05/13 - 139.9lb (-0.3lb) Ooohhh happy with that weight to start the round. Means I have actually lost over the weekend (no big family dinner last night!) and am back under 140!!! Definitely a great motivator! Food planned and prepped and a decent walk planned for tonight so all good Now to stay under 140 ....
05/14 - 138.7lb (-1.2lb) - Oohhh..... Got on the scales twice to make sure! Am assuming the big drop was only because I had planned a bolognese pasta bake for dinner last night - didn't have as much pasta left as I thought so hubby and girls got the pasta bake and I had the bolognese meat sauce with a salad so dinner was very "light". Either that its the stress of my daughters GCSE Exams getting to me which started yesterday for the next month! Happy for today though! Food planned and prepped for the day and gym tonight for an hour .....
05/15 - 138.9;b (+0.2lb) Slightly up from yesterday but didn't expect such a big drop yesterday so very happy that my weight today has stabilised at this - 1lb down on the round so far and sitting at my round target! May well re-set my round target tomorrow. Food plan and prep sorted for the day so all good. Onwards and downwards.

I'm thinking there's a link ????

05/21 - 141.4lb (-0.6lb) Weighed in just never got on here to log. Temporary weight gain mainly caused by a carb overload over the weekend. Hubby and I were very engrossed nearly all weekend laying the underfloor heating and my 11 year daughter took it upon herself to make us lunch both days which consisted of sandwiches and crisps one day and a ploughmans lunch the next with lots of bread and cheese - yummy! She also made a lovely sponge cake for us to enjoy mid afternoon with a cup of tea. Love her to bits xxxxx
And I did also have a couple of glasses of wine after we had finished on Sunday. So not a real gain but whenever I've overdone the carbs it always takes a good few days to get back to "normal" and expecting the "whoosh" probably Thursday so final round weigh in won't be what I had hoped it would be but its only timing so not concerned.

I am in for another round and have struggled through the beginning of last round and the end of round 75. When I started the first round I never imagined I would still be here. I am 52, 5’1.5” and still in the obese category but I am working on that. I have only been with MFP since February of this year when started using MFP site steady (joined 2016 and didn’t use much and then used off and on) and the weight loss is slowing down already. I definitely need to keep moving (exercising and walking, etc.) in order to see the scale go down. It is tough some days not seeing it move or only seeing a small weight loss. I'm not liking this trend, but it's not a surprise given my food and alcohol consumption over the last week. I decided to see it as a diet break or holiday, which is how it felt having my friends and kids over.
Now, I will prioritise myself, diet and exercise for the next 3 days! I know what to do and this was a good reminder why I need to log and not let my mouth have free reign over what goes into it.
I'm glad I weighed every day (even if I didn't post) as it shows the consequences of my behaviour. Weekly trend weight is up by 0.7kg.

Late to the party this time.
I've struggled the last few rounds. My winter blues did not go away but descended into a bigger problem. On Tuesday evening I realized I had eaten 5 chocolate bars and a package of candy in one afternoon! So my goal for this round is to stop the sugar/chocolate binges and get back to tracking. yesterday was my first day "back"

05/13 – 143.5 – Glad to see I went down a pound.
05/14 – 143.5 – Although I’m glad I’m not up from Sunday’s calories, I am noticing that my trend weight has gone up a pound. I’ve gotten a little lax in measuring and weighing my food, so I’m going to start paying more attention.
05/15 – 142.5 - Drank plenty of water yesterday and stuck to 1400 calories.
05/16 – 143.5 – Well the body is going to do what the body wants to do…I drank plenty of water and kept at 1400 calories.
05/17 - 142.5 - Very busy day today, but also a lot of sodium, so we'll see what happens tomorrow.

05/21 – 145 – No surprise here, other than I’m surprised it’s not higher. My husband and I worked on a rental house we’re getting ready to sell from Friday through Sunday. We ate pizza and tacos for supper those nights. Then my husband wanted to take another day off work and drive to Amish country for some Amish cooked buffet food yesterday. It was delicious. My nsv was that for dessert I had one piece of German chocolate pie. In the past, I would buy a whole pie, take it home and piece on it the rest of the week. I am now at the top of my maintenance range, so I’m going to be watching my calories and water very closely the rest of this week. I’d like to get down a couple pounds before the picnic season hits full swing.

