This question was posed at a meeting I went to ... can you still lose weight if you have just 4 good days in a week. This answer was YES. You can still lose weight, even if you only have THREE good days in a week. So today is a new start ... and I am aiming for at least 4 good days this week (hopefully more, but it is progress, not perfection).
So this is my weekly challenge to you guys
at least FOUR good days this week. Anyone want to go in with me on this?5 -
Hello everyone! I've been a pop-in-and-out-er too! I'm sorry guys! My schedule is so weird these days!
But A BUNCH of good things have happened over the last week!
-the swelled thing that was in the roof of my mouth popped. It was a huge blood blister. I lost part of a tooth the other day and I think that the jagged edge was cutting into the roof of my mouth and caused it. But I was able to use a toothpick, dig around, and get the jagged part out from under my gum and GOD does it feel better! Lol. It's all fixed now.
-We had some money come in so we are all caught up on our bills. It was really scary for a while. But Matt and I talked about it and took some money out of an investment we have. I am SO much less stressed out now.
AND
-MATT IS GOING BACK TO WORK!!! At the beginning of August! He went and talked to his manager on Saturday to tell him that he wants to step down from his Lead position and to talk about next steps because he is just not capable of handling the workload he used to have. His manager suggested that he take over the Sports Technician position. So pretty much he will be fixing sports equipment, as well as stringing tennis rackets, lacrosse heads, and all that jazz. It is a lateral move which means it's not a demotion and he gets to keep his pay rate because he is moving to a different position due to medical issues. I think my favorite part is that he will be working the same hours that I will come September! He'll work 7-2 like me!
School is over for today. It's the start of the third week for summer school and so far we've lost 2 students(as in they stopped coming) and one that hasn't showed at all yet. But we have a really good group of kids. They're really fun. They all have some kind of learning disability/development disability and they're all eighth-graders But I am learning A LOT. I'm really enjoying my time in the class and the teachers/paras are really awesome as well!
It's 1:40 but it's 104F so I'm definitely not going out again today. It's also supposed to storm really bad this evening into tomorrow morning. It's supposed to break tonight though and only be in the low 80's tomorrow which I am INCREDIBLY excited for. Lol
Okay, I do need to set some goals for today though.
JFT, 7/22/19
1. Log all food(I did this yesterday too but I really need to get back into the swing of doing this!)
2. Gather laundry to do tomorrow
3. Figure out dinner
4. Do the dishes
There are probably a few more things I should do but I think I am going to save them for later this week. I want to start small and not get totally overwhelmed like I usually do.4 -

I'm IN!!! I's also really happy you shared this! So good to hear that 4 good days can still be helpful!1 -
JFT Monday Recap
90 minutes exercise-NOPE. But I'm heading to the gym while my child is in taekwondo so I'll at least get 30 minutes in.
Eat within calories
healthy choices
Lots of water
organize upstairs a little
Day got away from me bc of some car stuff-looking to buy a new one. Heading to the gym for a quick workout while child is at taekwondo so I'll at least get a half hour. I'm over by a few calories right now but once I work out I'll be under. Did make healthy choices and drank lots of water today but did not get to the organization. Will do later this week.
@mytime6630 I love that! I am in! My goal is to keep it together health wise 5 days this week. Today went well, hoping for more of the same tomorrow!2 -
So happy to see everyone posting. I have missed you.
I’m in, I need 4 good days too!
PackerfaninGB I know how you feel seeing any of those 180’s on the scale. 2 weeks before the wedding and I saw 175, ever since it’s been closer to 185 and up!2 -

