01/23๐ฅ *my 9 year anniversary with my hubby*๐ฅ140.0 Wow, what a whoosh! I also saw 139.8 but didn't want to jinx it, so took the higher number. I will be honest, it might not stay. Today is my anniversary and my man is planning a night of activities so I might indulge. I will be exercising and I will try and eat healthy veggies and fruits but keep the higher end calories for tonight's dinner. It will be an NSV if I stay away from desert, which I am really worried about. My hubby told me I have been doing amazing and it is only one night but I am apprehensive because I am beginning to close the gap between the 40s and 30s and don't want to off set it....but he is right. I always jump back on again and it will just take a few extra days to get back to this weight, but I can do it.
01/24 142 I just love to force myself to really work for my losses lol. Last night was amazing, my hubby and I had a great time together, playing games, eating Chinese food and watching tv. It was so relaxing and I am so blessed to have him in my life. I am so happy I am with him and I don't know what I have ever done to deserve such an amazing human being. I am truly blessed. I know this uptick is from the salt from last night's dinner and I don't expect it to stay for long, I am actually surprised it wasn't more. I ate so much food, i literally hurt myself. Still feeling slightly bloated this morning too. But I did exercise good and drank a little over 1 liter of water. Hopefully I can undo most of this damage by tomorrow but I know it will take a couple of days to see if it really has come off.
01/25 141.2 there we go! Exercised good, stayed under calories and drank 2 liters of water. Tomorrow is my weigh in day for some MFP groups, so hoping today I can push out a little more for an over all impressive weight loss this week, regardless of Wednesday's meal. I hope this weekend isn't too tough on me. Family breakfast and then off to a friend's house for the hockey game... I will stay diligent!

@jenn990205 I used to take the scale when I was doing WW and we drove cross country but I havenโt taken it on any of our cruises. I now take me KetoMojo and just track my Ketones. Youโll be fine, just be mindful and track the best you can.
@fraukazi Like you, I smile when I read of @deepwoodslady dancing. I looked in a mirror at myself dancing when I was about 12 and have never danced in public! Now we go to listen to a 60โs band once a week and the majority of people bouncing around look about the same as I did way back then.

I made chicken pot pie (single crust) last night - delish! but too much fat (butter, cream...). So I believe veggie soup is on the schedule tonight or tomorrow night! On the plus side, I've been back to weight training for about 3 weeks now and have increased the weights significantly, so am happy to see that I hadn't lost all previous progress on the strength front. Note to women losing weight - take care of your bones during the process! Talk to your doctor about checking Vit D level and your possible need for D and K and magnesium, and keep up weight-bearing exercise. My last DexaScan (bone density) showed significant bone density loss, probably due to significant weight loss the previous 3 years. We have to take care of our bodies as we reshape them.

Yep, it's cold outside! Not as bad as predicted, though, so I'll go to the Y. Did I mention I'm a cold weather wimp after 8 years on the southern coast of NC? ;-) Anyway, I'm back on track food wise, finally, and have channeled my baking urge into whole-grain bread instead of cookies and cakes. Better for us and I'm not tempted between meals!

1/23: 198.8 - thank goodness! ๐คฉ Onederland! This was the woosh I was expecting all last round. Hit all my goals yesterday.
1/24: 198.2 - met, and exceeded, all my goals yesterday. Tried drinking 150oz of water, which is recommended for my weight by a lot of calculators, but had to get up 3x during the night, so Iโll stick with the 100oz still, which allows me to sleep through the night. I made oatmeal chocolate chip walnut cookies with the kids yesterday AM, and have so far resisted having one. Normally I would crave one for breakfast with my coffee, but sweet doesnโt sound *as good* in the AMs after trying to do high protein in the mornings for the last month (this is a great NSV for me!), and I know if I start my day with one, it could all go downhill fast. Also, I tried switching 1 of my coffees for 1-2 black teas over the past week, and I was getting headaches, so I am back to coffee with milk (the only time I ever get headaches, for the last 20 years, has been from lack of caffeine.)
1/25: 196.6 - whoa, totally unexpected, but Iโll take it! Had a stressful day yesterday, and got some very sad news. Hit all my goals, but didnโt eat as nutritiously as I could have.

Last round I finally reached that elusive 140's decade that had been haunting/teasing me for the last couple of rounds. I hope to see a new low of 147/146 this round and continue to drop my 10 day average. I do have a 3 day family ski trip this weekend, so I am going to try and work around that and focus on my goals. I do not ski (not coordinated enough for that) but everybody else does. So I do a lot of reading, people watching, shopping, and drinking in the lodge. This round ends on a Friday, which is usually one of my lowest days of the week. So I am excited to see how this round goes.

