How do you react to feeling like you’re in a rut? A wise man once said that the best way to overcome a midlife crisis is to post crappy poems on Twitter.

And it wouldn’t be mfp if we didn’t encourage some tomvaguery. Just don’t be a jerk. Because rules.

    I might question the wisdom of said man. Twitter is a very, very bad place (IMHO)

    I feel like I have escape from the other side of a long mid-life existential (all of life is really an existential crisis though, aint it?) crisis tunnel, started sometime when I had my first kid in 2009 and simultaneously switched careers and rev'd into high-gear in 2013 when my Mom died.

    Now in 2019 I'm (relatively) stable, patient and legitimately pretty happy, flexible, optimistic, and best of all, present.

    One hell of a road to get here though.

    Sorry this aint a poem.
