Round 65 GW - 182.6
Round 64 EW - 185
1/13 - 184.6 (-.4 total)
1/14 - 184.6 (-.4 total) I have been doing Keto for the past 8 days and it has served me well losing a 7.2 pounds. My plan was Keto for one month and then go back to regular CICO as I had done previously and lost 50 pounds. I am officially off Keto today. Diet plans affect each of us differently and the things I’m experiencing are not worth it if I can achieve weight lose another way. I’m not sleeping, this is causing incredibly painful headaches, my legs are so restless they are jumping all over the place when I go to bed at night, the roof of my mouth feels and tastes kind of raw and yesterday my lower jaw started feeling numb and made opening my mouth difficult (thankfully that passed after 15 min or so). Yes I do realize it takes our bodies time to adjust to new things but I cannot function if I don’t get some sleep. I’m not saying Keto is bad, absolutely not, but I just don’t think it’s for me.

1/13 - 203.1 (1,387 calories, 10,692 steps): Solid day. Tracked all food. Stayed away from the dinner/night binge. A little too high on the carbs which showed blood glucose in the 140-150 range for long periods of the day. Did not workout so I need to improve there. Better things for today!
1/14 - 204.3 (way too high on the calories, and way too low on the steps): The dinner/night binge got me. I'll get it today. Going for a perfect day today! Good luck to everyone.11 -

01/14 11st 8.2lb Later weigh in, not that it's done me any favours. Had less than allowed MFP calories yesterday. I was going to go for a walk today but the weather looks miserable outside. I really need to reset my bedtime and getting up time so that I start having normal days again.

Not silly at all! I know exactly what you mean. When it snows like it is where you are, I like going out every hour or so to clear the driveway. It's not so overwhelming that way and I just love the muffled quietness of the world when it's snowing at night. I don't mind doing it a multiple of times.
No snow here yet - no fun shoveling for me. (Windsor - across the river from Detroit)
You girls enjoy your snow this winter. I noticed only women were out shoveling snow when I was in the Northeast in November. Growing up in Texas and hating the cold, I can't imagine enjoying that job. I'm glad it brings you pleasure. I'm sure it's a great workout!
I love the look of snow on the spruce trees and I love to see it falling and yes, shovelling it but I absolutely hate driving in it. I don't mind bundling up and going for a walk in the cold. I find it refreshing. We've actually had a snow free winter here so far and I don't mind that either.
I see more women actually shovelling and the men using snowblowers.6 -

Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 - 240.4...better but still not where it should be. Went to the gym again last night and did 30mins on the treadmill and 20mins on the elliptical..had 130oz of water, which is 30oz over what I normally aim for and I was at about a 1000 calorie deficit.
01/14 - 240.0...I really don't get why I'm fighting my way back into the 230's..I didn't do anything to push myself out 😡 Did 30mins of walking yesterday, had 100oz of water and was at about a 1200 calorie deficit.

My goal for 2019 is to get into ONEderland. Changing my life.
R65 my focus will be to not break my tracking streak since 12/28 and being active every day in some way shape or form! Get up out of the chair from work, reading or tv and MOVE! Goal is to reach 240-241 and make it stick.
SW: 245 (R63 starting 12/30/2018)
End R63: 245 (0 loss; lowest 244.4 & avg 244.7 over the 4 days)
End R64: 243.3 (-1.1 loss; lowest 243.3 & avg 243.3 over 7 WI days; 3 days no scale available)
1/13 - 243.3 @ Camp no scale; using WI from 1/10 for start of this round. 17 day tracking streak! Yesterday walked the nearby county park and gardened. Long drive home today. Need to watch the snacking, fast food, drink plenty of water and walk this evening.
1/14 - 244.1 Up a little after the weekend at fishing camp which is not a surprise but I was so much more in control. Less snacking, less alcohol. Could have moved more. And then when returned home my sister made sodium laden red beans and rice. Lots of water to offset. We'll see where I am tomorrow.

Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 - 203.7 (5839 steps) – Today is my 1st full day here in this challenge. Didn’t make it to the barn to ride yesterday. We got lots of snow. Zero structure to my day. Could have been a potential problem. I had 2 meals still leftover from last week’s meal prep so, I used those for lunch/dinner. Rode the recumbent bike in the living room for a total of 50 mins (10.05 miles). Still allowed myself room to have a pint of Halo Top.
01/14 – 204.8 (6813 steps) – Sundays are the laziest day of my week. This was no different. We got 3” of snow and I did NOT want to leave the house. I slept in late and was a couch potato. I stayed in the green with my calories and even did 37 mins (7.77 miles) on the bike. I was able to meal prep lunch/dinner for the work week (four 10 hr days). Hopefully leaving on Friday for weekend in KY with my Mom. Going to visit Aunt/Uncle.