Ooh you kept that quiet @mytime6630! Happy belated birthday! And I am absolutely in for the 4 good days - this week has started pretty badly...😬0 -
Morning all - a super frustrating day for me yesterday. Started off ok with the ikea trip. Got back and took the old bed apart and then started building the new one. I’d forgotten the hell that is deciphering flat-pack furniture building instructions! I also ignored the little picture suggesting it was a two-person job and set off to do it all alone. Three hours later I hit a wall, couldn’t get some pieces to connect and realised we were missing at least one piece. So after a rushed dinner we were back on the road and headed back to the store. Got the extra box, hauled the extremely heavy thing back out of the car and up the front steps, threw the kids into bed (the little one in mine as she had nowhere else to sleep) and then sat down and ate a bunch of junk feeling sorry for myself.
Today we are meeting my mum in the city centre to help her find a sapphire wedding anniversary gift for my dad. It’s supposed to be super hot again today so hoping we can get it done early and then get back so I can build the bed. I’m stuck without childcare so going to aim for a home workout this morning beforehand but to be honest I’m still tired from yesterday and feel icky from last night’s indulgence. I’m sure the workout will help my mind though. So...
Monday goals recap:
- Get kids up early and wash their hair ✅
- ikea by 10am ✅
- take apart old bed ✅ and build new one 😥
- Pick up t-shirts from store❎
- book some quotation visits from builders❎
- bed by 9:30❎
Tuesday goals:
- morning workout
- Pick up t-shirt before heading out if time
- meet mum at 10:30
- build the bed!
- contract builders
- bed by 10
Wish me luck! X3 -
Hello everyone, I thought that I'd say hello. I'm new here. I want to lose about 20 kilograms.6
-
Hi @hixa30
@Faebert, good luck building the bed! Ikea's great when it goes well, a right pain when it doesn't. Wish there was a store nearer me, I have to travel about 70 miles, so rarely go.
@nlmackey98 , love your hair, you look great
So I'm back after a few days "off", didn't diet properly and also felt ill all weekend (not connected!)
Babysat all day Saturday and dog-sat all day Sunday. Not sure which is the most demanding lol. (One dog is a collie who wants her ball thrown all the time). I certainly don't over eat when babysitting, hardly have time to drink a cup of tea
JFT 23rd July
Log everything
Stay in the green
Back exercises
Stay positive
Lots of laundry (attempting to dye some sheets)
Carry on clearing paperwork
Start accounts for tax return
I'm in the middle of going through old business paperwork and throwing away a lot. I'm a bit obsessed with it. A few years ago my aunt died and her finances (and her whole apartment, but that's another story!) were in the most awful mess, it took months to sort it out. Now I'm dealing with my parents finances for them (much more organized). I want to make mine as easy to deal with as possible for my sons if anything were to happen to me. I don't want them to have the awful stress that I had when dealing with my aunt's.
So I'm having a day at home today, and will make progress. The weather is not good enough to garden. The reports that the UK are having a heatwave aren't quite right, it's only @Faebert's part of the UK lol.

So I scratched the workout plan and decided to tackle the bed (so stubborn!). Yay me, did it all by myself and only the drawers left to build. About to head out to meet my mum so will finish after. It’s going to hit 35 degrees (95F) and we are going on the underground train 😬😅1

1. Log all food(I did this yesterday too but I really need to get back into the swing of doing this!) I was only 25 over and that was because of an apple I had because I was STARVING! Lol
2. Gather laundry to do tomorrow It's supposed to be significantly cooler today so I am going to run to the laundromat after work to do a big load of clothes
3. Figure out dinner Made turkey sausage with cheddar brats and some noodles. It was surprisingly very tasty. Lol
4. Do the dishes The frying pan is soaking from last night but I will do that before I head out to work this morning!
Had a pretty good evening last night with Matt. I laid down to go to bed early because I didn't sleep well the night before but, of course, I got caught up in a book and was up for another hour. Lol. And then I woke up a few times during the night again and with a headache(which I still have). Oh well. I just hope the kids aren't too loud today. There is this one girl who likes the shriek sometimes. Hopefully, she can hold that in today. Although, I have a feeling it's just a sinus headache because the weather has been so weird and it's currently raining out so that might be why. Idk. Okay, I'll stop rambling now
JFT, 7/23/19
1. Log all my food(The good, the bad, and the ugly)
2. Drop off paperwork to dx w/ note
3. Do laundry(which includes folding and putting away!)
4. Make dinner
5. Do dishes

Good Morning!
JFT 7/23
All meals at home/homecooked
Stay within calories
30 minutes exercise
healthy choices
Mindful eating
Been eating out far too much lately, hoping to eat at home only today and make lots of healthy choices. Have lots to do today but not too far from home so should be able to do this with no trouble. Getting my workout in early too so may be able to get an extra one in later. Temps are way cooler so may even try for an outdoor walk later! Of the at least four good days a week challenge this is day 2 for me! Hoping for a great day and I'm weighing in tomorrow for my weekly weigh in so I'm extra motivated.1 -

@nlmackey98 you are gorgeous!!
Hooray! Congrats x2 -
1. log all my food ... stay within plan
2. help hubby
3. start organizing my sewing room. Yes ... I am going to downsize all my fabric, and give a lot away. I have way too much... and the clutter is getting to me.
4. work on downsizing ... one closet at a time.
5. go outside for a walk. I missed the gym this morning ... weather is nicer.. so go outside Mowed the grass instead.
6. get back on here. Stay involved. Be a support for others ... that in turn, help me focus as well.
JFT, Tues
1. log all food -- stay within plan
2. weekly challenge - 4 good days. 1 day done, 3 more good days to go at least!
3. gym _ already done
4. start on closet
5. concentrate on water - 8+
6. get on here tomorrow - be accountable0 -

Hi Everyone! Sorry I've been so low key lately. As you know I've had a lot going on in my life and
trying to keep up momentum has been a real challenge as of late. Anyway, I've been presenting
sermons more lately and my Pastor so graciously informed me last weekend that she feels
piggy backing with someone else (where one minister starts a message and another finishes)
isn't where I need to present from, but having my own platform is something she feels is best
for me as a speaker because she's observed that there's a lot in me that needs to come out
spiritually speaking. Whatever our heavenly Father wants is what I'll do.
I'll get back in the swing of this as soon as I can figure out how to balance things and make them
enjoyable and not cumbersome.
Love all of you ❤☺
Keep up the great work!!4