5/13 179.0 lb I'm both happy with and suspicious of this weigh-in. We celebrated a rainy Mother's Day at my parents house where I had three beers, a cheeseburger, and pasta salad. Then, my boyfriend and I drove home separately because I needed to drop off my brother and he needed to let out the dog. I decided to surprise him with some cannoli chips and dip and he decided to surprise me with a cheese pizza for dinner. 🤦♀️ I only got in 8,226 steps due to the rain and had about 40 oz of non-calorie drinks. I have a light day of calories already logged in my diary to hopefully maintain this weight, but I won't be surprised if it creeps up as my weekend choices catch up with me.
5/14 180.6 lb 11,788 steps were tracked yesterday and I had 73 oz of water and non-calorie drinks. I'm planning on going to the gym after work today. Breakfast and lunch are light to help with whatever calories are in the dinner provided by the boyfriend. I haven't really discussed my weight loss goals with him and I don't have any expectations for him to get a healthy meal for us. He and I eat differently; he will stop when he gets full and I'm a lifetime member of the clean plate club. My thinking is that since I'm looking to create long term habits, I should be learning to make the appropriate exercise and food choices to have a few higher calorie meals a week. So far, I'm enjoying the progress I'm making.

I burned 350 calories on the elliptical at the gym, which was great because dinner was homemade steak and cheese sandwiches with tater tots and one beer. I've got a staff meeting this afternoon, followed by a long dog walk (about two miles if my Fitbit is accurate), and I'm ending the evening with pub trivia with the family.
5/16 179.6 lb Onward and downward! 14,268 steps and 59 oz of water and non-calorie drinks were tracked. We blew the final question at trivia, as we typically do, and I felt satisfied with two beers instead of my usual three. I'm planning on walking the dog for two miles and doing level one of the 30 Day Shred after work and then I'll be making chicken lettuce wraps for dinner.
5/17 179.6 lb We have about a month left in the school year and it certainly feels that way. I tracked 16,032 steps yesterday and had about 70 oz of water and non-calorie drinks. I've been drinking way too much Coke Zero, so I'm going to try limit myself to two cans a day. I walked the dog for one mile and did my workout after taking an unplanned afternoon nap. I'll be heading to the gym after work today and then I'll be preparing turkey meatballs over zoodles for dinner.
5/18 178.6 lb Feeling pleasantly sore today. I met my step goal with 13,640 steps, burned 350 calories on the elliptical, and had 61 oz of water and non-calorie drinks. I'll be doing lots of yard work today to get it ready for a get-together next weekend and I'm looking forward to a dinner out with my boyfriend tonight.
5/19 178.8 lb 12,945 steps that were mostly yard work. Dinner was mussels, fries, beer and ice cream, so I was basically eating at maintenance by the end of the day. I only had about 40 oz of water. I'll be walking around a botanical garden with my mother today followed by a late brunch, so I'm hoping to maintain this weight for the next couple of days.
5/20 179.0 lb Same weight as last Monday, but I'm much less suspicious of it. It's been nice to be consistently out of the 180's. The gardens were beautiful yesterday and brunch was a delicious treat. 11,164 steps were tracked and I had about 30 oz of water. I'll be taking the dog for a long walk between school and the last jazz band rehearsal of the year. Meals are already logged for today with room for a beer or two if I want.

I can think of several possible reasons for the uptick: my TOM is due either today or tomorrow, I need to drink more water, two restaurant meals over the weekend are now showing up on the scale, stress from thinking about our spring concert this Thursday. It's all good. I tracked 12,557 steps yesterday and had 40 oz of water and non-calorie drinks. I had a funny NSV yesterday. I have two pairs of size 16 dress pants that are too big, but I've still been wearing because I don't want to buy new ones for the last few weeks of school. I was playing with my dog in the backyard and they definitely slid off of my bottom as we were running around! Good thing we were in the privacy of the backyard!

05/13 - 183lb - after the success of round 76, I let myself have a day of relaxed (but not crazily so) eating before I go hard again this round. Ate over my goal but not more than 1700 calories in total. Back to normal restrictions today!
05/14 - 182lb - sub-goal achieved! Onwards and downwards next sub-goal is 12.5 stone (175lb)!
05/15 - 182lb - made good food choices yesterday, though ate a little later than normal. Looking forward to seeing 12-something (stone) on the scale!
05/16 - 182lb - good food choices yesterday. Still can't go to the gym because of my back but I'm keeping on the food thing! The scales flipped between a couple of numbers so hopefully I'm not far off the next loss!

