Morning ladies
Just checking in.. had a good time last night working 10-5 today and will come down and feed DFIL tonight.. I'm down here waiting for them to get him up now..1 -
I’ll play who am I:
I am Kay. I’m 64 years old and live in Northeast Georgia, USA. I’ve been married for 44 years this August. We have two grown children, A daughter who just turned 40 and the mother of my two grandchildren - a 10 year old boy and a 6 year old girl, and a 38 year old bachelor son. I’m a retired mathematics educator, got my doctorate in my late 40s, and am now heavily involved in a volunteer position in Lay Servant Ministries at the district and conference level of my church. My profile says I’ve lost 36 lbs, but it’s really more like 50 since I lost some before I started MFP. I’m in somewhat of a holding pattern right now but trying to kick it up a notch. I need to lose about 40 more. I’ve been a part of this thread for several years, sometimes participating more actively than others but always reading and cheering you on, even if I don’t comment on your posts.
Here’s my before and “in progress.”

Kim ~ Love the feathers...so colorful and thoughtful! Glad you found someone to go with you on the trip you were dreading. It will make it so much easier.
Getting the staples out of my knee today...Yeah! Hoping I will soon be able to drive again but don't trust my right foot for braking yet as I still find it difficult to place any weight on it.
Thanks to all who are sharing their life! I don't have much to tell as my life is pretty uninteresting. I will be 71 in August and I will have been married for 50 yrs in August. I taught 5th grade for 31 yrs and retired at age 58. We have one son and two grands who are 7 & 9. We are a very family oriented group and I am so glad that we celebrate all occasions with my DnL and her family. That is truly a blessing!

Did a DVD for the rebounder today. The plan for tomorrow is to do Jillian Michaels 30 Day shred DVD
Evelyn – Our cat one time brought a live bird into the house and proceeded to let it go. Poor bird was scared s***less. He went all over my walls, my curtains, etc. I swear the cat had a smile on his face with feathers from the bird sticking out of his mouth while he watched us trying to catch this bird.
Shannon – what kind of surgery are you having? Hope everything goes well. Those cats eating look like our cats when they’re eating
Barbara – I’m trying to imagine baby’s breath for the dust storm for PigPen. How are you thinking that it should be?
Welcome everyone new!
Thursday here: did Jillian Michael’s 30 Day shred DVD. The plan for tomorrow is to take the water class.
Need to volunteer at the Green Room. First, I’ll go to Food Lion (right by my house), I need to return one item and get Gatorade while I’m there since it’s on sale and I get $2 off. Then stop at the soup kitchen to make a donation from the church. When I get home I’ll make the ricotta cookies for Denise and the cake for Sunday.
Heather – sure hope you get better fast
Vicki – I like the idea of the thing from Halloween to be Pig Pen’s “dust”. I probably should starch it (the netting) so that it doesn’t just flop over on him. Put Charlie Brown in to be fired last night
Shari – yea for waistlines! You SHOULD be proud
Bananas – I’m not sure exactly how many people are on this thread, but seeings how it goes so very fast and so many people talk about how they can’t keep up, I would say a lot
Rori – you sure do have a good way of looking at the fractures. Wish I was closer to help you out
Laura – I actually prefer shirataki noodles now to regular spaghetti. Every time I put them in soup, I think of Heather who gave me the idea
Want to post this before I have to leave.

Thursday, 2 May 2019 … 4.2 km walking
This was my first recreational walk in ages!! Most of my lunches are full of appointments or errands and I'm dashing hither, thither and yon trying to get stuff done. But I woke up this morning and realised I could actually do a recreational walk!!
So, just a few quick snaps of my walk.
First I headed to the waterfront to have a look at the Antarctic ship. I think it's back now for the winter.
And then a view of Mt Wellington ... or maybe not so much. It was a gloomy, low cloud day.
And the controversial new walk/cycle bridge. It actually looks better from this angle than any other.
I need to do more lunch walks like that because it tired me out ... me, who just a few months ago would go for lunch runs of 5-8 km. I'm out of shape!
And now I need to get back to my homework. I'm creating a business profile. It's mostly done, except for the presentation aspect ... I need to find a template I like so that it's not just a boring report.

