess that’s why we track every day, to see these patterns

I'm in again too!
Last round was not a good one for me. I was not able to complete it. But this time I want to stay consistent! This will be my fourth round. I have ordered my Fitbit and waiting to get my hands on it! (I have a way too sedentary lifestyle)

Also planned to set mini goals from now on and try to acheive it in order to stay in track! My first mini goal for now is to reach 75kg before Nov 1st!

You might try so called “intermittent fasting” (16/8). I have my last meal arounds 7-8 pm, then 16 hours fasting. Then next day 1st meal (lunch) is around 11-12 am. This helps me to save more calories for an evening meal.

25/10 Started including my trendweight as that is what I tend to use for my weekly weigh ins rather than my actual weight. I got a quick weights session in after work yesterday, before I rowed 7.5km (to the pub and back ). Today's goals are to enjoy my rest day and eat below maintenance, I take a couple of days around maintenance just before shark week to stop my cravings spiralling totally out of control.

Okay I'm back! It's been a slow several weeks so I'm coming back to keep myself motivated to keep logging and weighing. I dropped off because of life commitments getting in the way of online stuff, but now I've got a little more time, I'm excited to get back to this challenge. Lovely to see the same old faces, and hello to all those who've started since I've been away

Also, I was feeling fairly mopey about my current weight loss trend, however, looking at the numbers, I'm kind of in trend for the rate of weight loss I was achieving before I dropped off this challenge, so I'm hoping that it'll get me back into prospective and feeling a little more upbeat again.

10/25: 67.3kg - Yesterday would have been a very good day, but then my partner took the chocolate bomb pudding (that's a uk definition of pudding) out of the freezer and then that's an extra 414kcals onto the day. However, still 200kcals under burn, so a deficit is a deficit. Did have to edit the main course so that it wasn't a stupid amount over, so I'm fairly happy that I actually ended up under at the end of the day. Honestly, although it was good, I'm not sure it was worth the calories, and it's not going to be something I'm going to have to worry about working into my calorie budget very often. However, it has been a long time since I've eaten a very gooey chocolate pud, so it certainly satisfied an itch.

10/25— 145.8 I ate Mexican for lunch yesterday with a business group, but was very careful (but I do love Guacamole!) Then I binged on chocolate candy at our meeting and was ashamed of myself. However, I am SO proud of myself that I didn’t let that become a terrible day for the rest of the day! Instead, after that, I regained control of myself, got in extra exercise, drank lots of water and had only 5 broiled shrimp and some steamed veggies for dinner. As of right now, I did NOT gain! Lost .2 in fact. THAT is a success!

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieve permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.

• Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
• A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
• Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
• The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
• Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
• The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
• When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
• Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Stick with the process. It DOES work! But it does take time, effort, and most of all, patience!