05/18 - 180lb - hey look at that! Stuck to the food plan yesterday very so very pleased! Also tried some light basic yoga and completely screwed my back up again... Ho hum! But focus on the positives

Goal for round 77 - continue the momentum from 76 and end with a loss. I’ve been up and down through the challenges and would like to see a steady decline, no matter how small.
5/13 - 143.5. Got in a 4 mile run and did tons of walking and was on my feet all day. But most of that was at a music festival. Did not hydrate at all, can feel that today (and not from alcohol, only had one beer. Barely drank any water while there). No good food choices so I tried to stick to smaller portions. Got home at 2am so not nearly enough sleep last night. Hopefully won’t let that derail me too much today. All worth it to see Foo Fighters 😊.
5/14 - 143.5. Pretty happy this is the same as yesterday, fully expected a gain. I feel bloated today. Wins yesterday - long walk with dog. Other than that I rested and ate too much. My husband and I both took the day off post-concert so we went out to lunch. Back to tracking, hydrating, and a solid workout today, 8 days left in this challenge to hopefully see a decent loss.
5/15 - 143.7. So surprised it's not higher. Wins yesterday - HIIT class and 2.5 mile walk. Food intake was terrible, I grazed all day long. Super stressed about work stuff (company going through a merger, had several meetings in the morning and my job is looking less and less stable) so I gave in to stress eating. Really need to reign that in today and stay on track for these last 7 days!
5/16 -145.1. Wow. 2 days of stress eating can do a lot of damage. Need to find a better outlet for stress. Work and family stress at the same time - time to pull out my stress management tools and avoid the pantry. Did get a 4 mile run and a 3 mile walk in yesterday but clearly ate too much and didn't drink enough water.
5/17 - 144.0. Much better day. Wins: RPM class and over 4 miles walked. Hydrated well. Ate better - had a little bit of junk at Bunco but was within a deficit. I guess some of that jump in weight was bloat so that helped make a drop for today. Now to work on the weight. 5 more days, if I focus I can do this.
5/18 - 143.1. Back down. Wins yesterday - hydration, 3 mile walk, core circuit, tracked calories and ended in deficit (even with steak for dinner!). Will be outside in the heat all day today and tomorrow. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!!
5/19 - 142.9. Wins yesterday: HIIT class and 2.5 mile walk with dog early morning. Hydrated well because I was outdoors in 92 degree weather all day. Didn’t eat the best but I was still in a deficit. Hard to stay focused when you’re hot and miserable and kind of bored between your kid’s games 😊. Another day of it today, goal is to stay hydrated and in a deficit. And making sure my kid stays well hydrated in this heat too!
5/20 -144.0. UUUGGGGHHH. Yesterday was the perfect storm of my gym rest day so not as much movement, dehydrated I know because of the heat and humidity (thanks, North Carolina weather), and a dinner higher in calories and sodium than I've been having lately. I wasn't necessarily off plan and my calorie count wasn't too high, so I'm hoping it's just those reasons that I'm up again. Weighing daily is a roller coaster!
5/21 - 143.5. Down from yesterday which is great, but annoyed that I'm where I was 9 days ago. I need more discipline! Wins yesterday: 4 mile run, 45 min hot yoga class. snacked a bit too much in the afternoon but had a lighter dinner so I evened out. Attended a visitation for a friend of the family who passed away so was a bit of a stressful day, but I didn't turn to food too much which was a pleasant surprise.

5/12 151.2, second day back from vacation. Yesterday was at 153.5 so happy to see some of the weight was water. My TOM is coming this week so just hoping to be back where I was at the end of Round 75
5/13 150.5, another nice drop. This is my first time tracking after a vacation. I’m truly amazed how much sodium is in restaurant food. Only .7 lbs away from where I was before the 10 day trip. I am also encouraged that if you go back to eating right, vacation gain isn’t the end of the world and it’s ok to loosen some of your reins.
5/14 149.3, new low! My TOM will be later this week so I expect a temporary gain over the next few days, but encouraged that I can get to this number again by Sunday.

Finally, I've been wanting to do this for awhile and because of the weight I had gained, it was difficult to run for extended periods of time. I want to run the entire 5K, so I found a conservative plan that takes 16 weeks. Let's do this!

05/13 - 195.0 (A gain that was expected from the huge brunch to celebrate Mother's Day for my MIL and SIL. I tried to compensate with a healthy dinner of chili chicken kabobs, green beans and rice with some homemade pesto. It's the end of my workout break, so I'm going full swing today!)
05/14 - 193.2 (I'm at my last official Friday weigh in already and its barely Tuesday! I started with a 55 minute TurboFire workout last night and boy am I sore this morning! Especially my back and my thighs/calves...Most likely I'm below this weight because of the soreness and TOM is a couple days late so I'm waiting for that to start. I made some delicious chicken and cheese crepes last night. OMG first time making savory crepes and I'm in love!)
05/15 - 193.2 (Stayed the same! TOM still has not showed up and my soreness was worse than yesterday! I'm sure I will be a higher weight from all that water retention. Yesterday I started my 5K training. The plan I found had me just walk for the first week. I did a nice 25 minute walk around my hilly neighborhood and I worked out my calves even more! I made a delicious potato corn chowder with a dinner roll for dinner last night. It was delicious!)

Hopefully it's because of a new workout plan or maybe stress...I'm holding onto weight and TMI have not had a bowel movement since Monday morning.
