My goals for this round are to stay on track with my activity, water, calories, and overall food plan. I have pre-planned the 4th of July to be nicely in calories and hopefully I’ll stick to that plan.

07/03 314.8 I’m not surprised by a pound loss, I wasn’t feeling well yesterday and had trouble finding food I wanted to eat. I finally felt like eating midday when I had a snack to hold me off until dinner where I had a favorite comfort meal that I haven’t made in awhile. I weighed it all out though and despite it being a favorite I stayed within my calorie goal. My nsv yesterday was not eating junk or overeating just because I wasn’t feeling well.
07/04 314.6 I’m so happy that I didn’t bounce up a little. I wasn’t great with water yesterday and I took a longer morning walk because the temperature was so much cooler. I also take a rest day on Wednesdays, which I didn’t take yesterday because of the nicer weather.
07/05 314.8 I’m okay with this. I was under calories, but higher on carbs than I’ve been recently. I also need to get better with my water. My nsv was staying on track yesterday.

7/02 - Did not weigh - 8am, too early. My last meal was 10:30pm last night. I need to tame my fasting and eating schedule, so that I can get a true weight early in the morning. 55g carbs, 51g net carbs. Carbs were: crackers, onions, peanut butter, spinach.
7/3 - 180.4 - Early weigh in. I am holding a lot of fluid, from carbs and not drinking enough water. Only 64 ozs daily for the past 2 weeks.
7/4 - 179.4 - 38g carbs, 35g net carbs. Carbs were: salad, crackers, spinach.
7/5 - 179.8 - 50g carbs, 39g net carbs. Carbs were: spinach, asparagus, hamburger roll, French fries.

07/02 152.6 ~ {Steps 17,711} ~ It’s been a few weeks since I didn’t have to struggle with logging everything, YESTERDAY BOOM! My husband and I took a drive to the coast, Pete loveeeed walking in the sand!

07/03 152.1 ~ {Steps 14,331} ~ The day was spent doing a lot of errands in the morning, that being said my husband wasn’t working these last 3 days! Usually THOSE are the days I struggle with making healthy food choice, I call it a win even though the scale barely dropped!

07/04 151.6 ~ {Steps 14,331} ~ I seriously need to continue to focus, we decided to have dinner at our favorite restaurant! I usually don’t make the healthiest food choices and over eat, boom not yesterday, woot hoot! I can do this I can, I can, I can!

07/02 143.8 starting the round the same as the end of the round, which is a better than last round. Going to a barre class today. I find them kind of boring, but muscles burn so I think it works and instructor is really good at adjusting.
07/03 143.7 took a barre class yesterday and really enjoyed it (still boring but feels great to stretch and I can do most of the moves) so will be adding that 3 times a week (more strength based than my usual workout)
07/04 143.7 my parents are leaving for a month on Friday on vacation so went to a very nice restaurant with them (prix fix) so did go over calories but it was a once in a lifetime type of experience so is worth a slight stall in weight. Today I’m going to a barre class and eating light before going to a buffet dinner with family with a fireworks watching area. Hope everyone has a great celebration today!!
07/05 143.7, apparently my body really likes this number! I’ll take it though since I did have a full burger with ketchup and mustard last night and a few different salad options. I also had two gin and sodas, so stayed within calorie range if added all exercise back in. Today, I’m going to try hot yoga for the first time. The same instructor who taught barre yesterday is subbing for that class and she was really good at modifications. I’m not as sore as I thought I would be after barre . With elliptical I usually never take a break, but will take one on Sunday since I’m worried with all of the muscle classes I might overdo it and be out for a longer than I want.

@justakygirl this has happened to me in the past when I've successfully lost weight - to an extent complacency pays a part but I wondered if its almost like a fear that sets in - oh what will i do if I hit target? its like I self sabotage, you can get there, its not easy, I've yo-yo'd all my life, wishing you all the luck - I lost loads of weight for my 40th and never quite lost the last 4lbs, keep going and life really is fun in your 40s x
@donnajgrant thank you for this. I think it is a fear, because this is something we've dealt with for so long. I'm glad to know there is still fun to be had in my 40s

Mini Intro & RoutineHi. I'm a 29yr 5' 4" female from Spokane, Wa. I've had too many cheat days lately, and need to get back on track & keep myself accountable.
My current motivation is fitting old clothes and being able to actually dress up this Halloween, but I'm hoping to be slim and fit by my wedding next year.
Doing low carb 18:6 IF. I go to the gym 2-3 times per week, and either walk or do yard work on my weekends.

