    Current weight: 210.6
    Total weight lost: 24.4

This week's successes: Managed to include more veggies in our meals. Took DS to a lettuce farm & then made meals with our harvest - which he willingly ate!! (He’s only 6, so it’s kind of a big deal - lol)

This week's challenges: TOM meant the scale was stubbornly refusing to show progress. Managed not to get discouraged, though. I knew it would budge eventually...

    Week 4 result.

    Starting weight: 19 st / 266lb (at 6th January)
    Goal weight: 15 st 4lb / 201 lb
    Current weight: 18 st 9 lb / 261 lb
Total weight lost: 5 lb (put on 3 lb this week)
This week’s successes: I’ve lost 5 lbs in 4 weeks so I’ve lost more than 1 lb a week. I’m focussing on the positives having put 3 lb back on this week as I had a cold and didn’t stick to my diet.
This week’s challenges: To get back on track.

A pound a week sounds reasonable ... especially for those of us over 50! Reporting in on Mondays since I consider that my official WI and the start of my week.

Last week's successes: Drank more water; less alcohol, built a good walking routine, started riding indoor bike.
Last week’s misstep: Didn’t pass on the slice of cake (it was in my honor but still; did throw away what was sent home with me in the trash when walking in the door)
This week's challenges: First week of retirement; lots of time on my hands. Outlined a weekly/daily routine for the next 3 months and need to determine if it works or not.

Starting weight as of Jan 2019: 263.8
    Current weight: 261.2

    Goal weight:150
    Goal weight for 2019: 215.8

    Total weight lost: 6.6
Total weight lost for 2019: 2.6

This week's successes: I knocked 4 minutes off my 5k on Sunday. The weather cooperated, but I also feel that the speed training I've been doing is paying off.

This week's challenges: Getting my strength training in and eating better.

Note: I weighed myself on Sunday morning just to see and I was at 258.0. Today, I weighed 261.2. I'm guessing that's a lot of water weight from all of the salty food I ate during the Superbowl because I logged everything I ate and I definitely did not eat enough to account for a huge weight gain in a day. I'll stay off the scale until next Monday and see where it goes. My goal is to pay close attention to my nutrition this week and to drink lots of water.