One meal at end of round #64 and was outside calories and sodium. I knew it would take a few days to come back down. I wish you could pay ahead-then have the meal, ha ha. I may not do that after this round or be within calories at least. Depends if I meet my goal at the end I think.

01/13 - 138.8
I've decided to stop obsessing about calories, at least for this round, and to focus on macros (approx. 20% P, 30% F, 50% carbs, mostly veggies, fruit, and whole grains) plus exercise, meditation, fun, community, and sleep. Although I'd like to weigh about 10-12 pounds less, I'm at a healthy weight and feel good, so as maintenance or slow loss, I'm happy either way.

ROUND 64 (Round 11 for me)
5’5” 66 y/o Texas Lady
SW 178 lb.
GW 135-140 lb.
Started Keto WOE on September 24th (2018). Still experiencing decreased arthritis hip and shoulder pain since the second week of Keto. Staying within calorie limits is easy enough, but not exceeding my carb limit is difficult. I don’t use my KetoMojo meter every day, but I’ve only been out of ketosis for a couple of days since the second week when the meter arrived. Some of my NSVs: feeling less self-conscious, wedding band fits, smaller clothing, and my happy husband, whether he’s inspired to quit his cigarette habit or not.
Rounds 54 – 64 resulted in a cumulative loss of 33.6 lb. The closer I get to my goal, the more excited and motivated I become! When I reach maintenance, my plan it to continue checking in on these rounds. I really do appreciate and enjoy your company!
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 144.8 Hello again! Let’s make this a great round! My scale is up a little this morning. I was up early to cook for lunch at church. My poor husband wass sick most of the night. It may be the fried fish he ate last night that I brought home for him on Thursday. It was a lunch special, but had three large filets of catfish. I meant to throw the last one away yesterday—wish I had. I guess something else could be going on with him. Thor and I had a good walk yesterday, but cut it a little short, 4.8 mi. We met the owners of a dog that’s been harassing and following us. I don’t want to see him run over.
01/14 143.8 I’m about to go to work, so I’ll have to catch up on posts this evening. Monday is my MFP check-in day, so I wanted to enter that before I forget.

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

Managed to hit my 10,000 step goal each day and did home workouts both days (yay fitness blender)! Plus my most favourite success from the weekend was that I prepped salad lunches for the week so that work mornings this week should hopefully be a breeze. Need to work on doing a better job of tracking my food intake though.12 -

Goal for the challenge:
10,000 steps daily
Eat within my calorie goal
28% body fat
125lbs
Get active
Avoid Binge eating
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 134.8 (30.7% Body Fat)
Comment: Weighed in late tonight so it's higher. I started working out tonight and sticking to my calorie count range. When I workout or do something active it does help me from binge eating. When I do binge I just get depressed the next day and feel the pains of bloating in my body. Like this morning.
01/14 132.6 (31.1%)
Comment: I almost didn't workout today.
But I'm so glad I did go out and get to the gym. Did a spinning class and got a decent workout done.
Then when I got back to my place I saw my dentist who got me to join the monday zumba session. Hahaha she really wants to let me know I can go allnout with my workouts now after 4 weeks of recovery from a surgery. Well I did the session and I feel great!
I did not binge, I ate to get enough protein and nutrients in my body. This is what I should be doing daily! Then get better and disciplined! ❤

In for round 65. A day late, but hey! I'm here.
SW- 154 (but this is high)
Goal for round- <150
UGW- 135
Why these goals:
My body feels right. Clothes feel good. And the aches and pains seem to kept at bay. I am able to complete much more when I am on point with my eating and exercise.
Obstacles:
Work stress is at an all time high right now. I've got to take the time and prioritize my healthy lifestyle so that I can keep head above water and stay positive.
What I'm going to focus on to get to my goal:
1. Water- 64 oz/day minimum
2. Exercise- 30 minutes/day minimum
3. Food- Processed sugar and alcohol free.
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13- NWI. Sledding for exercise. Anxious eating (aka chips and large quantities). I think I had a glass of water.
01/14-154. Water retention from the various processed foods over the weekend.