July 4 - 160.8 A satisfying drop! Had a red bull Italian Soda and even a little wine, and I'm still getting closer. Haven't been 160lbs since February of 2018!
July 5 - 163 Discouraging. Had dinner at a friend's house for the 4th, and now I gotta fix my mess from all the carbs and water retention. Ugh. Fasting until dinner tonight and drinking tons of water, and then I'll behave for the rest of the week.

7/3 124.5 I only ate about half of the small salad I made for lunch yesterday. Just not hungry. Made myself eat a Flying Dutchman for dinner. Next time I won’t add onion because Carl gives me most of his! Today doctor and stock car races!
7/4 124.5 Met daughter and 4 grandkids for lunch at Cici’s but I wasn’t hungry so had the steak salad I had made for lunch yesterday after doctor appointment. Ate a hot dog at the races last night- no bun. The doctor said my labs are excellent but we are changing my BP med.The races were great last night! Wonderful fireworks there. Today a BBQ at friends only a block away.

7/03: 136.6: Woot! This is the lowest I've seen in years. Let's see if I can keep it here (or get lower ). Played a couple hours of pickleball last night and was careful to fuel before the workout. I'd been noticing some fatigue during play and need to make sure I'm eating enough to be energized out there. Eating an energy bar about an hour before play really made a difference.
7/04: 136.0: Enjoying this downward trend but know that I bounce up and down all the time so not getting attached to the number.
7/05: 136.4: Not horrible. Spent way too much time in the sun yesterday morning and was woozy and sort of out of it the rest of the day. Should have drank more water.

07/02 133 New low. This is actually the usual pattern. Down a little down a little more, than spike up before coming down...and then to a new low. It works...but it's a crazy ride! Strenghth class and zumba yesterday. Ate clean and healthy.
07/03 132 A new low! Definitely this one goes back 27 years. Not sure I've seen this number since I've been married! Stuck to low carb yesterday. Only a half of a real brownie my son made and then I made myself a pretty dang marginal brownie in a mug...which satisfied my craving to make a brownie in a mug, anyway and was at least filling. (P.S. I'm silently and in slow motion jumping up and down for joy....don't want the scale to hear me and backtrack!)

07/02: WEIGHT: 244 Great day to see this post. So excited to do this because I am on a time crunch to lose 15lbs! GOAL: 15lbs in 3 weeks. If I don't meet this goal I will not be able to Skydive over the Gulf of Mexico this summer. I am motivated but worried the things I am doing isn't going to cut it. I hope this daily tracker helps!
07/03: WEIGHT: 242(started at 248)...So I stepped on the scale this AM and the scale had jumped 5lbs...I did start my monthly this morning(so IDK..). It prompted me to kick my workout into higher gear. I am happy with the end result today!
07/04: 240, I didn't do my daily exercise but I didn't eat anything but an egg for breakfast. I know thats not good for me but hey my weigh in was perfect!

07/03- 204.1 - This past week has been hell for me. I got my root canal done last week and everything went great, but I'm feeling insane pain on my bottom wisdom tooth that is impacted. I won't be able to see my dentist until the 15th and that's for a cleaning and buildup on my root canal tooth. I'm currently on antibiotics for my teeth and living off of ibuprofen, trying to only take 1 a day. On top of that I caught the flu from my parents and I'm cramping What made things worst is instead of feeling sick and not having an appetite I've had a HUGE appetite and keep snacking on chips. My weight went up so much these past few days and I'm happy it finally went down a notch. Trying to stay focused, but I'm in constant pain, work is driving my crazy, I barely see my boyfriend once a week if that and I have 0 social life these days. Just trying to hang in there
07/04- 203.8 - Yay for the mini loss! But I'm so bloated right now and even my loose tops that hide the tummy have been letting me down. I've been trying to deal with my tooth pain also and haven't taken any meds other than antibiotics these past couple days. Ate healthy today and snacked on some chips, but walked a lot at the lake. I also heard from my friend that had moved which was really surprising. Things still feel a little weird for me, but I was really happy to hear from her and think that put me in a better mood because I had been really bummed lately.
07/05- 203.5 - That walking yesterday definitely did help! I've also been leaving the house earlier than usual so I can go to the grocery store to get my lunch for the day instead of eating out. Pros of today: Got a salad and Atkins pizza for lunch along with deli meat and a pack of baby carrots and hummus for snacking. Cons: I also got a bottle of the Starbucks frap which is super high in carbs, but I didn't want to wait in line at Starbucks and waste more time this morning.
I'm just trying to balance things out and pay more attention to calories right now. Also getting water in (20oz already ) and plan to walk more today.
I'm excited it's the weekend, but it will also be a year since my aunt passed away from cancer. Family is trying to get me to go to the yearly memorial, but they will be holding it at an Armenian restaurant where we did my other uncles 40 day passing memorial. I honestly don't want to go, not to be disrespectful or anything, but her side of the family will be there and some of them are judgmental and love to talk and I really don't need it in my life right now. It's annoying when people watch everything you do and eat, etc.