Barbie thank you very much for keeping us going. Makes me think of your walking emojis, you energizer bunny, you! Your 2019 word "pause" was the focus of today's dog group training. Teaching our dogs to pause at every curb, threshold etc as a way of calming them and helpin them focus on us. Great word!
Welcome Nerys, asolita, dives371, Shari, ChrisCatMama, ShellyBell999, rubyslipperss1 in Houston and Jen8000LM! Whew!
Kim loved what you and Lisa and all said to Rori about her breathing a sigh of relief over 2 cracked ankles and a broken foot . Ditto Karen in VA's, Kate's and NYKaren's comments about your feather patches. Brilliant! So happy events transpired so that you can look forward to this wedding. You'll want to see all the grins as people receive their "favors".
I am Barbara, an Ageing Hippie, Mother of Dogs (Skye Terriers, Scooter male, 14 from the shelter, and Tumble, female 4, from a breeder at 4 months.) Born in SF, lived in the East Bay as a child, teen years in rural Northern Califiornia and then Bay Area again from college forward.
Joe and I met at 35, married at 38, that was 31 years ago, you do the math
Our only children have four paws and fur, though we did foster 3 nephews for a couple of years (a very long story).
Worked in transportation since childhood (Papa was a Railway Express Agent who taught me the names of the states and their capitals before I was in kindergarten, Mama taught me to read). Back in the late 70's when the first "mini" computers came on board, I was the only one in the office who was stubborn enough to make it do what I wanted it to, so slid by the seat of my pants into an IT career in the shipping industry. That career moved us from the SF Bay Area to Boise Idaho in '97.
20 years later we retired and moved back to the ocean, but in remote, rural, forested southern Oregon, to a 30 yr old manufactured home on 15 vertical acres with a distant ocean "peek" between the trees.
Joined mfp in 2008, took off 15 lbs. At 4'11" I've been schelpping the remaining extra 40-50 lbs around for way too long. Even though my food choices have gotten healthier (still a way to go, too much sugar!) and I'm Alcohol Free 70% of the time, have barely taken off 1 lb/month since returning to MFP in 2017.
If it weren't for line dancing, T'ai Chi, walking with Tumble and dinking around in the dirt, my only exercise would be turning pages, clicking or rolling over. I love to read and nap!!! ;}
April intention was to: 1. try something new this month (either keyboard or sewing machine); 2. bring all the percentages up. Strategy is to invest 5 minutes in one of the goals after each spider/free cell game. Linking to something I know I'll do every day might help.
Forgot my strategy played way too much Spider and Free Cell.

Kim, I am so happy that a miraculous solution appeared to make it possible for you to go to your friends' wedding. The favors you are making are beautiful.
Kay, what a fabulous change from before to now.
Bananas, you have a very full life with lots to do. I am amazed at how much you accomplish. You keep finding ways to fit in more things and stay on your healthy path.
Barbara Where did you live in "rural Northern California"?
Carol, Your life sounds very satisfying and sustaining. Slow and steady will bring you great recovery from your surgery.

Barbie - thank you for getting us charging into May! Great job on the steps for both you and Jake, so glad he's feeling good.
Katla - several years ago we had those little carpet beetles. I had a basket of felted wool balls - cat toys shoved in the corner of our living room. Dug into it one day and was horrified to see the little beetles had eaten channels through most the balls. I got out the vacuum and tossed everything....managed to save the basket - I cannot remember what I used to treat it, but I aired it out before bringing it back into the house. Yesterday, I accessed the Master Gardener "Pestsense" feature which NOW says chemical pesticides are not recommended, use natural means like vacuuming, etc. Poppycock, lol. You have large rugs. Glad you could order pyrethin (sp) - it's fairly safe as compared to most.
Heather - I too wonder if your DH wore the nail varnish to the restaurant? LOL. He is such a good sport to act as a patient when they play doctor and as a model.
Rori - So glad to hear you will be able to be mobile with the boot. You are made out of tough stuff! Thank goodness for automatic transmissions, eh?
Welcome to all new ladies - I am thoroughly enjoying reading everyone's "story". Here's mine:
I was born and raised on a farm in Indiana. Graduated from IU. Married a Marine, we lived in VA for a while then moved to the Seattle area where I worked in the seafood business - administrative - then moved on to a job with a seafood accountant. In the mid-90's we moved to a farm close to Olympia, WA and raised sheep and I got an administrative job at the 911 Center which I eventually managed for 4 years. Retired from that for a few years, then got a part time job with the county road department-engineering & property management, mainly for the insurance to and fund my state pension. Retired at 65 - I am now 67. Our kids are our dogs, lol. Been married 42 years. My husband has RA - diagnosed in the mid 90's. Has dealt with it pretty well until the past couple years and I've also starting having some health issues. But overall, life is wonderful and I find many things to be grateful for every day. And what I'm not grateful for, I visualize kicking in the tushie, lol.
Or PIP kicking it in the tushie! with her famous boot!!
Have a good day ladies!

