@ajhouse thanks for the explanation! I might try going up some calories in a month (hopefully close to 135 by then). The hard thing is sometimes the scale doesn’t reflect the work you think you’ve put in and sometimes it goes down days that you weren’t 100%

    2/21 – starting this challenge - 158.8...
    4/16 – 149.0...
    6/1 – 143.4...
    7/6 – 139.4 - working to get out of the 130's now...
    8/2 – 134.8
    8/4 – 134.0
    8/5 – 133.8
    8/6 – 133.6
    8/7 – 133.4
8/8 – 132.6 – 50lbs lower than my highest weight ever! 37.8lbs for this part of my journey, since 1/1. I felt like I was stuck in the 150s forever, then 140s, then around 136, but now I am (finally) getting close to breaking into the 120s!
    8/9 – 133.0
    8/10 – 132.4
    8/12 – 133.0
    8/13 – 132.4
    8/14 – 132.0
    8/15 – 132.4
    8/16 – 131.6 – getting so close to the 120s!
    8/21 – 131.0
    8/23 – 130.8
    8/24 – 129.8 - yay!
    8/25 – 130.6 - and back up
8/26 – 131.2 - It might sound crazy, but over the last couple of months I have noticed I tend to bloat/gain around ovulation. Hopefully that means I will drop back down tomorrow.

I’m curious for those that are in the 160s and below, how many lbs has been a change in size roughly? I’m currently a size 8/10, but at the beginning of my journey was a size 14/16 at 172.6 lbs (5’1’’)

    At 160-170 (5'5") I think I was wearing a 12. I am currently 128ish and wearing a 6 on average. I have 1 pair of 4s that fit great and a couple of 8s.
My sister is 5'2" and weighs around 120 and wears a 4.

Thank you! I haven’t been below 135 in 10 years, but ideally would be a size 4-6 so was curious if I had to dip below 120, which at 136.1 seems daunting, but possible. 110 would seem impossible

I have been AWOL on this thread since a few days after joining. I did make it down to 154 from 159... and then decided that since the hubby had just retired, and the summer was coming, I was going to go on maintenance until the fall. Well... the fall is here as far as I'm concerned, and gained 8 pounds while on "Maintenance", and I'm now starting to get serious again! I had gotten myself back into the 60's, but as of this morning, I'm back at 159.6... so here we go, and I am OFF and running! Well, hiking, really, but who's counting? ME! That's who! ;)

And reading back, y'all are doing wonderfully!!! Kicking myself for not keeping up with y'all and just slip sliding away for the past months! So much inspiration on this thread!

These types of threads are great for accountability for me because even if I go up a week, I know I have support and am still trying to get closer to that goal.

You can see how I've dropped and came back up. Welp, I finally saw the 140's twice in a week! Decided, after a lot of reading and research, to return to my Intermittent Fasting and be consistent about it. Been doing it for about 6 weeks and FINALLY seeing progress. That's what I did to get down to the 140s last time (March) and it seems to be working now. Hopefully I can stick with it and make it back down to my low (143) and below!
