5'1" 51yo female, northern Michigan~ cherry country. I love football!! Been losing/regaining weight my entire life, since elementary school. I am ready to learn to keep it off. It truly is a mental battle for me. I want to not be sore all the time! I'm not interested in being a marathon runner, just able to walk whenever and wherever.

19-May D14 251.4; surprised & thrilled considering I had a binge on Friday night. BUT, I did increase my exercise this week; so it must have offset it. Journalled about my binge to learn triggers and make strategies.

21-May D16 250.8; Woooohoooo! Two days of not-so-healthy food, but was able to eat in moderation. And recently increased exercised and splitting it up into 3x/day.
22-May D17 250.0; ~1200 calories and exercise 3x/day (total of 50mins)
23-May D18 249.4; ~1400 calories and exercise 3x/day (total of 40+mins)
24-May D19 251.4; binged last night. Dang! Why can't I control myself and remember that it affects the scale drastically!?

26-May D21 250.4; ~1005 calories, 85min exercise, and 15C water. I need to stop playing mind games and just be consistent.
27-May D22 251.4; ate as planned & tracked; but then after dinner... binged. Grrrrr. I must have exercised enough to make it only be a 1# gain. Now I just need to exercise that much 65mins Sat. & 75mins Sun. to make it a loss!!!
28-May D23 252.6; another binge night. I have to stop feeling sorry for myself. I have had a few days of hating to track, not wanting to exercise, and the "doom" of doing this forever. BUT! What I have to remind myself (easier in the morning than at night) is that I am making this choice because I want my body to be lighter. My knees and joints need me to be lighter so that I'll be in less pain. So I need to get my mind right at night, too! Thanks for listening.

I knew someone from our area would get it... "cherry country!" lol Actually, I'm north of TC between Elk Rapids & Charlevoix. You & I are probably 1- 1.5 hours apart. My hubby & I have camped in the Rustic Cabin annually for our anniversary @ Hartwick Pines State Park from 2004 until 2017. His back and health have declined, so it's not as fun to go any longer. I'm excited about this journey too! This time it's going to last and stay off! I'm preparing myself mentally more this time than I ever have in the past. I was so close in 2017 that I remember what it feels like to feel so good!! I want to feel good again. And stop me from indulging sooner before it comes back on! I am learning from some on here in MFP that have lost and are learning how to maintain. I KNOW this time it's not a diet. It truly is a lifestyle. And that yes, I may have to track my food every day on MFP.1 -

24-May D19 251.4; binged last night. Dang! Why can't I control myself and remember that it affects the scale drastically!?

28-May D23 252.6; another binge night. I have to stop feeling sorry for myself. I have had a few days of hating to track, not wanting to exercise, and the "doom" of doing this forever. BUT! What I have to remind myself (easier in the morning than at night) is that I am making this choice because I want my body to be lighter. My knees and joints need me to be lighter so that I'll be in less pain. So I need to get my mind right at night, too! Thanks for listening.

It's amazing how fast the weight comes on when I have a night binge!! I have been so good this week and thought the scale would jump just a little more. But that's why we are doing this, right!? To learn more about how food affects our body & our weight. And to learn that it's okay that we don't lose 5# in on day! LOL Even though we might gain it in one day. It's progress! Training the mind to NOT be ruled by the scale is going to be a good exercise from these 100 days. Progress!
Keep working the plan and making good choices!

[Here's something else to try when those night binger monsters are whispering in your ear! Do some full body exercises. Or if it's a rainy day (like it is in northern Michigan lately) and can't get out to walk to start your day.What can you do?
How many days in a row? How many of each exercise?
Set yourself up for success. Make a plan.

It's amazing how fast the weight comes on when I have a night binge!! I have been so good this week and thought the scale would jump just a little more. But that's why we are doing this, right!? To learn more about how food affects our body & our weight. And to learn that it's okay that we don't lose 5# in on day! LOL Even though we might gain it in one day. It's progress! Training the mind to NOT be ruled by the scale is going to be a good exercise from these 100 days. Progress!

It truly is a mental battle for me. I want to not be sore all the time! I'm not interested in being a marathon runner, just able to walk whenever and wherever.

21-May D16 250.8; Woooohoooo! Two days of not-so-healthy food, but was able to eat in moderation. And recently increased exercised and splitting it up into 3x/day.

24-May D19 251.4; binged last night. Dang! Why can't I control myself and remember that it affects the scale drastically!?

26-May D21 250.4; ~1005 calories, 85min exercise, and 15C water. I need to stop playing mind games and just be consistent.
27-May D22 251.4; ate as planned & tracked; but then after dinner... binged. Grrrrr. I must have exercised enough to make it only be a 1# gain. Now I just need to exercise that much 65mins Sat. & 75mins Sun. to make it a loss!!!
28-May D23 252.6; another binge night. I have to stop feeling sorry for myself. I have had a few days of hating to track, not wanting to exercise, and the "doom" of doing this forever. BUT! What I have to remind myself (easier in the morning than at night) is that I am making this choice because I want my body to be lighter. My knees and joints need me to be lighter so that I'll be in less pain. So I need to get my mind right at night, too! Thanks for listening.
