    I will be back for another round! Did way better during the summer challenge than I did in the Autumn one. So maybe I can keep that going.

    Challenge Starting Weight ~ 144.3 My weigh-in days will be Friday though

    9/27~ 142.0 great start to the challenge. I am losing so slow these days, so I am hoping by the end of next month to be in the 130's firmly. Even if it is only 139, lol.

    Some folks put the some of the distant past or distant future in a spoiler. Early in the challenge, I just post the relevant lines that are already filled in. I move the goal/actual each month. Late in the challenge sometimes I just put start/end data for past months and focus on what's going on now.

    As an example, I wasn't going to post today, but Tish suggested yesterday as a starting date. My post would look like this, were I to post it, and normally I would NOT put it in a spoiler paragraph:
    Original starting weight (March 2013) - 175.4
    Original MFP starting weight (January 2018) - 168.2
    September 23, 2019 starting weight - 141.8 (ten-day rolling average 142.7)
    Ultimate goal - Maintain around 143 (range between 140 - 150)

    September:
    September 1: 143.0 (10-day average 145.8) First day of Meteorological Fall.
    September 23: 141.8 (10-day average 142.7) First day of Astronomical Fall. So I'll go with this date and make Monday my weigh-in day this season.
    September 26: 142.8 (10-day average 142.6) First day of challenge as requested by Tish.
    September 30:

    Weight lost this week: Up 0.8 pounds from last Thursday and a full pound from September 23. My ten-day average indicates is DOWN 0.8 pounds since last Thursday and down a mote since the 23rd.

    September Goal: 143
    September Actual: So far, so good. Four days to go.

    Challenge Weight loss goal: Maintain my mass in a range between 140-150
    Actual Weight loss for the challenge: Steady as she goes....

    On the other end of the spectrum, some folks post daily instead of weekly, and some of those posts are pretty long. I usually ignore those. Sorry y'all.

    Notes: Oh I need this Tish! Winter is always difficult for me. I tend to hibernate and put on 10 pounds of winter weight. It's never been a problem - I've always been able to drop it off fairly easily in the spring. Not true anymore, and I don't want to undo all of the hard work these last 10 months. Maintaining through the cold months would be a win, but there's no reason I can't keep progressing towards my goal.

    I'll try to remember to use the spoiler code. And, I'll move my weigh ins to Friday's as we move forward.

    Weight lost this week: The scale says another 2.4 pounds in a week. That's three weeks in a row at least that much.. That's hard to believe! My ten-day average indicates 1.3 pounds; another big loss. Time to start eating more calories!

    September Goal: 143
    September Actual: I passed my goal and kept losing. Not a real problem yet, and I'm happy with it. August wasn't a great month for me. September was my catch up. Now if I can hold steady, I'll be chuffed.

    Challenge Weight loss goal: Maintain my mass in a range between 140-150
    Actual Weight loss for the challenge: Scale is below that, but ten-day average is right near the bottom.

    Notes: Here we go! Week 1 is showing half a pound down on the scale and a tenth on the Trend Weight (a 10-day rolling average). That would be a wonderful rate of weekly loss, but I've been at this steadily since last December and it simply isn't working that way. I've amped up an exercise routine over the last month that is doable during the colder months. If I am consistent with the exercise and mindful of the comfort foods, I should be able to make progress towards my weight goals. I'm targeting a 1.5 pound/month rate that can (theoretically) get me to goal. We'll see. Honestly, if I can avoid the 10 lb "winter weight gain" that I have averaged over a lifetime, I'll be happy.