07/03 – 161.8 Stocked up on groceries with lots of fruit and veggies. Went a bit over on the fresh cherries with LNS but that doesn’t seem to have the bloat effect that the same calories of junk food would. Got out patterns and tidied up my sewing room to make a summer top that fits my present shape and feels good to wear (hopefully). I’ve looked all over for something but impossible to find a sleeveless top for my short apple shape that doesn’t have floppy shoulders and gigantic armholes. Worked out a pattern last fall so hoping it will be a fast, easy sew. Going out to the coast on the 12th.
07/04 – 161.8 – Happy 4th of July to all you Americans. Stayed up way to late last night dithering over how much to spend on a very good holiday sale. But no LNS! Hanging in there to get to 160’s. Not surprising to have 4th of July sales, but this company is in Russia (embroidery stuff – mybobbin.com).

I will be back for another round. It will be 1 year on mfp on 7/7 and I honestly thought I would have been at my ultimate goal weight by now. Unfortunately I am not and I still have about 7-8 pounds to go. I have lost 33 pounds though and am very happy with that. I have revised my goal weight a couple of times, but am firm at 138 (at least for right now,lol) I am doing 14 days with no alcohol to see if this is what is slowing my progress down. I am also recovering from a pretty bad infection and still on antibiotics from a stupid spider bite. So maybe I will have a really big whoosh this round! Maybe, fingers crossed!

7/03: 145.9 still here. We did eat Sonic last night for dinner, but I did not eat the bun and only half my tater tots, so I stayed within my calories. I had also only eaten about 400 calories during the day because I knew we would probably grab something on the go last night. Still no alcohol and plenty of water, so on track for this week so far.
7/04: 145.9 this has been my weight 4 days out of the last 5. Still no alcohol and at a deficit. Going hiking this am with my hubby and hopefully will see a drop tomorrow.
7/05: 146.7 ate at maintenance yesterday so I guess that means a spike up today. Woke up super thirsty with really dry lips, so maybe not enough water yesterday. 11 days no alcohol and not any changes in weight. I’m about to throw in the towel on this no alcohol for 2 weeks thing. I really thought I would have seen at least a pound or maybe 2 pound loss to kick me into overdrive, but I have lost 4/10 of a pound in 2 weeks with a large deficit. I’m sticking with it today still, we will see how I feel tomorrow.

7/3: 206.7...104g of protein. With the increase in protein I notice that I don't snack as much in the evening as I usually do and also know that I need to increase my water intake so I am also drinking more water. I will be working late tonight, but I still want to make sure I still go out for a run later today.
7/4: 206.1...95g of protein. I had preplanned to get in more protein during my evening snack, but I felt full and didn't want to eat anymore. However, later in the evening I still ended up doing some evening snacking but it wasn't my preplanned protein snack and it was just eating for eatings sake. I need to work on that. Didn't go for a run yesterday, but going to the trainer this morning.
7/5: 206.5...69g of protein. It's funny because I thought I was eating a lot more protein. Also didn't get much water in. Had a great workout with my trainer. I realized that without a race goal I don't have as much motivation to go out and run. I also realized that I was a little depressed that since I had my injury I would now have to start back slowly and all I want to do is jump back to the amount of running I was doing before I got injured, but I know that's not smart. So yesterday I got my big girl pants on and signed up for a 5k in August and I'm going to start up slowly running tonight. The race goal will also help me to stay focused with exercising while I'm on vacation.