01/23 -148.8 Back to normal after my weekend blip. Doing good today and have my lunch and water mapped out. DH and I have dinner plans with all 5 of our kids tonight. It is really hard to get everybody together anymore now that they are so busy with there own lives. We are going to Red Lobster so should be easy to stay in calories as long as I stay away from the rolls. 2 more days and we will be on vacation.
01/24 - 149.4 Up just a bit probably from dinner last night. I cheated and ate 1 of the roll (worth it), other than that did great. Work half day today, then my son has an orthodontist appt and my daughter has a cleaning at the dentist. Tonight packing and getting ready for out trip. Will weigh tomorrow, but the hubby said the scale is not coming with us, lol. So no weigh in after that until Monday. Hopefully it's not going to be to terrible.
01/25 - 149.4 didn't do great last night. Had a left over roll from Red Lobster and 2 beers. Lol, DH and I started our vacation a bit early. The rest of the day was good and I had a low calorie dinner. Leaving in about an hour and will try and update, but won't have weights. 01/23 162.6 Hoping to get back on track today with food and eating. Last month I was on a juice fast for three days during my time of the month, so it was hard to see what the weight fluctuations looked like. I started today so will start tracking that going forward since I already can feel myself retaining water more than usual.
01/24 161.6 Had a great day yesterday, but all day today I have had a splitting headache so was unable to go the gym. I have been drinking a lot of water and did stay in my calorie allowance, so hoping for a good weigh in tomorrow and for this headache to leave.

First Long Term Weight Goal: To weigh 175 by Valentineโs Day ๐๐๐ I hope to achieve this by losing about 1.5 pounds per week (or 2 lbs per round).
My Second Long Term Weight Goal: To weigh 155 by my Birthday on May 10th by sticking to my plan to lose 1.5 pounds per week (or 2 lbs per round).
My third Long Term Weight Goal: To weigh 145 by the 4th of July using the same plan as above.
Exercise:
During each Weight goal I plan on increasing my walking (back to what I did when I was on a downward trend). I also want to increase my cardio and regularly use weights to help firm my flabby arms.

01/23 โฆ.. 187.1 โฆ.. This thing we always hear about it being hard to lose weight in the winterโฆ. Well, they ainโt kiddinโ folks! Itโs not just the holidays! Itโs being stuck in during these snow storms & much much more. Iโm eating my stress & emotions for sure as Iโm stuck inside during this current 10โ of snow. Going out to shovel again in a minute-I do love it like some of the other gal so it will help. The inspector yesterday was very nice. He took a ton of pictures (some I cringe a bit on). The full report will come from the insurance company in the next couple of weeks. It will contain all the pics & what they expect me to take care of. Weโre always talking lots of $$$$. And what can I do in this weather? Not paint. Not roofing. Not cement repair. Ugggg. Ridiculous. Why donโt they come in the spring? Anyhoo, no dancing yesterday. LNS last night with emotional & stress eating. I am going to work much harder today on my mindset and plan. Lots of dancing in the works! Best of luck to all on this wonderful new round!
01/24 โฆ.. 186.8 โฆ.. Yesterday was great. Right on plan. IF 18:6 Over six hours of sleep which is phenomental for me! 21 Net Carbs. 1062 Calories. 16,231 steps. 6.93 miles of activity. 13/13 steps hours on fitbit. I danced 53 minutes (my son danced 39 of them with me!) Sample song: Beautiful Loser by Bob Segar. I usually do 10 or 11 songs working my way up in tempo to my peak song then back down but all are dancing beats of some type. I do everything from the twist to the Carleton and look like a fool. Lots of arm movement for the bat wings. Speaking of bat wings, maybe I should try the funky chicken lol. And no, I havenโt learned the floss dance yet, but my son said he would teach me! Anyway, I realized today that I am going to have to change my ticker if I donโt get back to my pre-Christmas weight soon, and I donโt want to do that, so I add that to my goals. Tonight is the potluck at the Pool Hall. I havenโt been in about 5 or maybe 6 weeks due to time constraints. I will try not to make it a food frenzy. I will eat something healthy & within plan before I go. I deserve a night out, but I also deserve to keep my ticker, so that will stay first & foremost on my mind.
01/25 187.3 Pool Hall & potluck at the Moose went well last night. I was a bit over on carbs and calories but ate way less than my old days. No dancing yesterday but I did get in a 35 minute walk. IF 16:8. 10,193 steps total. 4.34 miles. 12/13 step hours. 2301 calories burned. 4 hours 30 minutes of sleep. Today I am โsafeโ back at home and will be on point with eating plan & exercise. I enjoyed last night but the โinterested manโ totally ignored me. I think he didnโt like that I hadnโt shown up in 5 or 6 weeks during all the holidays & then emergencies at my home & business. Oh, well. My life & time is my own for the first time in my life and Iโm enjoying that major advantage. Right now Iโm in a pretty good place with all of it. I do miss my husband, but I donโt get too lonely because I stay so busy. Also, I donโt miss the dating stuff so I am okay with it. I enjoyed my time with my friend and came home afterward & we watched an episode of โThe marvelous Mrs. Maiselโ on Amazon for a TV/movie night. Weโve been trying to have a TV/movie night a couple times a week since my livingroom remodel. It was relaxing & nice. Today, however, I will be flapping my (bat) wings again. Sometimes, if the songs get a bit fast for my fitness level, I find myself resorting to the twist. I just want to publicly thank Chubby Checker for all the years of entertainment and for the inspiration. Also for a dance that "fits in" when nothing else will. Also to Ann Margaret (and Elvis) for the Watusi. Sometimes it works too. I love hitting my peak level! Have a good day everyone. I'm off for my first set! Meghan Trainor, I'm comin' for ya!

