Left is before my physical slimming journey started in summer 2015. Mentally I was already setting the groundwork with self-compassion and self-acceptance.
Right is towards the end of 2019.

Update photo and very important. I’ve been in maintenance for about a year now. It’s been a pretty successful year as i am a couple of pounds under my goal weight I reached last January.
What’s important is that the scale will never tell you the full story relative to your progress and/or health. If I only measured progress by the scale, you could say the last year was bad. But I like the way I feel and can still see changes to my body in the update pics, even though I’m in maintenance. Give yourself a mental break from the scale. Take plenty of pics cause they will reveal the true progress you are all making. That is all...

Weight loss was a long time ago now, April 2015 to around end of 2015, when I was age 59-60. Photos below are from further apart than that, but representative of the starting/ending weights and appearance. I think the before pic was sometime in 2014 at weight in mid-180s, and the after was May 2018 (really goofing around!) at weight in mid-130s when I was 62. I'm 5'5", now age 64, and very close to that same after weight (+/- normal fluctuations).
