    Ice cream with excessive mix ins/chunks/etc. is a total disaster.

    Agree. I think this is why I’ve never been really crazy about Ben and Jerry.

    Bacon's okay; I can take it or leave it, actually. Though I have a favorite story from a New Yorker article on perfume manufacturers and scent seekers: at the end of the article, the writer asked if there was an absolutely irresistible fragrance. Yes, said the manufacturer. Bacon.

    In general, I don't like pork, including sausages. I do like beef hot dogs, but really only Hebrew National, and for me to really like it, let it be grilled or broiled - dry heat, not wet, for me.

    For me it definitely depends on how the bacon is prepared... as for hot dogs, not really a fan. I do love a good bratwurst though

    Hot dogs are great IF they are the right ones. Must be all-beef kosher. Not those weird pink oscar-Mayer things.

    I grew up with Vienna Beef, but Best's Kosher is good too.
    If I'm cooking at home, I prefer brats...can't remember last time I had hot dogs at home.
    If I'm at a hot dog stand/baseball game/picnic it will always be a hot dog.
    For some reason, the setting matters to me. :D

    I totally get that. I'm the same -- I'll have a hot dog (if Vienna beef) at a ball game or (sometimes) cookout, although I might well get a brat instead (I usually have a brat during our 4th of July cookout, if not burgers). Outside of those specific settings I almost never have hot dogs, and never at home.

    I'll take corn bread pretty much any way I can take it. Both variations look cool to me!

    The first variation would need plenty of honey butter :)

    "vegetable" oils are used in excess and are not healthy in the slightest.

    @NovusDies

    I almost wet my pants I laughed so hard!

    Southern sweet tea is syrup! 2 cups of sugar cooked into a simple syrup per gallon. Sometimes I use only 1-1/2 cups if it’s for someone other than my family! What other kind of tea is there?

    I'll eat turkey bacon. I don't delude myself that it's bacon, but it's not bad.

    As long as I get dibs on the Humboldt Fog (at least until I eat myself silly on the stuff), you've got a deal.

    And while I'm thinking about it: Someone(s) else can eat pretty much the entire world's supply of Ranch Dressing. I might dip something in it once in a rare time, but it really isn't very good IMO, and I can definitely live without it forever.
