03/04: 245.8 - I ate some delicious food yesterday and it shows. No use crying over spilled hollandaise sauce, just need to get back on track today. I have no regrets.
03/05: 243.8 - I've been sticking to my workouts and stayed within my calories yesterday. I'm crossing my fingers that I see 242 this week because everytime I see 243 it keeps going back up. I need to get past the 5 lb mark! I'm ignoring my additional "exercise calories".
03/06: 243.6 - of course I would have love to see that number go down more but if I can see a 0.2 loss every day I will be happy. Plus I've never held 243 more than one day without going back up so that's an achievement in itself. I logged all my food yesterday, did my C25K workout, and got in 11,800 steps. My calories were a smidge high so I'll concentrate on keeping those low today.

03/04 - NW - I did two episodes of Zombies, Run! and intended to do another, but I needed to finish hooking a hat together for a trip today. However, I might cancel that trip due to ice on the sidewalks; I have no desire to end up with a broken hip. I will likely instead have lunch and do a Zombie, Run! Food is doing good.
03/05 - 306.2 - WHOOOSH! - About to have breakfast. My aide comes today. So, I will go for a walk after she leaves to avoid having to pace in the apartment. I'm not allowed to leave her alone in the apartment. I'm averaging two walks a day of Zombies, Run! I just wish it would consistently pick up my steps. I've increased my steps to 7,000.
03/06 - NW - Did two episodes of Zombies, Run! yesterday. Food is okay. I'm figuring out today as it is Ash Wednesday and therefore technically a fast day, but gotta eat with some of my meds. I will be going Mallwalking today. Woot! I have considered taking advantage and doing an episode while I'm there. I don't anticipate the mall will be very busy today which helps my anxiety. I plan on walking at least two episodes today.

Day/Weight/Comment:
03/04 - 137.4 lbs. (Up 2.4 pounds) I think yesterday was a fluke and that I showed as 135 because I was so dehydrated. I drank like 5 vodka sodas on Saturday night, but I also did so much dancing! Haha. So today I am back to the basics but I have changed my calories to 1480 (losing .5 lb per week). I hope I can stick with this without worrying about gaining weight. 1480 is not that much.
03/05 136.4 lbs. Coming back down 🙌 I had a hard time eating up to my calorie goal yesterday. But I did eat more than 1200, (1346), and since I realized eating too much in the evening is challenging I will add an extra 100 calories to my breakfast 🙂. I think it's my Fitbit that threw me off. I don't want to see my chart turn red (i.e. more calories in than out). But it's mind over matter right now. I am trying to build myself up for life long success.
03/06 136.4 lbs. 😃 This is good! I increased my calories yesterday and I was afraid it might show on the scale (1471). I think this is going great and honestly I had a moment of self reflection yesterday where I realized this last 1.5 pounds doesn't really matter. I'm happy with where my body is at right now. I just don't want to gain weight back. And NSV Yesterday I got a pair of jeans I ordered from Old Navy in the mail and they fit perfectly.

GW for this challenge: 199.8

Day/Weight/Comment
03/04: 202.6 (I’m glad I started at a good number! I lost about 0.4 pounds since yesterday which never happens on a Monday morning. I’m hoping for a great start to the week! Last night I ate some soup and salad and did a 40 minute stepper workout.)
03/05: 201.2 (This drop was nice! I felt very energized last night to do my 2 workouts. One was 20 minutes on the elliptical and the other was a core workout. I even made a nice oven fried chicken dinner too which is rare for a Monday since I usually do those on the weekend. I think all this working out is really affecting my energy level, in a good way, and I love it!)
03/06: 201.4 (A slight increase which most likely has to do with an increase in exercise. On a weekly basis, I increase my minutes on the elliptical and the last two weeks this has been affecting my weight loss with most likely water weight because of my sore muscles. But I'll stay the course and I'm sure one day the pounds will fall!)

03/04. 191.6. Up from yesterday, but had a great family, not over the top calories-wise, with wine. Should be lower in next few days. Hoping, hoping to be consistently in the 180’s this time. Very motivated to see numbers I haven’t seen in many years.
03/05. 190.4. Weekend gain nearly gone. Tried some a bit too tight pants on yesterday, and they are now loose.
03/06. 188.8. WOW, did not expect this! But I will take it.