bananas I have 26 years of service in NYS as a teacher, I will need to teach four more years to get a "safe pension amount" so I am making peace with sticking around. I admire your service to Union work, it is such an important service to the teaching profession IMHO.
Having another stressful day, but checking in here is a comforting activity for me!
NYKAREN2 -
I meditated 5 min and cleaned a good hour: ironed, put away laundry, tossed some expired herb tea, cleaned the stovetop, straightened the spice and tea shelf, shoe shelves, coat closet, paper and plastic bags.
Was planning to go for a walk/errands but there's a downpour right now; and I'm exhausted! even doing a few errands seems hard for me to fathom at present.1 -

U KNOW IT1 -
Hi ladies. I'm a re-starter. My name is Barb, and I'd love to make a few friends to share the journey.
I'm 57 and have been married for 39 years. We have 2 adult children, 4.95 grandchildren (the 5th is due May 24), and 2 big dogs. I own a b&b and am also a professional crafter.
I love to hike, bicycle and snowshoe. 12-ish years ago, I quit smoking and gained 80 lbs. I lost all of it about 8-ish years ago by counting calories and exercising regularly and maintained until 3-ish years ago, when osteoarthritis in both knees became so painful that I quit moving and began overeating and gained back a lot of what I had lost.
I had both knees replaced in 2018; the first on October 4 and the second on December 8. I'm just now getting mobile enough to cook and measure all my food. I have randomly been able to do short hikes-like an hour on mostly flat, unpaved terrain, but had to rest the other 6 days of the week.
I am finally strong enough to cook and exercise consistently; albeit the exercise is still minimal compared to my pre-osteo "normal". I am on Day 7 of calorie counting, and Day 4 of WATP video walking.
My May goals:
Log all food daily, and net 1500-1800 calories.
14 minutes/day X 5 days/week of WATP, which I log as a 4 minute mile, and is equivalent to 14 min of low impact aerobics.
Minimum of 1 hour a week hiking on mostly flat mixed terrain.

Love reading all The Who Am I posts. I am the oldest one of them all. This July I will be 80!!! I feel like I am 50 but am sure I look older. I married my high school sweetheart the Sunday after I graduated college that as almost 58 years ago. Longer than some of you have been alive. It’s strange that I don’t think of you all as being my children’s age but just as my friends. We have three children and nine grands. The loves of my life. My DH was in the Air Force for 24 years so we were able to travel and live lots of different places. when we moved to Texas, I got a job at a university in the Financial Aid office because we had two in college and I needed to know more about aid. Retired 15 years later as the Director of Fin Aid. We live 45 miles from Fort Worth in a gated community. It has everything you could ask for and even EMT within 5 minutes. I play golf twice a week, do yoga and balance class at the Y and play bridge. You may notice I haven’t mentioned weight loss but that is because I am stalled. Going to get my head straight as soon as it quits hurting. So, over all, I am blessed, happy and content.
Oh, my name is Sue13 -
Hi all!
I'm a 51 year old newbie. Never had problems with my weight due to being super active however, after quitting smoking and having my daughter plus working desk job... well I'm sure you know what happens! I weigh more now than I did 9 months pregnant with my daughter. I love to play tennis but have recently developed Plantar Faciitis. Bottom line? I need to lose weight AND get healthier.
I currently play tennis (doubles) about once a week and other than that, rarely get much exercise. My daughter is going away to school in the fall so I wont have to worry about making the 4:30 PM pick up - I plan do join a gym and do some swim calsses and ZUMBA classes.
Foodwise? I have some real issues! I LOVE to eat. I LOVE to cook. I have a serious sweet tooth as well as a cheese addiction. I'm trying with carrots to handle the sweet cravings. Would love any suggestions about what other substitutes I can make.