01/23 - 207.2 (2004 steps) I did NOT want to adult on Tuesday. I called off work and just slept. The eating that I did do wasnโt recorded or measured. No exercise. No meal prep. Meh! Hope to pick myself back up and restart for Wednesday.
01/24 โ 207.7 (3459 steps) I got back on track Wednesday. I went back to work and did a TON of meal prep when I got home. I cooked 4 pork chops, 3 round steaks, a package of large shrimp, and a package of scallops for a total of 11 meals to cover me up and thru the weekend. Today is a NEW day!
01/25 โ 203.6 (5573 steps) 17 minutes on bike (3.81 miles) โ Thursday was an awesome day. I wasnโt hungry. I didnโt snack. Work was stressful to the MAX but I did not ease that stress by eating. I actually allowed myself to have a pint of Halo Top ice cream and will ended up wayyyyyyy under my daily MFP calorie goal! (The shrimp/couscous concoction that I had prepped the other night might have turned out to be an epic fail, but Iโm new to actually cooking so Iโll keep trying.)

Ultimate Goal Weight โ 128; Hoping to be under 140 by end of June. (Not sure if this is possible for me but even well down in the 150โs would be better than where I am at now.

@euronorris - I had a terrible cold last round, and even though I hit my goals, the scale barely budged (-.2lbs in 10 days - super frustrating!) This round I am feeling better and the scale is making up for lost time and moving faster than expected. I definitely think being sick slows down the process. I hope you feel better soon!

01/24 146.8. Good to see a wee drop. I've been going over daily Cal's by about 60. I figure it will take me a week to adjust. Concentrating on getting the nutrients right, not so easy when daily calouries is 1200. But I'm definitely eating healthier and that's exactly what I need!

01/23 - 190.1 - I stayed low carb all day yesterday and Iโm on the right track for today so far!
01/24 - 189 - Headed in the right direction. I had a very stressful day and I really wanted to eat the stress away with carbs, but I didnโt. I wasnโt perfect on eating no carbs, but in the past I would have said screw it and gotten something sweet when I was stressed. Iโm really trying to clean up my relationship with food, especially carbs.
01/25 - 188.6 - Still headed in the right direction. I woke up feeling dehydrated and swollen. Hopefully I got enough water today. I had a glass of wine after work today, but carbs were low otherwise so maybe Iโll still stay under carbs today.

Goal: As a furloughed employee I didn't really how much of a challenge it would be for me to get my water in without the daily structure of work, so my goal for this round is to figure out a method that will work for me to get my water in while I am off work.

01/23--214.9 I am going to try a new plan to get my water in...I have a pitcher that I am going to fill with water and I'll place it on the table so that I can see the pitcher throughout the day. Hopefully, this will remind me to drink my water. Today is run day, hopefully the rain lets up soon. Yoga tonight.
01/24--214.9 The water pitcher idea from yesterday worked! Even though I increased my water intake yesterday, I also did a lot of mindless snacking yesterday, so I need to work on that today. Finished w2d2 of c25k yesterday; however, I woke up this morning with some pain around the knee, so I don't know if I will be going to the gym today. I think I will do some stretching/foam rolling and if the knee feels better I will go to the gym later this evening, if no change then I will just skip the gym today.
01/25--214.9 Third day in a row for this weight. Finished w2d3 today, so far so good.