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

Hi-I’m Karen
Sept. 2018 OSW 187 (Was my Round #1)
UGW 135.....yes, 135!
Goal this round-159-hopefully!
3/4-166-Birthday cake and ice cream for dinner with our widowed friend. (All of our kids are grown and gone.)I knew I was going to feel awful, so I had milk with protein powder and some peanut butter....Our friend is very trim and fit and I never see her eat crap like that, but yesterday was her exception, and we happily joined in. I got her flowers (because I see how healthy she eats)and her sister in law brought her a cake and ice cream and I realized what a wonderful gesture that was because I realized nobody else provided her with a cake and she is a mom. I realized then, that “every mom deserves a cake”.
3/4-162-That is a swoosh I had been expecting. I ate sensibly yesterday and got to walk in the morning and evening.
3/5-165-Salty soup and salad dressing. More rain, so I have to get out walking soon.
You people are the only people on earth who know how much I weigh!
I’m glad you are all here!!!
Let’s have a great round!!!17 -

Day/Weight/Comment
03/04- 354.8 I’m seriously surprised by this loss. I stayed on track yesterday, but had a horrible night and was up fairly late and am aching this morning. My mother in law got lost, ran out of gas,and we had to try to help her from 10 hours away. Thanks to the New Mexico State police we got someone out there to help her. On top of that my brother was rushed to emergency surgery for an abscess and sepsis. Today’s goal is to not over eat from stress and being tired.
03/05- 354.2 My brother is doing well and should be out of the hospital tomorrow. After posting yesterday I realized my kitchen pipe was frozen, we got it thawed without any additional problems. My mother in law is still on the road, but is now deciding to stop at night rather than risk going into ditches or running out of gas. Thanks again to my supportive spouse I didn’t binge eat yesterday. Partially because he did! That’s right he stress ate a few baked goods I had set aside so that I wouldn’t.
03/06- 355.2 It took a good long look at yesterday’s diary to figure this one out. I think it’s from my pancakes and muffin dinner with a bit of sodium weight tossed in. It’s okay I know that it’s water and will be gone in a day or two.

03/04 155.7, new week, new month. I’m feeling confident I can get to my goal of 152 by the end of the month.
10,832 Steps, 35 minutes of exercise, 72 oz of water
03/05 155.5, today is Mardi Gras and I am giving up chips and cereal for lent (my two snacking vices so might indulge a bit in both of those). Tomorrow, I am going to do two small meals and will be meat free on Fridays.
8927 steps, 60 minutes of exercise, 72 oz of water
03/06 155.5, I’ll take being the same weight since the weather has been terrible here with rain and high winds. I love walking for errands so it’s been challenging getting steps in with the weather. Today I’m going to fast for Ash Wednesday. I normally take a basic strength class on Wednesday’s but will take it on Saturday instead bc too intense for a fasting day.

I'm back at it again! I used to do these challenges back in 2017 and lost over 30 pounds but then life happened and I fell off the wagon and gained it all back. I am hoping to lose a total of 60 pounds over the next year and this keeps me accountable!
Goal weight: 140-150
Short-term goal: Be under 200 by April 1st
Day/Weight/Comment
03/04 207.8 just like riding a bike - getting back to eating better and moving more. It's all a matter of deciding to do it!
03/05 207 I feel bloated this morning. I should try to stop eating by 7 or 8 pm.
03/06 - 205.4 I got some weird sickness yesterday around 2pm with fever, body aches, chills so I haven't eaten anything since 1pm - hence the big weight drop. Today I'm almost back to 100% but still no appetite. Oh and now it's my TOM soo... That would be where the bloating came from yesterday!

03/04: 312.50 (+4.00) - Not a surprise or a worry. I'm having severe fatigue issues right now, I treated myself to whatever I wanted from a fish and chip shop yesterday evening, a lot of deep fried food, a lot of salt, and overall an extremely heavy evening meal. Expected a gain today. Still feel full from it! Kept it light until then, so only came in around maintainance. Planning the same today calorie-wise for my sanity, and in the hopes a small refeed may help my fatigue. This is my pill free week so I'm more prone to gaining and holding water during it, I have no idea how I'll do this week, I'll make sure I'm under maintainance, otherwise I'm not too worried, although I'd like to go back to my defecit tomorrow. I won't allow myself over and regaining weight, losing it is best for my health in the long run! But fatigue always makes me very hungry, hence the sanity side of a refeed. Tricky balance at times.
03/05: 312.25 (-0.25) - Expected higher, high calories yesterday and I feel bloated. Shark week issues. Overall ok.
03/06: 310.00 (-2.25) - Feel bloated as anything so I checked this multiple times. I expect I'll have a small Woosh sometime soon though, when any period water weight eases off (plus TMI, my digestive system has come to a standstill), getting under 308 is so near, it's almost frustrating!

03/04 - 159.6
03/05 - 159.2
03/06 - 158.4 😍 I was kinda shocked to see this weight on the scale this morning, last night I skipped running and went out for Lebanese food, I indulged in fresh wood fired baked pita bread with lots of hummus, falafels, fried cauliflower and mujadra. So yummy, if you can't tell, I love food! 😂
I did get up early today and do a short run with my dog. Today I have a healthy day of eating and exercise planned. Salad and a walk for lunch, soup and a walk for dinner. Happy hump day!

@tiabirdie56 Tish, thanks for the insight! I can see where these are all likely possibilities. I think I’ll enjoy the combo again today!
@Rob72Essex Six minutes is better than 0 minutes! Now go for Seven!
@zappa2017 I have found that changes seldom occur overnight. Look back at what you had even doing in the 2-3 days prior to your loss.
@Fit2_T Congrats on reaching ONEderland!7