Dives371: Welcome! :flowerforyou:
Margaret: I am in awe of your resilience and I’m still angry on your son’s behalf. Yours too. Did you send any letters to the editor of the local paper? They might be more effective than sending them to the mayor or police chief. Maybe they should all get the letter at the same time. The police certainly need better training. :grumble:
Betsy: You’ll be missed while you’re away. :flowerforyou:
Sharon: Your window is gorgeous!
Shari: Congratulations on your progress! WTG!!!
Lisa: I love the Pink Cast. Thanks for sharing. It makes absolutely great sense to me.
Heather: Your DH is an absolute gem and possibly the most fun grandfather in the world.
(((Rori))): I hope you heal well and swiftly. I’m glad you got the green light for the recumbent bike on light resistance. I’m also thrilled that you will be able to drive. Our niece’s significant other is an Uber driver and so is one of my former teaching colleagues. Their service is a blessing to many people.
Machka: I love your prayers for May. Thank you!!
I am Katla. I am married to the love of my life and next year will be our 50th anniversary. I am 69 and a retired school teacher. My last assignment was 8th grade US history from prehistory to about 1890. I have two adult children and four grandchildren. My daughter has a girl and two boys. My son has one son and he and his wife are hoping for another child. Sadly, both of my kids live far away from DH and me. I don’t get to see them very often. DH has health problems and hates to travel. I’ve been hoping for an RV adventure this year to see both of them. DH wants me to fly while he stays home. We haven’t agreed on the trip so far.

Lanette: We have ordered pyrethrin spray as recommended by our County Extension agent and it is on its way. I can hardly wait for it to get here. Meanwhile, I'm vacuuming up little black bugs in the windows. :grumble:2

Katla, I also found one of those wool balls under my hutch and sure enough those rotten little bugs found it too. Makes a person wonder where they come from? After getting rid of them several years ago, I haven't seen any since. So I'm crossing fingers once you give them what-for they'll be gone for good.

Kim - I just love the feather patches, they are beautiful. I'm happy for you that you get to have company and an assist with the costs for the trip.
Bananasandoranges - I am truthfully just looking for a job, I have worked in the same industry doing admin work for over 25 years and I have learned what I don't want but not what I do want. I have been in talks now to two financial type positions and I think it is something I would rather enjoy. I like numbers and I like people. If I had my life to live over I would go back to school and become a counselor or therapist of some kind specializing in teens and young adults. I love working with the younger generations and feel that there are too many of them in our world that just needs someone to listen without judgement. Someone that will guide them but not discard their thoughts and ideas, I have learned a lot from younger people and feel they have a lot to contribute to society when we listen.
Kay - you have the prettiest smile. I am in the need to "kick it up a notch" stage right now too.
Machka- What a beautiful walk you had.
I have truly enjoyed reading everyone's "Who am I" posts. I love hearing people's stories.
I am waiting for the lady to call me to chat about what I have learned in my reading and studying and make her decision about whether I am ready to meet the boss yet or not. I haven't done much else this morning except catch up on Social Media posts and groups. It is time I got off my butt and start moving. I have nothing really to do today except put laundry away. I cleaned out some clothes yesterday that were too big for me and have bagged them up to send off to the local thrift store. I am going to need to do some serious shopping once I get back to work. Since I still want to lose another 50lbs I will be frugal about it though.
Have a great day everyone,
Tracey in Edmonton1 -
Hi everyone, happy May. I made my goal last month and now am out of the obese range, happy happy. Getting ready for a bike ride since the weather is nice. My goal this month is to lose the last 10 pounds, as slow as I am though it will probably be a couple of months.