07/02 …..193.6 ….. Starting off another pound down, so the loss is sticking so far. I woke up starving yesterday, but after black coffee I had no hunger all day. I am sure I am fat adapted at this point. Yesterday was my son’s 23rd birthday. The party will be in a few weeks more than likely, but my son, brother & I did a mini-celebration late yesterday evening. We had a BBQ with steak, baked potatoes with sour cream, corn & grilled garlic bread & sherbet icecream. I ate the steak and 1 small baked potato with sc. No corn or bread. No icecream. It was pretty easy to stick to my guns since the hunger is at bay. Yesterday’s stats: 1071 Calories In / 2515 Calories Out. 39 Net Carbs. 11,008 Total Steps & 4.66 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Steps Hours. I did 44 minutes of vigorous cabin cleaning. I slept badly only getting 3 hours & 24 minutes of sleep. Good luck on round 82 Everyone! I appreciate you all.
07/03 …..193.6 ….. Holding steady. 3rd day in a row yesterday with low hunger and low calories. Not enough water & very little shedding. I will work on that today. I expect lots of movement today as I have a full house and am booked out for the next few days due to the holiday. The lack of calories (or water) seems to have stopped the loss on the scale. But the loss is sticking so I’m pleased. I will try to increase my calories a bit today with healthy LCHF foods. Last night I had to eat 2 ounces of cheddar cheese just to get out of the 800 range. Yesterday’s stats: 1062 Calories In / 2450 Calories Out. 23 Net Carbs of mainly veggies. 10,185 Total Steps & 4.31 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Steps Hours. I slept 3 hours & 50 minutes and woke up very early but refreshed (so my weigh-in was an early one). I took an 18 minute walk & I vigorously cleaned a cabin for 37 minutes. I am still feeling very strong in my plan today & my hunger, so far this morning, is still at bay.
07/04 …..193.8 ….. A small blip up. No worries, just normal body adjustments. I had a great day yesterday & stayed on plan. I hoped to hit a few extra calories but did not manage it. I added some almonds & walnuts last night as a snack to bring it over 1000 calories. I stayed active with work and felt pretty good all day. I did feel a bit more hunger than the previous days but found myself easily full. Yesterday’s stats: 1086 Calories In / 2929 Calories Out. 22 Net Carbs. 15,178 Total Steps & 6.42 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 12 minutes. ROUND 82 (Round 24 for me)
5’4 ½” 67 y/o Texas Lady
SW 178 lb.
Goal: Maintain between 135 and 140 lb. and increase muscle, endurance, and jogging distance (while not damaging my knees).
I started Round 54 and Keto WOE on September 24, 2018.
Cumulative weight loss for Rounds 54-70 = 44 lb.
I started and finished the last four rounds with a high weight of 135. I’ve grown accustomed to the keto WOE and, mostly, stick to that, but I add extra carbs when I’m under 135, which is almost daily.

07/2 131.4 This number is lower than expected and below where I want to maintain, but it’s fixable. I returned from my travel to NM several days ago (great time with old friends), and, after my return, I noted my daily weigh-ins on a scrap of paper—just didn’t have time to get online. I’m catching up! I just finished filling in the Round 81 numbers—didn’t want to leave it incomplete. It’s hard to believe we’re already into a new round!
07/3 131.8 This is good. I’ve been telling people who are concerned I’m losing too much weight that I’m not losing more—just maintaining. I don’t want to be untruthful. I have to be careful about eating extra carbs, because my stomach isn’t used to extra carbs and rebels. I’m still learning and experimenting with the keto WOE for maintaining. I probably eat as much food as before I lost weight, just different food.
07/4 131.8 My husband and I celebrated Independence Day by going to watch Spider Man and eating popcorn. 😊 Our local community had a great fireworks display on Saturday, and we watched the Capitol Independence Day celebration on PBS, so it was a good day. We’re grateful God has blessed our nation, and we pray our citizens will trust God and look to Him for continued blessings.
07/5 133 Yesterday’s popcorn showed up! I’m still below my maintenance range, so it’s good. My vertigo has stopped since I quit taking my statin drug to lower cholesterol. I suppose I should try the statin again, to see if the vertigo returns, but, frankly, I now worry more about falling than about strokes. We can’t live without risk—we just try to choose wisely.

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

So, in 10 days lost 1 pound...well, that's still 1 pound less, and no more gained...but more than that I'm on a journey so I'm stoked for the next ten days...
so, goals for this round stay under 50 carbs per day, continue AF, continue exercise...and just see what happens to the scale

07/02 - 134.3 (-0.3lbs) - Sore today from all the core work yesterday. Food on point. 1hr strength. 35 min cardio. 17 cups water. 12,749 steps.
07/03 - 133.7 (-0.6lbs) - Food was mostly good. I had a handful of vegan cheezits, not the healthiest but was still under calories and the rest of the day was clean. 45min strength. 103min cardio. 16 cups water. 11,441 steps.
07/04 - 134.4 (+0.7lbs) - Bloated! Food was good besides those damn vegan cheezits. 1hr 40min cardio. 149 oz water. 15,597 steps.
07/05 - 135.8 (+1.4lbs) - Water retention. Bloated. Slightly sore. Vegan cheezits again 🤦🏻♀️ I needed to fill calories quick. 30min strength. 1hr 15min cardio. 168oz water, extra because I spent 30min in the sauna, had to replenish.

07/03 67.7kg and I feel like my control is slipping. I need to focus on the last 10kg. Ran this morning despite the cold getting worse.
07/04 67.1kg with a nasty cold. Fighting it with Tom yam soup but feeling rubbish!
07/05 68.0kg from nowhere! Hoping it's just the cold causing the gain as food has been good. Too rough to run today, I'm going to take it easy