Kim -- Those patches are lovely. You do such nice work.0

Who am I?
I am Felicia (58), married to my second husband for about 14 years. We have a 12 year old son together; I have two other sons, 18 and 23, and my husband has five (4 sons, 1 daughter), ages 28-38. I also have five step-grandchildren, ages 1.5 to 5. We have a dog and a cat, and two grand-puppies. I am a former English professor, current college administrator.
These are the things that define me right now: I have celiac disease, so am 100% gluten free. My family deals with mental illness on all sides. My sister had schizophrenia, and was semi-institutionalized, but died about 18 months ago, unexpectedly. My husband's only brother is paranoid, and while he lives on his own, he is now medicated and watched over very closely by my husband's father and step-mother. My oldest son suffers from extreme anxiety and depression, and recently quit his job because of a severe emotional crisis. He is trying to recover, but won't take medication and only occasionally goes to counseling. He lives with us, and it is causing a lot of stress. My middle son also suffers anxiety, but takes his medication and faithfully attends counseling sessions. He came out as gay about 18 months ago (he had told me and his brother years ago), and has a transgender (female to male) boyfriend. Even with all that (and maybe because of), I have a deep Christian faith.
I would love to have a normal life, and I get pretty frustrated and discouraged, very often. I am currently reading Lysa Terkeurst's book "It is not supposed to be this way" about living with disappointment. I had lunch with a good friend of mine yesterday, who has also read the book, and I had a minor breakdown at the lunch table (I was describing a picture a friend had posted with her husband, two children and their spouses on a "date night" together, and I told my friend, "If only!"), and she calmly said, "Maybe now is not a good time to be reading this book." I will soldier on, however.
I was at my goal weight when my sister died, and I have slowly gained back about 15 pounds, but I am recommitting myself to getting back down below 130. (I am 5'3").
Sometimes my life interferes, but I try to log in and at least read everyone's posts. Sometimes I comment on my phone, and I am afraid that my responses sound terse and sharp, especially since I don't usually say that much, but I have really grown to love all of these women and their journeys.

Heather-Your DH is such a good grandpa. He is like my DH with the grandchildren. We are Blessed.
Rori--You inspire me.
Who am I? My name is Vicki and I live in the middle of Nebraska.I just turned 62 in March. I have been married to my DH for 34 years and between us we have 7 children, 23 grand children, 5 great grandsons. Our oldest son passed away 20 years ago next month, he was 24, heleft us 2 beautiful granddaughters. I work at a hospital for the last 32 years and supervisor of my dept of 12. My DH and I ride motorcycles and belong to Christiasen Motorcycle Assc. I have been over weight my whole life and had lap band surgery in 2012. I have lost around 100 pounds and would like to lose 70 more. My highest weight was 402 and I was 370 when I had the surgery. This group is great and I love each of you and depend of you to keep me going. Thanks.
Kathy--Thanks for sharing and your fur babies are cute.
Kim--The feathers are beautiful. I am glad that you are feeling better about going to the wedding and have someone to share the cost with.
Been an interesting day at work and I am ready to go home and hide out a couple hours and destress , but need to run to Wal-mart and pick up a couple things. Turning out to be a beautiful day weather wise. I am hoping for at least 70 something Saturday as we are to go on our yearly fund raising ride with our CMA motorcycle group.
Blessings, Vicki GI NE4 -
(((Felicia))) despite all the recent ads for mental illness there is still so much misunderstanding around it. Just like cancer there all different types and serverities too.
I hear if he just would stay on his meds he would be fine. Oh he is the hospital so your prayers are answered and he will be fine. He is in our prayers so he will be fine. Sometimes it is just silence...
All of these responses are normal.
Mental illness is illness just like cancer, heart disease, diabetes. You do not say you are fine when you are going through one of them.
Other patients receive cards and flowers. They are rare in a mental health ward.
What others do not understand is about my life is that it has new set point a new normal for me. I celebrated that our son Came for Christmas one year even though he was rude. He was there.
I celebrated I was able to give him an Easter meal without him getting upset.
For me I find beauty in gardening, singing, and painting. Subbing also gives my life meaning.
I am not defined by my son's illness. It is his illness, and he has to live with it.
My role is just to be there for him and to pick up what pieces I can when he falls. Just as I would if he had any other illness.
Margaret

Hi all, so many things I want to say, but will probably forget!
Kim - gorgeous patches and a fabulous photo. It would make a great picture for your walls.
KJ - and others - the nail varnish was washable. I was a bit horrified when I saw Edie putting it on him, but she assured me it was washable and had come off the front of a kid's magazine. She is 5 going on 35. She even changed Bea's place mat at dinner time to an orange one, because "'we don't want to have her shrieking at us, she only likes orange ones." She knows where everything is, like the cheese grater I couldn't find.
Here she is dressing up yesterday after they had finished DH.
Felicia - you certainly have a lot of stressors. My elder son has had a lot of anxiety in the past. I must admit I was so glad he did not live nearby. There is a lot of mental illness around in our families too. Including me in the past.
Rori - Go Rori!
Spent most of the morning wondering whether to go to the doctor, then I went to the doctor, went home, got a call to come back, then he said, come back tomorrow if you aren't any better. I do feel a bit better. Started taking the D -Mannose.
Decided to rack up a bit of calorie burn and managed an extra 300 by going to vote in the local elections, going up and down the street four times to the doctor, walking on the spot in front of the tv, and an hour of recumbent biking.
Great joy is my cleaners came (after twice rearranging the time again ) and they did their usual AMAZING job! Two Brazilian women going hell for leather for an hour. Wow! We are gleaming! They only come once a fortnight because "your house is so clean" !!!!!
About me? Well, I am writing the second volume of my memoir! There is sooooooooooooo much to say! Don’t know how to summarise it. I've led a rackety and unconventional life.
I am now married to my wonderful DH, who is step granddad to 3 amazing grandkids. On Monday it will be 16 years since the day we met. We always celebrate that. We are going out to a Latin American concert in the Spiegeltent for the Brighton Fringe Festival. Afterwards we are going to Terre a Terre for a fabulous vegetarian meal. We are omnivores, but this place is something else! Today I bought him a new limited edition Caran d' Ache ballpoint pen I saw in a fancy interiors magazine. Found the pen on Amazon. It's marine blue with a turquoise clip.
My ulterior motive is that he leaves pens and pencils out on the side table next to his sofa. I like them to match the decor. Last Christmas I bought him a swanky silver pencil sharpener. Now it's just the rubber and the pencil that drive me nuts! (Yes, I know I'm OCD)

Who am I
My name is Mary. I am a Snowbird, I live half time in Minnesota and the other half in Arizona. We live at resorts in two different RVs that we own. In the spring and fall my husband farms in Minnesota. We own a house and cabin which we rent out. I am a former teacher of earth science. I am married to my second husband. I have a son and daughter both are married. I have a granddaughter and grandson. My husband has three daughters, three grandsons and two granddaughters. Most of you know I have a German Shepherd named Shep. I got him when I was suffering from chronic Lyme’s disease. He helped get me out of the house when I was suffering with fatigue. I have lost 70 pounds and I am attempting recomposition. Building muscle and replacing fat. My exercise routine is progressive overload, using a kettle bell. My eating is mainly Keto. I do intermittent fasting 19:5 That is 19 hours of not eating with a five hour window within to eat. This is extremely helpful for sticking to my calorie allowance. I like to eat in the evening so I try to wait until after 3 PM to start eating. Our newest endeavor is riding an electric bike. In Minnesota we live on bike paths that go all across the state. Our plan for the summer is to bike ride to different cities and stay overnight. In Arizona we enjoy hiking in the mountains and several outdoor activities with our friends. When we are there we feel like kids again. Always something fun to do!!
Have a great day everyone!

In the interests of getting to know each other ... (we haven't done this in a little while) ... a question for everyone here ...
Who are you?
I'm Shannon and I'm 49 (will be 50 in a month). I live in a rural area in Ontario, Canada on 7 acres with my partner and our cats. We currently have 4 cats - we just adopted a pair of siblings who had been in a shelter for almost all of their 7 years of life! I love to read, write & research. I love animals, especially cats. I enjoy learning about psychology, religion and science. I am not currently working. My last job was 3 years ago and I had to leave due to health issues. I have been on a journey to repair my emotional, physical and spiritual health ever since.
I've been morbidly obese pretty much all of my adult life, in the high 200s in my 20s and 30s, and then in my mid 30s until now I have been in the high 300s (up to 402). I've been on lots of diets, and then quit dieting about 6 years ago, and have been relearning how to take care of myself since then. In the past 3 years I've changed my life considerably (including, but not limited to nutrition). The weight is very slow to leave, but I am more concerned about improving my life than actual weight loss, and I know that everything I'm doing will naturally result in weight loss eventually. I have done a bunch of trauma therapy in the past 2 years that has caused me to make my eating disorder virtually inactive and allow myself to truly take care of myself as an act of self-love. It has also resulted in a lot less people pleasing and though my circle of friends and family has grown smaller due to the sheer act of placing boundaries in my life, the relationships that remain have grown incredibly close - especially with my partner of 22 years.
I love reading all about you all and am inspired all the time by your daily lives!

Shannon – what kind of surgery are you having? Hope everything goes well. Those cats eating look like our cats when they’re eating
hi Michelle - it's a hysteroscopy with D&C. they keep telling me it's pretty routine, but I haven't had surgery with general anasthetic since I was in my early 20s. And I'm quite anxious in regards to all medical stuff! However, maybe it'll be better than many of the procedures I've had in the last year since I'll be totally knocked out!
